| at least Shinpachi was in the top 10 LOL. Oh my god Sougo was SECOND? I thought Toshi was going to be second but holy crap. I didn't even know m'boy ranked so high in the last poll too. I can't believe Yamazaki was fifth in the first char poll. I love him. Shinpachi and Yamazaki are both in my top 5 so... ;v; if it's any consolation... I am actually so relieved Otae ranked low... | I too prefer Sachan over Tsukuyo and was so saddened by her low ranking. I mean just picturing Yuu Kobayashi going mental in a recording booth in this episode alone cracks me up. Tsukki is still great though of course. |

| That seem a promising comedy arc. The concept can lead to some hilarious end, like the death of the autor x) R.I.P Sorachi, you'll be missed (especially since now the art is all fucked over!!!) Tae evil face was priceless, it gave me chills xD Kyuubei is also so innocently evil :3 She may have a bit too much of dedication toward Tae. I mean, to commit sepuku... And plz, don't hurt Tsukuyo, she has already suffered enough! :O |

| Wasnt expecting Kyubei to be the one to suggest taking out he higher spots, but her admiration for Otae knows no bounds. I love how she takes everything so seriously haha. Also confirmation that my boy Tojo was lurking in the shadows all of last arc. Changes my viewpoint on it drastically. But wheres Zenzou!?!?!? This is what happens when he disappears for like 100 eps (and i thought the 20-30 eps without Kyuubei and Tojo were bad). Sorachi really loves to torture Yamazaki, when he made him a sidenote in a dogs funeral i knew he was sougo level sadistic towards the poor guy. He even said that Yamazaki was the only character he wouldnt give a manga volume cover too. |

| Behold you mere mortal, the greatest arc that ever bestowed upon us. The legendary arc of Gintama... The Popularity Poll Arc!! Yes, my #1 arc of Gintama, outside of the obvious main arc/canonically arc, that is so great I even cook a decent meal for once before watching it. Prime rib crusted with a thick layer of herbs. Served with a blue cheese cream sauce. Side of Marscapone mashed potatoes and roasted Brussels sprouts. Yummy. Anyway, Takasugi shouldn't even be in top 5 to be honest, he didn't do anything major outside Benizakura, even Kamui is arguably have had more character development than him. Also so glad for Tsukuyo to be in top 10, she is in my top 3 favorite character in Gintama, but since she still have little screen time I think I'm okay with her being there (wtf is Yamazaki even doing in the top 10?). That is so typical of Otae, to ruin everything like that, honestly my first impression of her back then was already terrible enough, and even until now it still didn't change. Even Sa-chan that I found annoying is still somewhat better than her (though by a small margin). Oh and it's gonna be riot with Hijikata and Sougo being so close to their rank like that, boy I can't wait. Oh this is gonna be so good it's unreal, and yes I'm still enjoying my meal while typing this. Onto the next episode we go! |

| Lmao, I think this will be my favourite arc. It has a Battle Royale vibe lol Ok but I'm very disappointed on the in-anime fandom tbh. How seeing Gintama's strongest and hottest character naked gets him on 136th? He should be 1st! /s Takasugi and Tatsuma are definitely TOO high tho, they barely had done anything at all. Takasugi isn't that interesting or badass either. |
