| Stupid 1h delay... This ep seemed a little slow, and at times it looked like it had a low budget... But that is to be expected. Either way, the source material, and ending of this episode were great. |
| -SORACHI-SENSEI! NOOOOOOOOO! (When Otae was coming out of the TV, I thought "the source" was the manga readers but then I realized, no wait, the author) -Ugh. I never liked that ugly CGI of theirs that they use at the beginning but the comedy wasn't bad. Loved the acknowledgment that the movie was indeed happening. And why the hell is Takasugi still so high at 4th? I mean, he's not that badass. Hell, we only saw him fight like twice. -Noticed that they changed the OP when Gintoki on the battlefield moves his arm, you see Katsura, Takasugi and the other guy who we don't see too much charging with him. I think they were supposed to be there but they forgot or something. -Wow, they are really going all out on this. Not only did they leave the rankings through the episode but they kept it in the ED song. And Yamazaki is still 136th. Loved the girls reaction to Tsukuyo being 9th and it occurred to me that they haven't met her yet at all. -The show: "And now that the manga creators taken out, the Gintama anime is taking a break next week" Me: "WHAT!" Show: "It's not possible" Me: "You guys are ******* trolls" Anybody else notice the incredibly quick Gundam 00 reference? |

| great episode I love this arc already I don't know how the hell Takasugi is ranked 4th? I can't even remember the last time I saw him wasn't it like the Benizakura arc? Katsura should have 4th spot imo Poor Otae stuck between the gorilla twins lol I noticed in the ED their rankings went up one b/c of Otae |

| My first impressions of this arc are that it is the best idea ever dreamt up in any anime or manga. Seriously, who but Sorachi would have thought of basing an arc on the character popularity polls. It's genius! Can't wait for the next episode! And finally Sa-chan got some screentime! And a decent amount at that! Woohoo! garfield15 said: And why the hell is Takasugi still so high at 4th? He is also the only character in Gintama that never losses his cool whatever the situation. He never worries because he knows hes the best. Takasugi doesn't need fights to prove he is badass, he has reputation. |

XD LOL at the ED, Sorachi has been taken out by Otae :D The way I see it, I think this is going to be 4 episodes like the manga had 4 chapters since they used 1 chapter of this... Well anyway, next episode will be more funny. Can't wait >.< |

| And the long awaited arc is finally here! I was dying to see the Otae/Sa-chan/Kyuubei gossip scene animated. I loved Sa-chan losing her cool there xD The 3D segment at the beginning was awesome as well. |

| I was surprised when they finished the countdown in the beginning so quickly; didn't expect a whole arc dedicated to it. Me like it nonetheless. How come Yamazaki dropped to 136位 for being naked, while Gori-san is 15位 doing nearly nothing else but exposing himself lately... Tsukuyo 9th - great. |

| The ranking thing is hilarious :) Shame Tsukki only got 10th and Kyubei only got 14th. Its true though, humans are creatures of merit. Look at this site, i mean its everywhere. Numbers, statistics, rankings, orders, popularity, voting, polls... Its kind of funny how much people love seeing numbers but hate math. Shinpachi being emo over 8th place... I was loling the whole time. I'd probably feel the same way too. Although I can kind of relate considering i was ranked 3rd as an Anime Reviewer and i dropped down to 6th. But that happens when you stop reviewing stuff for 2 years :) Actually im impressed i only dropped 3 spots over 2 years. Seeing everyone quarrel over their ranking was too epic for words. And the girls pissed that Tsukki is ranked higher than them was just awesome. Cant wait for next ep... |

| Why would Yamazaki losing his cloths cause his ranking to drop? I see nothing wrong with that, on the contrary O.O... Why is Takasugi so high anyway ? I don't even remember when I saw him last that wasn't in an opening... And I expected Kagura to rank higher :(. She's too awesome for that 6th place she was given Anyway, I loved this ep :P. It was such a nice laugh after the previous arc, these producers just know how to perfectly mix things up :). And now I'll watch the next one because I have to know who the culprit is |

| Wow, I never expected the popularity polls could inspire an arc! Gintama is so innovative!! The ending with Shinpachi being turned to doodles was really funny!! Looks like this would be an arc that I'll like! |

| I can't believe it's been so long since we've seen Otea-san. She is still the best woman in Gintama. Not the romantic pick but still the best one. I like this arc because it gives up a chance to have the other characters have screen time. It's hard to do that in long drawn out shows but they pull it off in a very hilarious way as well. |
