Here she is just a lot of fun, she injected a lot of "life" into the series at this point but the very short scene where she goes "Asuka, here we go", while simple, is a hint of the crux of her character. Eva 02 is my favorite Evangelion as well, just a real cool design and the moment where 02 is jumping from ship to ship as well as the part where it opens the angels mouth, are great images. |

| I just recently started watching it after a year of being told by my friend how amazing it is. Put it off for the longest time. Now I have a new found liking to Mecha, and some serious ass fighting scenes. Also glad to have met Asuka. :) So early on, and it's already favorite worthy. |

| I've known about Asuka for a while, but never knew what kind of character she was. First impression is good, she's a feisty one! Tsundere vibes are kicking in. Misato just keeps cracking me up too, especially her reaction to running into an apparent ex. That ending blew my mind though, the embryo of Adam? Well shit, I'm starting to see how the word Genesis fits into this. |

| I am really liking Shinji now. He isn't afraid of piloting the Eva and he seems to do his job without complaining. Asuka's personality is pretty good, love her tsundere character. Both would make a good team when they get along. |

| Finally we get to see Asuka, and Shinji is working with her to pilot the Eva 2. I think they both make a good team when they get along. I like Asuka, she seems like a great character and a good tsundere. I was not expecting that German decent though, totally caught me off guard considering I've heard and seen so much about her over the internet. Two favorite characters right now are Shinji and Asuka. By the end I'm expecting to like them all equally. Well, let's see what the next episode brings us! |

| Oh my god. Finally, after wondering who that one orange haired girl from NGE is, I finally know who it is. What a grand entrance, I cannot wait to see more of her in the upcoming episodes. |

| Hmm, I didn't realize Asuka was so popular. I was indifferent about her when I first watched NGE. Misato is so awesome. The American commanders on the bridge were all freaking out over Gaghiel and Misato's all like "lolol ya'll are noobs" then Asuka starts up Eva 02 on her own accord and Misato's all like "OH HELL YEAH YOU GO GIRL" |

| Asuka is pretty cool c: What is a little jarring to me is the tone of some of the scenes. They'll be really tense and there's a sense of foreboding in the air, then there's times where they don't seem to give a fuck and there's comedic shit going on lol. This ep was like a seesaw of it. |

| Finally!! An episode that I genuinely like! NGE so needed a character like her. Where have you been Asuka-chan~~~? You know they say Eva are the only weapons that can kill Angels, yet this is twice they've killed it using human made ordinary weapons. And where was the AT-field this time, which protects the angels from anything other than Evas? Leaving that aside, Asuka's “Chance!" face reminded me of the one in FLCL. She could've been the inspiration for all we know, after all she looks quite similar to that crazy woman. And the secrets are getting slowly unveiled, though I've got no idea about what the secrets are. |
