Great episode. Jotaro's plan was really good & predicting how Red Hot Chili Pepper would try to kill Joseph was spot on.
Nice to see Akira & his guitar playing was cool to hear.
Josuke vs Akira was intense. Chili Pepper is fast, but good use of the tire from Josuke to stop him.
Joseph still hilarious as always, although it is sad to see how age has impacted on him.
Lol Osomatsu-kun. Okuyasu trying to figure out who the real enemy was hilarious.
A nice punch in the end.
That was a sweet & heartwarming reunion between Josuke & Joseph.
That little tease at the end.

It was good indeed. Although is sad to see Joseph that senile after all he had done in BT and SC, but he's still charismatic at least.

Another matter I could seen is that some parts characters portrait looked so akward on screen. I can infer that David Production aren't making this animation as crisp as it did seasons before, perhaps is because this animation style (?)

Anyway, Chilli Pepper's user introduction was fantastic, not to mention that sick solo he did to express his rage.

And that ending... was satisfying to watch.

Pro-tip: That limited animation Josuke has at his face in 21:10 is hillarius af.

Fantastic episode! You know you are enjoying when the episode felt like 5mins. Jojo always delivers.

Sad to see how much Joseph has aged. The father and son reunion was touching, yet keeping that manly touch to it.

Really awesome to have three JoJo's together at once. The scene at the end with Josuke and Joseph hurt my heart. It hurts to see the best JoJo so old and feeble now but I guess surviving to a super old age as a cost. He should've kept up with his hamon training ;_;

LOOK AT JOTARO SMILING AND JOSUKE NOT USING HIS POWERS SO HE CAN HOLD HIS DAD'S HAND. Joseph Joestar is back!

And Koichi was basically the entire fandom at the end.

Joseph might be my favorite character in all of anime/manga, so it's sad to see age finally catch up with him. But at the same time, it's refreshing to see a character grow old in a series. Even someone as badass as Joseph (the man was fighting Dio in his 60s!) is still susceptible to growing old and senile. Really touching scene with Josuke though. Loved it.

Araki retconned the whole stand dying thing already in Stardust crusaders, neither did the guy killed Polnareffs sister die when Polnareff killed his stance.

DIO draining his blood probably messed him up.

Because it wasn't destroyed. He tries to kill Joseph with it a few minutes later. If anything, the water damaged it by dispersing the source of its energy.

That's because Polnareff never "killed" the Hanged Man. He just cut it and damaged it. J. Geil realized he was losing and ran away instead of continuing fighting.

.

Possibly, but it's still obvious he didn't keep up. Him in part 3 is the only ripple user (with a known age) to actually look their age. He was in his 60's and it showed. (hell he looks a lot older than straizo does even in part 3, despite being like 6 years younger)

Lisa lisa was 50 in part 3 and it was like wtf, and then straizo in part II. Zapelli in part 1 was also 50 (according to wiki)

Man, seriously, I can barely stand even looking at Joseph's state. I'm sure that Hamon would have helped him look much better in his 80s(he's actually in a worse state than many 80 year olds).

I think it's a good thing that they are hinting at
early. he manga everything after this part until the main characters learn
felt lackluster to me. I'm not saying they were per say, it's just one thing that helped buoy up of the earlier meh villains of the week like (The Lock) and Hazamada (the Surface) was having an overarching threat in the form of a central antagonist lurking out there, and knowing that he could strike any time if he chose to. That is some thing that missing from
and doesn't show up again until
. Those of you who have read the manga do you agree or disagree with me.

That guitar solo alone deserves 5/5. Syoutarou did a great job voicing Otoishi Akira.
Before this ep, so many manga readers said that how old Joseph had been in DiU and how sad they felt about it. Now he finally made an appearance. It's not that bad. He's still that adorable Joseph and still my favorite JOJO. I mean I also felt sad when hearing he's in poor health in the last ep. But on the other hand I'm happy and relieved about his being alive and having some quiet time during the decade after going through all those crazy stuffs when he was younger.
3 JOJOs in one scene and Josuke holding Joseph's hand is quite touching.
OMG, I almost forgot the severed hand at the beginning of DiU. Nice reminder.
