| Fine, for me 6+ anime are worth watching. 5-6 ratings are divided by the worth watching line, though I always expect 7+ of an anime. 5 is meh. Also, at my university, you need to get a 5 to pass, so to me 5 is not that bad. |

| Reviewers are so much less forgiving nowadays. Most shows in the sixes would have at least been in the sevens if aired several years earlier. A six rating doesn't mean it's not worth watching.. At least not anymore. Like I've already said, people are being too critical nowadays, and chances are that most shows in the sixes(airing recently) are actually more watchable than the rating suggests. |

We should dissociate ourselves from such a flawed mindset. |
Go ask someone that does analytic reviews or any other anime website out there and they will tell you otherwise. A show that score a 6/10 doesn't not necessarily means that is bad. Take for example a class test: if you somehow end up getting a D-/D+ does that mean that is bad grade? well kind of, but still a passing grade right? same thing can be say while scoring a anime. I honestly feel like people in mal are forgetting numbers like 4, 3, 2, 1 which a technically bad, heck! there's even occasions to where I get PM from folks complaining because I scored a show with a 7/10 as if 7/10 is a bad score. -Mastergold |

| Scores are typically all subjective but if I was to describe one, a 6/10 anime, it would be something that succeeds more than it fails. For example, Angel Beats had fantastic art direction, great dialogue and outstanding execution in a couple of scenes that made me shed a tear or two but the character and themes were never explored to an adequate depth and was very rushed which made for little impact and an unsatisfying finale. Lots of bad, but way more goods, basically. |

| It depends on many assets that has anime such as: unique line, interesting characters, the story that is captivating, saying any anime maybe something to make up for being able to have these 6/10 (whether it is worth, yes and no) |

| Well, I rate based on a school scale A-F, so a 6/10 for me is about a D grade anime. It doesn't completely fail as a series, but has many short comings keeping it from being a "good" series. |
| pretty much as mal says, fine. i won't really watch anything lower than a 5 unless i am very board though, i tend to look for 7++ except when it comes to some type of harem ecchi, i seen some with low scores i enjoyed but i never listen to reviews for the most part, everybody is different and there are tons of harem/ecchi haters out there so i completely ignore those people when i see those posts/reviews as i enjoy those types of shows. |
