| Oh man, this episode was fantastic. Seeing the characters get so worked up about potentially failing their exams and ended up being determined to study hard was great. Hinata and Kageyama ended up asking Tsukishima for help on studying. Kageyama speaking really softly and Tsukishima making him repeat it louder was hilarious. xD Kiyoko's so beautiful, really like seeing her more in this episode. Her smiling at Hinata's 'yes, no' was really nice. :D I really liked how they had a voiceover on the questions that they were practicing for. Nishinoya with his memes, too good! Tanaka's sister, Saeko, appearing was really cool too. Tanaka's relationship with her is just like a typical sibling relationship where they just annoy each other. :P Oh man Hinata's little sister is pretty cute too. Best part of the episode was Hitoka Yachi's official appearance in the series! Yachi acts so shy and nervous which makes her really adorable. Hinata and Kageyama asking her for help to study was perfect. I loved that scene so much, just Yachi, Kageyama and Hinata. Yachi's reactions are so great; oh man I really like her character a lot already. Hinata's going to be the Little Giant, chyeah! Yachi judging people solely for their appearance and then quickly apologising is pretty funny but really shows how kind, apologetic and shy she is.Hinata saving Yachi from the ball hitting her was so cool. The OST that played during this scene got me hyped. Just seeing them practice is so hype. Yachi became captivated by their determination was really nice and now she wants to do her best too. I laughed so hard at Tanaka and Nishinoya's reaction to Kiyoko and Yachi's 'girl talk'. Looking forward to the practice match next episode! Really loving the girls in this series. <3 5/5 |

| It's been so long I forgot how much I loved this series. This episode was especially good. Loved the cute comedy..oogling girls <3 Learning english and juxtaposing that with how easy it is to memorize volleyball signals. Everything was perfectly executed. Forgot what I was missing. |
| Yas, my girl Yacchan was introduced. She plays a really interesting role as a character who knows nothing of volleyball, opening her up as a venue for the viewer to learn more about the plays. On top of that, look how excited Kiyoko is to have her own kouhai manager! We got a look at Saeko too, one of two siblings to be introduced this season! Noya confirmed as meme-loving trash. |

| Kiyoko is my bias. I love megane-karas especially if they're hot girls. I love the new manager, she's so cute. Whenever varsity players face problems with their grades and failing, I always remember Sakuragi Hanamichi from Slam Dunk and Rukawa Kaede with their failing grades and Gori tutoring them at his house. |

| Am I the only one who listened to the preview of the next episode hundred times?? Noyacchi and Ryuu-tan, you dorks!>< Also it's always a bit strange when a character who rarely had a long line before starts to talk A LOT. So there is always this "Did she have such voice?" or "Did he talk like that?" kinda moment ;D I felt the same with Yamaguchi in the last season when he came to ask Shimada to coach him, but maaan, Kiyoko-san, please talk more! Me needs your voice!-) |

| UGH, Yachi man! Cutest little addition to the Karasuno team! Great to see her animated [That VA is perfect for her]. Also Tsukishima being his usual self was great. |

Btw this "meme" thing is actually quite obvious translator's mistake. Yojijukugo are (mostly) idiomatic compounds consisting of 4 kanji (characters), so they are far from memes. It's just that basically you can call ANY four-character compound a yojijukugo, no matter the meaning. And Noyassan particularly likes to choose flashy but less meaningful ones. And, well, tripod handstand IS cool. Just stop calling it a meme, please, I beg you XD |

| loved it. i just love how each episode the animation gets better also does anybody ship hinata and the new girl (im sorry i forgot her name >m<) ever since this episode started? i also wanna comment how cute hinata was being all inspired to join the tokyo games and how he loves volleyball so much >w< |

| Aah, the obligatory "star sportsman, horrible student" episode! I knew there would be one sooner or later! I was half-expecting them to pull out a pencil and roll their way to the next tournament through sheer dumb luck, but I guess passing one third of the exams is enough to warrant a ticket to the next stage in Haikyuu. lol. I'm interested to see what type of style the next team plays. |

| Cool. We're getting more female characters this season. Or, at least they seem to have more presence in the show. Yachi's great. She's like a female Hinata. |
| Good episode, it was so funny. Tsukishima is always teasing Kageyama and Hinata. I like the bond between Hinata and Kageyama, they support each other and tease . Yachi is cute, I think she will become manager for the third season. |

I wanna be friends with her, and than slowly harbor one-sided feelings for her only to find out that it is actually two-sided, date, marry- ahem. I apologize. Also, Kiyoko talks and smiles so much, all thanks to her! I love this duo, oh my God. Also Yachi x Hinata <3 But really, Yachi is too cute! And her seiyuu is perfect! |
