Are they having problems with this season? It's apparently the same exact special/interview they aired a few weeks ago, too. They could have at least done something different...

This one did not work out so perfectly, the mushi were a gift and a cruel curse at the same time. Teru must have had a lonely life.

This week no episode 8?
But it's important to remember that a movie review is subjective;it only gives you one person's opinion.

It doesn't matter if you like LoGH,Monster etc.If you are a jobless or college/school dropout living in your mom basement, you are still an unintelligent loser. Taste in anime does not make you a better person. If elitist don't exist, casual pleb and shit taste also don't exist.

Such a beautiful episode.

Also noticed that Teru was voiced by Yoko Hikasa. That was a treat.

Ginko must have felt really relatable with Teru, being force to move often and all.
I was really hoping that they might travel together even if for only one episode.

Ah rain, my favorite weather. Teru is one of the more interesting characters so far. I felt so bad when Yasu's hand went limp. I thought he was going to die for sure but I'm glad he survived.

When Ginko told her she would have to wait until the Mushi's life span ended I was prepared for the worst. I was imagining it would take 500 years or something but luckily it sounds like it shouldn't be much longer then a few years at most.

I'm glad to know that Teru will have a normal life soon. In the meantime I think it's awesome how she helps bring happiness and good weather across many villages.

Beautiful episode. Rain, just enough to be salvation, more than enough causes devastation.

Poor Teru, she can't even shed a tear for the lives lost.
I don't think she should be blamed for taking any lives because it's just like what Ginko said, it was not her fault at all, neither it was amefurashi's fault (the rainmaker mushi).

She has to travel alone till the amefurashi inside her weakens and die of natural cause but she gladly accepts this reality later.

By the way, is THIS the "Tale of Mushi" or something that was in the Preview of episode 6?

Aha, a person who can see when it will rain.

I'm not if it was mentioned before (it probably was), but I wonder in what time period it's all happening since Ginko's clothes seem rather like what we wear nowadays.

I guess that wherever she goes rain will follow and it will start pouring down.

Poor Yasu... he almost died there...

I was right to think that puddle was something else...

At least her mushi will die off eventually. Ginko is "cursed" to keep wandering for all eternity. Unless he feels like taking root in Mushi Town.

Isayama Hajime should be awarded The Manga with The Highest Inconsistencies of Characters' Appearances.
He keeps performing multiple plastic surgeries on those Shingeki No Kyojin characters in a SINGLE chapter.
Yes, I've read up to the latest chapter of Shingeki No Kyojin manga.
Forced myself to read through the kidsketching chapters after the anime's ended. At least from now on, I only have to go through the hell once a month.
Patiently awaiting SNK TV/movie/OVA anime-sequel.
The 2015 SNK live-action movie would probably suck.

This, and episode 2 (The Warbling Sea Shell) are my favourites of this season so far. This one was beyond gorgeous. I have a real affinity with the rain so this episode touched me pretty deeply.

"Once the rain stops and real tears can be shed, I will put down roots. Until then, with the rain by my side, I will continue to drift like the clouds."

Hearing her say that along with that music at the end. Oh god. ;_;

I found Teru really beautiful - more so than the girl from the last episode, in fact. I can't quite put my finger on why... something about her was so charming.

Beautiful episode as always. It's weird - this season has been full of those plodding episodes that have no true resolution and lack an emotionally gripping tragic ending, the kind of episodes which were my least favorite in the first season, yet I somehow find myself enjoying them more in this season than the last.

Gah I love this series so much. The soundtrack is truly something special. Teru's narration at the end atop the music was so chilling.

Heavy and continuous rainfall, along with other factors like humidity and mosquito growth, creates a situation of widespread mosquito-borne disease, and is correlated with a high number of deaths from fevers.

Absolutely beautiful episode. Just so many beautiful moments... I teared up.

Like that moment when rain fell on Teru's face and looked like a teardrop, with her subsequently being wistful about being able to cry again in the future. Reminded me of (Fullmetal Alchemist spoiler)

Not sure why she still thought of it as a curse when she's helping so many people with her rain. Granted she can't stay in one place for too long but still, pretty dam handy. Wonder if it snows wherever she goes during the winter xD

I liked Teru. Liked the concept of rain this episode. The woman was already doing well at coping with her condition, and Ginko just gave her a push. The only thing he could add was, she was saving far more lives than the ones which were lost 'cause of her (when in reality, it wasn't even her or the mushi's fault, as Ginko says) I'd say it was a far greater blessing rather than a curse. I am rather worried what they'd do once the mushi dies ('cause lack of rain) but at least Teru would be able to cry. That would be nice. Actually, I wanted to see her cry this episode ('cause such a powerful scene) but I am both surprised and glad they didn't use it. It's refreshing in it's own way. They left it at our imagination in the form of her monologues. Beautiful.

Another amazing episode, for now Teru will have to keep going from place to place, but I'm sure one day she will be able to live calmly, without the rain going after her.
