| awesome awesome awesome awesome awesome ' Bones = <3 in 2008 not only did soul eater become awesome, but even this is pure gold. i had to kill my firefox in order to play the HD version without any lag... and thankfully, it worked, and now, i can enjoy the episode without having to get a new PC. the animation was top quality (expected from BONES). the character design was awesome (eureka 7 was what it reminded me of sometimes). the setting is pretty interesting. and the characters are just love. haru is cute the voice actors did a superb job. i don't know what else to say. i am just too impressed. the OP and ED grew on me faster than i thought, i love it. |

| I'm sold. That was some great animation work by Bones again. Loved the setting, it reminds me of Last Exile. Also, Nakiami's flying machine (though it is based of Nausicaa's) looks like Spike's one. Maybe a cross over? |

| Holy pasta! This is bloody great, what a surprise! From the animation, music (can't go wrong with a Boom Boom Satellites intro) to the character designs and acting, it all screams quality. I was worried what would replace Code Geas R2 and and Macross Frontier this season after their close, I now have my substitute! |

| This is one of those shows with lots of boring military and school life, except without being boring about it. And quickly turns into something not boring. That is, as soon as the white haired girl appeared. I don't know who she is, but I love her. I hope she's not dead. |

There is just so much awesomeness in this episode, not just the animation. The OP and ED were great. Large cast of characters. Setting looks solid. Everything is done very well. |

| Holy SHIT the production values!! The complete lack of CGI or cheap direction on all the complex objects, shots and movements is sorta weirding me out. I'm so used to the usual corner-cutting but there was absolutely NONE of that here. They honestly seem to even almost make a point of animating as many movements as possible. It's so refreshing. Sasuga Bones. Really liked this first episode. Dunno how the rest of the show will be, but this was at least great. There seems to be a very colorful cast of characters, with fun characterization, and some great mystery. It doesn't seem like anything especially new or unique, but it's very snug and enjoyable. And the OP and EDs are so good ahh |
