Heh, the police is still useless in this show. Glad to see Junko get more of her zombie comedic moments.

Glad to see Franchouchou taking a big step forward and taking all the risks to break through. That guitar smash on stage is electrifying! Very entertaining episode.

Well iron Frill certainly won’t be sleeping on Franchuchu anymore after that performance. They snapped. Both with Ai and without her. Junko nailed her guitar performance today. Everyone was worried for no reason as Ai chose her friends in the end and they gained Iron Frill’s respect as their main competition.

Really nice episode. Hope that cop is ok, dude’s been thru so much at this point lmao

Oh boy, the inevitable has come...and the Legendary Tae Yamada still can do percussion like no one else does.

The police are back for even a cameo of the same comedic hilarity found in Season 1, and it still clicks.

Without the solo Ai to perform together with Franchouchou (much less being scouted to be one with Iron Frill from lead Shiori), Junko has a lot to consider under all that immense pressure. Kotaro going all hard-rocking-core with his pure-electric guitar axe against Junko, his words once again SMASH through the heart and soul.

The first big show ever since the EFS bombing in enemy territory, and the metal rock rap is back with Junko's lead, WHAT A SONG through the roof with that guitar smashing spark.

A pure-hearted electrifying SAGA indeed, and a great return to form for Franchouchou. The competition never dies against Iron Frill.

This episode focused more on the idol stuff and drama between two groups, and less comedy in it. Not bad for this eps.

Finally Tae become more useful than ever. She really nailed it becoming a drummer. Wondering when will she wake up. She feels like gaining more conscious now.

And let's not forget Junko broke Kotaro's precious electric guitar. But it's all Kotaro's fault saying break it haha.

That cop is going to die by cardiac arrest soon lol.

Legendary producer didn't expect his guitar to be actually smashed into pieces.

Yugiri episode is still a few weeks away! MAPPA knows the demand.

MAPPA does it. I totally love Franchouchou's performance in this episode. It was a great performance. Kotaro's reaction when Junko unexpectedly smashed his guitar was very funny as well.
Finally, of course, Ai chooses to stay with Junko ehhh... I mean Ai chooses to stay with Franchouchou. Franchouchou, now, is like her family.

This episode was great but that drum solo at the beginning of the performance with Tae-chan was the best, Tae-chan is easily the best girl.

not gonna lie, the show was hovering a mediocre vibe for me but the last 2 episodes really kicked things up a notch. And some surprisingly good 3D moments as well.

The first season was more of a comedy and nothing really was going wrong for the girls, but this season they're showing more drama and showing more of the relationships between these girls!! Also that guitar smash by Junko was incredible xD

Lmao @ Tae's expression. Never thought I would see a zombie that could starve to death. Also lost it when Ai got her arm almost ripped off by Junko. Great episode, the fight is on.

Ah yes, here's exactly what I was worried about last week: lots of time being wasted on the pointless melodrama around Ai being invited to join Iron Frill. There's no way she would ever leave Franchouchou, nor is it possible for her to do so, so the entire first half of the episode was literally a waste of everyone's time that accomplishes absolutely nothing. On top of that, the girls in Iron Frill are so flat as characters that I don't give a damn about their group conflict about the prospect of Ai (re)joining them.

On the flip side, that performance in the second half absolutely killed it, and was probably this entire show's strongest musical number so far. It's certainly an impressive way to prove the point that Franchouchou are more than a serious group and that they are good enough for Ai to be a member of.

F for Kotaro's precious guitar.

"This axe of mine has been fighting by my side my whole life."
Junko: So you're saying it's okay for me to smash it into a hundred pieces?

Honestly when I saw her making her move to smash the guitar all I was thinking was the face poor Kotaro was going to make.

Also would using electricity to make their performances "shine" be considered doping?

And good that that sucky police guy got frightened to near death, trying to pick up on girls is such a sleazy way.

That new rock song they did is my favourite one yet! Such a tuuune! And just to really spoil us they sang the awesome 'Mezame Returner'!

Kotaro might be a weirdo but he's definitely mastered that inspiration speech skill haha He must be a bloody magician with the way he can make the girls look so alive, especially Tae; he takes her from wold zombie to adorable idol - magic!

There was a theory that girls are angels, but I think that was just a visual effect rather than a hint to something.

Franchouchou absolutely killed it with those performances. Talk about range, going from rock to typical idol pop just like that. These girls will surely give Iron Frill a run for their money.

This episode was the most fulfilling of the spring season till now.

Was about music, self-identity,and was fun visually, and great for the plot.

Tae drum solo was simply epic, Junko on the guitar was marvelous.

Poor Tatsumi lost his pal.I hope wasn't a vintage Stratocaster.

The huge improvement over the last season Electric Returner.

Yugiri made a wonderful feast.

So Tae is the Lengendary Drummer or something similar? cool

A little more insight with Kotaro was nice and we're adding (eletric) zombie lore, huh...

I wouldn't say it's better than season one but the good points are vastly different which is awesome considering this may not be able to end on S2.

Franchouchou is back!!!!!!!

P.S, got to love the two metal dudes, there unyielding support to our best zombies is admirable, and that line 'Here we go again!' sums it all up!

Lets rock!!!!!

P.P.S Also noticed the little blue haired girls dad was lining up to get into the show. That was also a really nice touch!

I'm convinced that Kotaro has clones because he is everywhere. Also, I loved his face when Junko broke his guitar because I don't think he thought that she would take his advice literally.
Their performance was amazing, especially when they did their classic song.
I feel like Iron Frill essentially waged war on Franchouchou by naming them as their top competition which really raises the bar for Franchouchou.

Fantastic episode, loved it.

The police humor never gets old, that poor police guy is never gonna catch a break. XD

Kotarou with them epic pep talks. Thrust through the heavens with your shine! Break through!

That intro with Tae on the drums leading into Junko on the guitar was epic, the performance was amazing. Kinda felt bad for the guitar at the end though, poor Kotarou, he never actually wanted her to break the guitar.

I didn't expect to hear an electronic version of Mezame Returner, that was awesome too. Those electricity effects were crazy awesome too. Probably the best episode so far, even beating out the Saki focused episode.

By far the best episode for me. So many highlights of this episode that I just had to watch the performance twice.

The way Tae started with that magnificent drum solo... That had me hyped up for the rest of the performance and it did not disappoint at all. I loved the rap/metal kind of style of the first song, reminded me a bit of Faith no More. To me, that was probably their best song so far, cause it simply fits my tastes the most.

Junko's powerful voice though, that girl knows how to sing. Best moment of the episode was by far Junko smashing that guitar on stage while screaming her longs out and the shocked face of Koutarou was just priceless!!

Ah yes, help Ai get up the stage, but while doing so her arm stretches another meter, cause zombies, that was pretty funny. Loved the moment that they both fell down the stage and Junko doesn't hesitate letting the electricity run through her. Second song was pretty good, not a big fan of autotune, but still loved the effects that was used due to the electricity. I still remember that first perfomance in similar fashion. Good to see it again.

Junko learns confidence this week. I was wondering exactly what they were going to do, because I didn't think mops and buckets wouldn't exactly make a compelling song. Kind of weird only Tae and Junko playing though, figured everyone would be playing an instrument. Regardless, the song was great.

The Legendary Tae Yamada showing exactly why she's legendary this episode.

My only complaint is that they went too over the top with the lighting effects and how they can apparently manipulate them. Went just a little too far with that.

Oh boy, get ready for the cringe next week with a lily episode.

First half was extremely boring due to the usual Idol melodrama stuff but Franchouchou's first performance was more than enough to make up for it. From Tae's impressive drum solo to Junko projecting her powerful voice to fit the according musical genre. First time as the lead and she absolutely killed it alongside Koutarou's precious electric guitar.

By the way, I saw Lily's dad (well, his massive back at least) lining up outside the building to see Franchouchou's performance. Such a sweet detail ♥
