| After their brief break, it looks like Rin and the others finally took their fight against the Illuminati. Gotta love how hyped they made me this episode with the original soundtrack. Rin and Bon make a good team imo even if they don't realize it. Izumo tried to make an escape but the odds were against her. It's also fucking creepy how mad the experiments went. Michael continues to also prove how much of a creep he is. Not going to lie, I think this episode was very tense mostly because of the storytelling revolving Izumo and Rin's squad trying to save her. |

| It's been a minute since we've seen Rin in his full devil form, complete with the ears and all. Behind the surface of the Inari Tourism and Urbanization Project lies a hidden agenda by the Illuminati, gradually undermining the area. Upon learning about Izumo's past from Mike, Rin and the others make their way to Peace Town Inari, believing it to be the entrance to the Illuminati's underground lab. Meanwhile, at the lab, Izumo is escorted to a room where Michael Gedoin awaits for a thorough medical examination. Izumo creates a commotion, summoning Uke and Mike in an attempt to escape. As she flees the underground lab, Shima blocks her path. Just realized why Rin didn't like Shiemi's sandwiches—it's because of those demon-repelling herbs. And that entrance of his, walking in with Kuro like it's no big deal—total badass move, even if it was with Kuro. Lmao. As for Shima, I'm starting to think he's just playing a role. I mean, did he really off Uke and Mike? It's kind of heartbreaking if he did... but if not, then Shima's got some serious nerve. Where was all this bravery when they were up against the Impure King? Anyway, Rin better gear up because those zombies are freaky, especially if they can't be taken down with a simple headshot. And in this eerie darkness, something's definitely closing in on Rin. |

| Either Renzo is naive or he trusts that the others will save Izumo. Ain't no way that ugly bastard is going to let her out of there alive. Thought they'd have a way to seal her powers but what a shame for uke and mike to go out like that. Things won't be the same between Izumo and Shinzo after this for sure. At first I was thinking at 12:50 this is exactly why you have to double tap when killing a zombie but the darn thing got back up. On another note, not this mall having a jingle. Giving me Junes flashbacks XD. |

| Izumo’s escape scene was cool, but sad to watch. It’s terrible to see all those people , now zombies, be a product of Gedouin’s horrifying experiments. :( Rin is going to have to make some hard choices. Lol at Kuro trying to eat the display food. |

| Welp, is this maybe too hard for me? The previous adaptation was nothing like that in terms of despair or extremely despicable characters. Illuminati is worse than Satan, Zombies, a trapdoor with included seperation mechanism, what are these guys doing all the time? Lol at Mephisto not doing his job again, but it's ok he is that kind of character you would forgive. Well when did the foxes ever help Izumo? Mike & Uke are useless and bullied her everytime she needed something. This better and well for everyone except Shima XD and Dr. Creep. |

| I can't wait until someone either smashes Shima's face in or, better yet, kills him for his betrayal and what he has become. I look forward to it quite possibly even more than I'm looking forward to Gedoin's eventual demise. Hopefully both get it as gruesome as possible. |
| This really gotta be bottom of the barrel production/animation quality. I'm genuinely shocked at how poorly the action scenes are storyboarded/directed/animated, despite how little action this season has seen so far. It feels as if there isn't any creativity behind them and rather than actually wanting to animate this they just did it because the publisher pushed it on them. This is a trend and i notice this generally happens with most sequels that come back after a period of hiatus. If this is how we're gonna get Blue Exorcist, then I'd rather not have any more Blue Exorcist. |

| Shoestring production quality. Like they are not even trying lol. Though for what it's worth, the situation has gotten worse, for both Izumo and Rin's party. And little by little, I'm kind of finding Shima really insufferable. At this point, whatever clichéd reasonings they would throw for his actions, that is going to amount to nothing. |

| ep did look pretty low quality in moments. and sucks that shima killed those little inari, and gives me the impression it might still try and redeem him later which will be annoying after that, that or totally back track that those inari are really gone. Izumo is being ridiculous too with her whole mentality, like she learnt the entirely wrong lessons from her ordeal. Being stubbornly un-trusting is one thing, but thinking she can escape on her own and have the capacity to fight shima alone just ended up making the inari have to sacrifice themselves for her. It's not really even about "trust" at that point, she's just being irrational making stupid mistakes/choices. |

How tf did Shima get in front of Izumo lol The animation on those zombies is rough man... Shima is 100% dying right? Even if he decides to leave the Illuminati behind, how? "Oh yeah I killed your two familiars who were essentially brothers for you... Sorry about that" I think Shima's either going to die, or he's just going to escape with the Illuminati somehow by the end of this. |
