| YOSHIDA IS BACKKK I really like the interactions between the war devil and Asa. The dialogue sails naturally. The way how the war devil talks does remind me of how I talk to my friends. Y'know with sassiness and the coolness XD. Denji my boy when will you appear :(( |
| 4/5 Short chapter but still a lot of exposition & layering sprinkled throughout. Fan favorite Squid guy Yoshida is finally back after almost 30 odd chapters and his personal arc already has me intrigued. War devil & Mitaka's dynamic is pretty funny & enticing even though they are complete polar opposites. Our boy Denji is undercover and probably for a lot of reasons which I'm very eager to get into but i can dig the tease Still no confirmation on whether Asa is a fiend or a hybrid but i don't think it's either. I now personally believe she's a stand-alone devil or an irregular fiend like Makima, her horsemen counterpart, who can "claim" a human body, switch personalities with said human or take over completely at will. Makima was never concretely confirmed as being either hybrid or fiend in part 1, so it's very plausible she and Mitaka are just stand-alone devils/irregular fiends with their original names or Mitaka will be if she's completely taken over by the War devil persona. Interestingly, if that's the implication then maybe, just maybe there was a real human Makima just like Mitaka before she got "claimed" over by the Control devil. It's really hard to imagine Makima without those swirly hypnotizing eyes & the absolute chaos that came with it but that could've just been the Control devil persona and we actually never got to meet the real human Makima. Wonder what she would've been like.. Anyways, very excited for the milestone chapter next week |

I seems obvious but I think he figured out that she is possessed by a Devil (after scars appeared) that why he didn't wanted to risk of creating unintentionally any contract. |

| This chapter was fantastic. I think this is the first time we've been presented with an interaction between host and devil and the fashion in which it's written is wicked. If this keeps up throughout the story it's going to be great. Also glad to see Fujimoto's art improving with the advent of having more time on his hands. And hell yeah squid guy (Hirofumi) is back. Looking forward to see him hopefully not die in the near future. |

| Not Yoshida unknowingly rejecting the war devil, what a man. It's only been 2 chapters but I really like the new girl, and the war devil seems really fun as well. Can't wait to see how their relationship plays out. |

| Not really digging it, honestly. Absolutely hate stories when they switch to "new/second protagonist" in the sequel. I mean I will keep reading since Part 1 is such a banger (and cause I like Fujimoto writing that much) but I couldn't care less for this new girl. Yeah, new Devil, sure, whatever. |
| I wonder if CSM will follow Jojo's style of a new protagonist every other part but with better continuation. Since it seems we're gonna be sticking with Mitaka's POV for a while. As for this chapter, lots of set-up. Its good that they both exist in the same body; their dynamic can be developed further. I lol'ed hard when she tried asking Yoshida out. My man is one hella based chad. |

I'm curious how powerful the War Devil actually is because compared to Makima (with all her amassed puppets and contracts) her ability really doesn't seem that strong in comparison and it doesn't really seem like it could ever be that strong even with prep time like Makima had (how useful is making a ton of humans into weapons when you can only wield so many at once), Makima kind of already had a version of her ability just through the Angel Devil. War probably has other abilities and attributes that we haven't seen yet though. With that said I actually would probably prefer that this story didn't follow the typical shounen escalation of power levels and suddenly have War be a much more powerful threat than the powered up Control(Conquest) Devil despite being totally absent previously. |
