Same here, I only watched 4 anime this year too while I watched 20 k dramas this year even though I don't get much time due to my job, atleast my previous job in first half of this year was in day as general manager at hotel but in second half of this year I switched workplace since then my sleep cycle and scheduled got messed up, now somehow managing this schedule.

Which k dramas did you liked most?
spiritdudegamer Sep 28, 11:12 AM
Hmm , i am guessing smthing happened bwteen the teachers when they were kids.
spiritdudegamer Sep 28, 4:18 AM
Nice!! I also love it . What's your opinion on current arc ?
Lavi_kun Sep 27, 7:10 PM
Dorms kinda sounds fun too, welp I have recently changed my job, now at different hotel as night manager. So my sleep cycle has been uno reversed lol.

Same I am also Watching kdramas since the start of this year, rarely watching any anime(mostly new sequels) otherwise i prefer kdramas these days in my free time.

I'm currently not watching anime, unfortunately. I got back from a trip to Egypt not long ago, and I'm still away in my home country till the end of vacation and I've been kinda busy lately, so I'm only watching episodes that were already downloaded on my pc, which happens to be Made in Abyss. So yeah, sorry if my responses are a bit late 😅

But I'm really excited for it ngl.

Honestly, I can go on and on arguing how the series excels at all things eligible for its premise, but I don't want to spoil you one bit. I'll admit, I'm kind of 50/50 on slow-paced stories. Examples like The Promised Neverland, Legend of the Galactic Heroes, and (VN) Blue Archive never clicked well with me due to their inconsistent pacing and directing. But as you said, when there's the right recipe, there's a lot of appeal to be found. Again, some examples like Aikatsu (my 2nd favorite anime, if it wasn't made obvious still) and Ashita no Joe.

I'm really tired of seeing these goddamn "When will [X] get good?" discussions. Like, no offense to literally anyone, but it is one of the most mind-bogglingly pointless rants I've ever seen in my lifespan. If you want to express why you can't be bothered to finish a series for any reason you hold then why not privately discuss it with your friend(s)? But then again, people are people sooo...¯\_(ツ)_/¯. I used to think that Steins;Gate's first half was boringly sluggish until I gave the whole show a re-watch. Yeah, it's slow, but its buildup is very adequate and proof that it's actually fine to unleash drama a bit sooner than usual. All you need to do is pay more attention and maybe do a bit more research (unless you still feel like criticizing the first half, which I guess is fair).

Glad to hear. I've seen some recent claims about how the series is too melodramatic, even for its own standards, and/or how it's unintentionally silly. I can agree with NEITHER of those. I think Umineko has a perfect understanding of patience and uses that to build up and foreshadow stuff, hence why it's meant to be a slow burner. I know that it's a 150+ hour series, but I never see time as a concern (unless a series drags unnecessarily long with certain fundamental issues it holds). Even if I can get bored with a very long story, despite the ever-holding compliments/criticisms, I can just take a break and go back to it when ready, instead of bragging about how something is just long. It's one of the reasons why I personally don't subscribe to the "drop the series for a reason" kind of thing (keyword, "personally").
It’s time to ditch the text file.
