Cute chapter. Nayuta swayed not to join the Devil's side because of her relationship with Denji, and I think that's very sweet. Break next week which sucks but this arc should be getting a lot more interesting hopefully with some Yoru action next time |

Definitely feels like Makima’s upbringing made her worse, but it still feels like that is in her nature with Nayuta. But luckily Denji raised her better. Either way she could change her mind back. Also not sure why Fumiko thought she could take on Denji and Nayuta but she got humbled a bit. Good character driven chapter.

| This chapter is one of the best examples why I love Tatsuki Fujimoto's stories 🤩: Nayuta and Denji are not related by blood, yet they consider one another as family because they understand one another deep down. 😄 The following are the best dialogues/conversations in this chapter that confirms Denji and Nayuta as "family" (for me) ☺️: 1) Denji (to Nayuta): "You really tried to kill [Fumiko] just now, didn't you?" - It goes to show that big brother Denji is trying his best to raise little Nayuta properly; he educates Nayuta in doing the right thing; he gives her education because he didn't go to school; he teaches Nayuta not to kill humans. 2) Nayuta (to Denji): "You just remembered Asa Mitaka, didn't you?" - Nayuta's jealousy is understandable: she wants big brother Denji all to herself. It should only be her that Denji should need/should love. But, when Denji explained, "[Asa Mitaka] and I kissed, and she didn't tried to hurt me.", it is then that Nayuta understood that Denji wants romance in his life as well, and that she shouldn't stop him from obtaining his romantic desires. 3) Nayuta (to Denji): "Fine. I won't kill humans. Now, let's hurry home! Mush!" - Denji loves Nayuta more than any girl who had kissed him. That goes to show Nayuta will agree to any of Denji's request as long as he loves her more. Love and equality are what Makima lacks in her former life as the Control Devil: Makima cannot be loved because as the Control Devil, anybody is always beneath her. As Nayuta, Makima's desires are fulfilled: Denji is giving her all the attention, time, and love that Nayuta needs. And this chapter is a very good example why I love the sibling relationship that Denji has with Nayuya. ☺️ |
