| So an athletic competition...well, interesting to see Ayumu and Urushi working together although they should be more careful not to trip each other. Good to also see Takeru and Mikage animated. I really hope the two gets more screen time this season tbh. Mikage's voice is quite shy and soft though. |

| Well another nice episode tho the first part was pretty competitive with the sports festival. It was funny how he selected his senpai as the cute thing tho. The new couple was funny especially Sakurako who seems to be in control with her hypnotism skill and the feeding part was great. So far this is looking nice. |

| We starting with a sport festival this week, and as expected, the shogi club president is really bad at the physical exercises. But more importantly, the female friend of our heroine, the Maki girl, is packing some serious stuff out there. Tanaka-kun really is my spiritual animal, treating women like objects. Secondary couple for the win. |

| I always love seeing completely random and real manga/anime series featured somehow in other shows, so it was nice seeing Takeru and Sakurako read volumes of "The Fable" together at the library lol. |

| Great episode! Sports festival! Ayumu is pretty good at sports wheras Urushi...not so much. Maki says she feels sick so lets Atumu take her place in the three legged race. They don't do too well xD. Ayumu carries Urushi and wins! Bring back an adorable object?!! And the white team wins! Looking forward to the next episode! |

| Personally, I prefer sport festivals when the cast of characters has already been established. But that's nothing to criticize here. It was just fine segment that followed up with more boldness from Ayumu. An adorable object indeed xD |

| We're only at episode two and it already feels like the shogi is getting swept under the rug to focus on other aspects of the show. Definitely disappointing. Otherwise, there were actually a couple moments that I found amusing, like the hypnosis bit. But, for the most part, I probably would like this show more if it weren't just the same scenes I've seen played out a hundred times before. As a side note, I tried taiyaki that long ago and realized I'm not a fan of bean paste. It's interesting that Tanaka has a potato filled one. I wonder if I would like something like that more. Though it might be a bit starchy. |

| I like how even though she is getting embarrassed all the time, Urushi still takes the opportunities she finds to geet back at Ayumu by teasing him. Each and probably every time from now on it will be to no avail, but at least she tries. And when she actually does get his heart flustered a bit, she's unaware of it. I just like how it isn't entirely monotonous, in the sense that it's simply Ayumu being a chad and then Urushi blushing. Instead it appears that there actually is a bit of back-and-forth, mostly on Ayumu's end of course, but Urushi still does her best to return fire. It's a show about Shogi after all, like any other game they have to take turns. And yeah I'll definitely be looking forward to whenever Takeru and Sakurako come on screen. |

Graduated High School in May of 2022. Summer vacation has finally arrived. I have once again regained the power of a new anime fan, being able to watch multiple anime episodes in a day. Time to binge-watch every single anime I can into the night until college arrives. SADGE. SUPER SADGE... College has begun as of Monday, August 30, 2022, so you won't be seeing me much around these parks. See you on weekends, I guess... School me is back. Sigh! I'll at least try for one anime a day with all this course load. |
| As I thought, the Takeru and Sakurako pairing is amazing, we’ve barely seen much from them but I already love them lol, really liked the hypnotizing bit and the Taiyaki bit at the very end. I also really love Sakurako’s design, super cute and unique, Takeru is a lucky lad lol. And getting a sports festival this early is awesome, a perfect school anime event and it was really good here, lots of good moments from Urushi and Ayumu like the three legged race and the scavenger hunt, my man is already carrying her in episode 2 lol. And Urushi being called a cute object is was hilarious lol. And the last bit where it sounds like Urushi is saying she likes Ayumu was really nice. And it only took an episode but the OP and ED are already slapping hard, I really love them. |

| Urushi really is a Nishikata type in that she always tries to tease Ayumu but it seems to backfire. But boy did she get him good with the Ayumu/knight pawn thing. The taiyaki indirect kiss got him too lol. Loved the part where he lost consciousness for a second because of how happy he was seeing her happy haha. He’s a pretty adorable character! Looks like Takeru and Sakurako are the other potential couple in this. Pretty silly how Takeru gets so easily hypnotized lol. Those two are quite cute together too. That last scene where Takeru fed Sakurako the taiyaki was adorable lol. |

| These sport festivals never fail to show us some over the top stuffs lol. Again it's actually quite hilarious to see Ayumu always retaining his unwavering self. Also be aware of that saimin-jutsu girl( Ν‘° ΝΚ Ν‘°). |

| Ah aren't they all adorable. The OP is growing on me, I'm liking it a lot more after hearing it for the second time. In just one more episode I've started to like our cast a lot, this episode was a huge improvement from the first episode, thoroughly cute, wholesome and relaxing. Even the animation felt good. Very very enjoyable episode. 5/5 episode and looking forward to next one. Already gonna rate this anime 8/10. If the same quality is maintained until last episode then it's an easy 10/10. |

| Looks like this’ll be a fun show! Last season had Aharen-san and while the character dynamic is very different, I’m getting similar positive and chill vibes from this. Adorable object, lol. And his justification for the “object” part was hilarious, poor senpai needed some time to process being labelled that. Taiyaki scene was nice too, looks like the feelings are starting to ooze out more from the MC by the episode. I can’t wait for the penultimate confession! How nice when there’s a side couple too, I’m hoping to see more of that side too! Op sung by Hanazawa Kana-san, of course that’s a plus on my books xD. |

| I loved each and every single second of this episode. Everything was so perfect. Senpai Urushi is more and more adorable, and I really liked the new supporting characters: Sakurako and Takeru are just too funny and Maki is lovely as hell. I'm already diabetic, so I have plenty of insulin ready for lovey dovey anime like this π |

| Great episode, improved over the first one. Urushi is so cute when she blushes which was most of her screen time, adorable object indeed lol. We got introduced to 3 new characters, Maki and a couple. Really like the art-style of the characters, foreheads and all. Maki gave me vibes of Mokuren, a super cute character from same creator, In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki. Enjoying this rom-com/SoL π |
| It's only Episode 2, yet the sports festival came so fast lols. As per usual, Tanaka impresses even to the other classmates, while Urushi...is just the complete opposite and a failure on just about every part. And while Maki closes in on her best friend's antics, to make the Shogi Club more known, more members to suffice will sacrifice his alone time with Urushi, and man, brofist to Tanaka, I feel your ambition. Didn't expect to have Tanaka's childhood friends Takeru and Sakurako show up early in the anime, but definitely will have them more going forward. That said, Tanaka's easily the MVP of his team, even a scavenger hunt where Urushi is carried princess style...for an adorable object? That definitely counts...while Takeru got the real deal. Wow, that said, seeing The Fable on scene is just wild, and Takeru is easily manipulated with Sakurako in the library club by hypnosis. Both Tanaka and Takeru are basically the same guys joining clubs for their sole partners, and Takeru fulfilling the role as a ghost member will do, being happy for her sake. Lols, literally sharing an indirect kiss with the Taiyaki while discussing about Takeru's inclusion as a ghost member and playing portable Shogi outside, plus an indirect confession too, what are the odds of both blushing and being cutely attacked lols. An improvement of an episode. |

| I already like their dynamic a lot. The way he brought her in his arms when asked for an adorable object was really adorable. On the other hand, the dynamic between his childhood friend and that other girl is pretty messed up, what with the way she hypnotizes him without his consent. |

| Urushi's friend is a good wingwoman. Ayumu's friend got the actual note the bring back his crush and couldn't go through with it. Ayumu got the note to bring back an adorable object and princess carried Urushi without a second thought. ghost member, so Urushi gets her club officiated, Ayumu still gets to be alone with Urushi and Ayumu's friend remains with the library girl. oop indirect kiss So he shares his name with a Shogi piece. |

| This is really speeding through the manga chapters pretty fast if the first ep wasnt showing that already, honestly probably a smart move the early parts of this series are pretty basic but once the side character all get thrown in the series changes pretty drastically and largely for the better, Imagine the people saying this is similar to takgai will lessen as it goes on cause looking back on it, they really arent. |

Ayumu carried the white team (and Urushi) Wait people can actually use hypnosis like that in this world?? XD That was a pretty cute episode. 1 more member is needed to make the shogi club an official club I think Shikamaru would have been Urushi's rival in this world lol. |

| Tanaka has it bad for Urushi. When he carried her to the finish like, I couldn't help itπ. I'm still confused if she likes him back though, or like him the way he does her. Sakurako and Takeru are a fun duo. They would make an interesting couple, mainly how she hypnotizes him. |
