| I don't think Medical Genre in anime attracts me that much ... I can watch the genre in other medium like k-drama if I want... And that would be better... In my opinion |

Though if i am really in mood to watch medical genre, i would watch more than accurate references. So i will not really look for it in anime medium per say. Sure if they make great passage like anime (but about medical workers), i will be all for it. But i dont think that kind of anime will come in anime medium |

| It's a very rare genre, I doubt there are that many more even if untagged. There's an infinite amount of live action adaptations on the hub though... |

| dr blackjack was quite a success i guess. I think it's more on the educational side so definitely tricky to make it interesting. I like science subject so if we get more science experiment in isekai like a different senku would be fun for me. |
| The only ones I somewhat cared about and watched were the cells at work, since you learn something from them at least. Maybe you do in the others, I don't know, but medical topics don't interest me in general. High stakes is another theme which has around the same amount. 36 of them on MAL and I've watched almost all of these. |

| Personally I think it's really hard to get right unless a lot of love and care and research and experience are put into it, that's why I feel the anime- and medical shows too in general don't work. Black Jack as a manga is appealing because Tezuka had experience in the subject which added a believability and actual medical backdrop to the work as well as the pretty groovy anatomical art in it. As someone who doesn't think any of the black jack anime even get that right, I don't care really care to see more medical anime because even for something like the staple of medical manga they can't adapt them great. But stuff dealing with the morality of medical practice I definitely want to see more of, like Monster. I'll remain positive but it takes a clinical perspective a lot of time I think to actually make a medical series work and when a lot of shows do it it just comes off as corny. That being said, Kuuchuu Buranko was also good, on the subject of medical tagged stuff |

I was just about to post that! I didn't know medical genre was a thing but I started watching Isekai Yakkyoku the other day and it had a good 1st episode, definitely going to keep watching it too. |

| It's not surprising, considering that "Medical" tends to involve adult doctors and nurses in a workplace environment, and a large percentage of anime involve kids or teenagers at school. Though if they added the tag to the many hospital/clinic-setting hentai out there, you'd see that number increase a fair amount. |

| To me, "MONSTER" is not a medical anime, but a MYSTERY genre. There are several interesting manga with medical themes, but more often than not they are adapted into live-action dramas than into anime. |

| It's definitely not a popular topic in the world of anime. It'd be very nice to have more series specifically about the work of doctors or nurses, and their lives outside their working places. Black Jack is more fun, it's Tezuka. U probably might be looking for it at wrong places. Just recently I watched Chinese drama called you are my hero which does had pretty decent amount of medical stuff and situation even though it's not fully medical drama. while my field is not medicine exactly (it's dentistry). I have worked in casualty and omfs ward for a year. I can say for sure there are plenty of medical drama i have seen which I feel have pretty decent amount of medical cases representation with certain amount of accuracy. Infact even black jack has a drama (though don't know how it is because I have not seen it). |
