| Damn, Musashi and Kojirou got beat by another team on the mission but I wouldn't feel too bad. They did try their best after all even if they missed heir first place prize. Takeda and his team is no pushover, especially their leader. He seems like a cool guy though, with witty sense of humor. This episode also affirms that Musashi has a lot more to learn but also with tons of potential. |

| Hopefully now that Musashi knows his level and direction, the show can do anything to stand out while fleshing out more of the cast and the dangers of the Kishin themselves, since this was the most basic, underwhelming introduction to a shounen anime that I've seen in a while. Even Black Clover for how basic it was, had Asta's bad voice acting early on to stand out. This episode wasn't as bad as the first two but the way it flowed and Musashi's character as a whole here felt really scripted and plagiarised rather than inspired by its counterparts. Not much of a fan of Takeda either, he gives me some Sinbad vibes from Magi for some reason (although I'm rewatching Magi and don't necessarily love Sinbad either). Kind of a weird deal that is. Action was really underwhelming as usual. |
| Musashi thought he's handle the Kishin alone, but it's clear from Takeda's Bushi band that teamwork is needed to bring it down. Nevertheless, Musashi's REALLY determined that his calling of a Bushi is warranted, and this is only given to the one who defeats the Kishin 1st. As well as Musashi and Kojiro did on their tag-team, Takeda stole their coup de grace thunder mark. Takeda Naotora wants to change the face of the Bushi, many whom have wandered away but leaving those with resolutions in their hearts to free Hinomoto. The way I see Musashi and Takeda's relationship ain't so much as compared to Aladdin and Sinbad, probably more shallow even at the very beginning. Nevertheless, with the help of the Takeda Band, both Musashi and Kojiro are able to progress baby steps by learning the history of the Kishin, and the Bushi's mission to eradicate all Kishin and unify the world. I've heard that from here on the manga slowly took off, and as an anime-only, I'm half looking forward to see what Shinobu Ohtaka has in store. One thing's for sure: this 3-episode rule finishes the prologue of Orient, and onto the main story we go, to the outside world. |

| I'm literally not feeling anything for characters, nothing. Didn't even feel bad for them when Musashi's and Kojiro's first kill was stolen. It was pretty lame that they had to cut the oni's penis off to kill him, not cool to attack on such a weak point. Musashi's pretty immature and always let's his emotions take over him, I'm not liking him at all. This anime is getting wasted due to the story, it's not terrible like the other animes airing this season but it's not great either, it's just enough to keep me watching but I'm not feeling much for the characters, it's been 3 episodes and I'm not feeling attached to any characters now. This anime's got great animation and the OP, ED are absolute fire but story isn't presented in a more captivating way and feels a bit too generic. Though I would like to add that this episode was better than the last two. I was finally happy that they showed the girl from the OP and ED and the episode just ended there :( Gonna rate this a 6/10 for now, let's see how it turns out. For now this anime is just good enough to not wanna make me drop it. |

| Well the other bushi team stole his 1st kill xD but at least he got that tool to see the Oni... seems like they'll really need to eradicate the kishin to unify the country, it's the real start of their journey, and the other main girl will join them soon |

| This anime is pretty boring for now, I hope that with the arrival of that character that was shown at the end of the episode that will change. |

| This episode was a little bit better than the previous two has been in my opinion. Even so at this point this show is lucky if it does not fall under a 6/10 average score. |

| Great episode! Musashi is really determined to kill that Kishin-much more than Kojiro it seems. He is a lot braver also. He and Kojiro got their first kill stolen from them but they got a consolation prize which seems to detect where oni are! Looking forward to the next episode! |

 This anime might be on to something here. Three episodes in I couldn't give two shits about any characters or the story. Things could be interesting with regards to the setting and story direction, but they've somehow managed to execute everything in the most boring manner possible. It seems that chick will be introduced next episode, the last hope in an otherwise terrible fantasy. Amazing that this is the same dude that made Magi. Talk about night and day. |
| Zoned out not even halfway through the episode. I know that the real adventure is just beginning but... I just can't. There's way better choices in terms of story and action to watch this season; not going to add something that feels half-assed to the watch list. I did drop Magi awhile back as well, but remembering how good it looked and how promising its adventure story was, it makes me want to go back and finish it. Which I will, eventually. For now, going to drop Orient here. It's not terrible, it's just overwhelmingly meh- which I guess does makes it terrible in a sense |

| Well, a lot of info dump this episode has been done via those bushi scroll and the talks with those bushidan leader. The leader really had a strong sword and really different from Musashi. I wonder when Musashi and Koujirou had their better sword. Musashi ended up being annoyed, and its actually pretty understandable for shounen type of show. At least he know the big objective in front of their eyes, defeating all oni and united the whole country. Very big dream, but its sure lead them to the whole nice adventure ahead. Yeah, finally the green-haired girl appear next. Can't wait to see her role.... |

| I thought it was an okay episode. Not a fan of both MCs I do like the OST on the episode and so far got some pretty solid VA It looks like it's gonna get better. Looking forward to the other episode! |
