| Some of you people are nuts. Donuts have always been a dessert. The ONLY reason people (sometimes) eat it in the morning is because of its association with coffee. And since most people drink coffee in the morning (to WAKE UP, not necessarily because it’s morning food either) ...a donut is many times accompanied with it. Honestly sucks there isn't any homemade donut shops in Australia like there are in the US, in the US in just about every town you can find one to four donut shops usually always run by an Asian family that start cooking them at 3am and open at 5am which is perfect before work. Australia though? Haven't found any, overall Australian deserts are far too close to their English counterparts. |

Breakfast should be protein - lots of protein. Eating donuts will do you no favor when it comes to having energy for the rest of the day. They should be considered a treat rather than a meal.  |
