When I think back on the sheer number of people who have been killed by Truck-kun, I cannot help but wonder if these are the actions of a friend or a foe. The answer may seem obvious to most, but consider this: While It is true that countless innocents have been slaughtered under the wheels & bumper of Truck-kun, it could be argued that, because most of those people are now leading much better lives in more fantastical worlds, their deaths were actually blessings in disguise.

Did Truck-kun kill those people out of some sadistic desire to feel the sensation of blood in the treads, or is Truck-kun a benevolent force that only seeks to send people to a brighter future? Perhaps Truck-kun is a vehicle of neutrality, indifferent to the plights of those in the mortal realm, and/or even simply a product of what was, what is and what will be...

Thoughts?

A truck doesn't really have a will logically speaking so I don't think it could have made that choice lol, even considering anime/manga/LN logic, that'd still be pushing it..^^'>

Evenif their lives are better in their fantasy harem, the despicable vilain known as truck kun denies people the right to choose and makes a lot of people grieve for the loss of a loved one. Truck kun should be ashamed.

Still waiting for an isekai where the mc dies and gets reincarnated as Truck-kun. We need his point of view to answer this discussion.

Those who died don't really consider "truck-kun" as Supervillain. If they do, then make them regret by sending them back to their world.

Truck-kun: Maker of Superhero.
Well, i am more interested in the the superpower of Harem & "Steal", given to KAZUMA.

Might at be perhaps possible, that truck-kun is actually controlled by the soul of someone who died and failed to become a isekai protagonist...? In that case it might really be an act of revenge... Then again, he might try to give a chance to others, which he failed to use himself... Damn, this is truly complicated.

last time I saw truck-kun in action was in hakomari volume 7, I say killing a few people to save your beloved makes you a good character, but keep in mind that is very hard to run people over, those bastards keep running away and the truck is slow, you have to be skilled to efficiently kill them

Truck-kun normally gets the couple I want together and kills off the nasty rivals so Truck-kun is my hero, I'd say. xD

He is a villain when it's the protagonist or parents he kills though :(

I was watching Girly Air Force earlier and at episode 10 the MC got pushed while running at night on a bridge, just as Truck-kun arrived. I laughed because for a split second I actually thought the MC was going to be isekai'ed :D So I guess Truck-kun can miss his mark aswell :p

Truck kun is the ultimate anti hero throughout the anime universe, not a hero OR anti-hero, here is a quick explanation:

While people are still debating whether Goku can beat Saitama or vice versa, or other topics like if Light Yagami is justice or not, Truck kun is already 4 parallel universes ahead of them.

The amount of people that Truck kun has successfully isekaied is immeasurable, in other words he saved thousands of innocent lives from our modern society that is beyond cruel.

Let's use Kazuma from Konosuba as an example.

Before he got isekaied and met useless, minecraft tnt and horny, he was a shut in. After Truck kun "blessed" him, he found the new meaning of life. Unlike him before, wasting his life away, now he is enjoying his life and setting up goals for his bright future.

But why is Truck kun an anti hero and not a hero? Because Truck kun would usually "bless" others by accident, that means Truck kun didn't do the "blessings" from the depths of his heart. An anti hero does good things with his/her own benefits while a true hero does things sincerely without any personal benefits. You see, if Truck kun actually went up to people and "blessed" them intentionally with a kind heart, then Truck kun's driver would go to jail and Truck kun would be left there alone in the garage.

I find this thread a troll thread because how dare you ask a question like this?! Do people like you seriously question Truck kun's great contributions to our cruel modern society? Even though Truck kun is still the greatest anti hero of all times, I would personally consider him as a bright and helpful hero.

"Truck-kun" is just a way for the writer to throw the MC into another world without really thinking of a legitimate way as to why he was transported there. Its just the "go-to" trope that so many isekai writers copy from each other for whatever reason. They could literally do anything else, but you know... people lack creativity and are lazy.

Was he not forced into constant misery and extreme poverty throughout that overrated pile-o'-garbage? If anything, such an example would be evidence of villainy, not heroism. Regardless, I would have preferred Kazuma just stay dead...

My theory is that Truck-kun is the result of aggregation of the souls of all anime fans who died with unrealistic dreams(wishing their waifu is real, being in an anime world,..etc) which ended up becoming an entity that gets attracted to other anime fans with similar desires and grants them
