Ever since I watched "Koisuru Asteroid:, I found myself enjoying that super relaxed Anime and it seems very welcomed from the high action and super dramatic series. There is something very enjoyable seeing those characters do simple things in life and feels very appreciative. Also, another series that I'm following is "Houkago Teibou Nisshi" and it's as enjoyable as the other series that I mentioned. Those series are so light-hearted that do nothing but give you a smile and glad that almost every season has one of those. Also, if you want to recommend more for me from other seasons, be free to do so and what do you think of them, in general? Do you like them, enjoy them or don't really bother with them? Yeah, what's your take and are you following any of them, at this moment? |

Not a big fan of them. I'm more of a shonen freak. The more over-the-top something is the better. |

Do you mean the Slice of Life genre? Honestly, not really my cake. If it's pure Slice of Life anime, I got bored easily when there is almost no story to tell. Unless they added a little mix to the story like a comedy, drama, or a little romance, like K-ON, SKET Dance, Tenki no Ko, Violet Evergarden then sure I can watch this. |

There are some many relaxing scene from anime. Especially Slice of life anime with magnificent soundtrack. That scene where you can say "I wish that was me" or "I wish i was there", "iii na". Or anime with a good family story like Fairy Tail and game Granblue Fantasy. I reccomend Kino no Tabi, Made in Abyss, Barakamon too. |

I've always considered that relaxing Slice of Life anime to be a little slow, but nonetheless it was still good and a change of pace from my normal watching habits. I'd say 2 that I would recommend which I've watched are LuckyβStar and Non Non Biyori. They are both laid back and relaxing, while still keeping your interest. feelsbad 30 seconds after someone else commented both of these |

Definitely one of my favourite types of anime I watch, perhaps my favourite type of SOL. I also want to recommend Yuru Camp (which is very similar to Koisuru Asteroid), Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge, Sunohara-sou no Kanrinin-san, and New Game! (New Game! follows an actual plot unlike 2 other anime listed). |

I love slice of life, just being able to lay back and relax while enjoying a calm and relaxing story feels very peaceful. simonitro said: Also, if you want to recommend more for me from other seasons, be free to do so and what do you think of them, in general? It's a hit or miss genre for me. I've watch a good amount of it and I've dropped a lot of it too. I do found the peacefulness to be soothing but sometimes it could be just boring. I think it depends more on the theme of the SOL anime whether I'll find it entertaining or not, like in the case of Koisuru,I'm not that interested with astronomy so it's simply just an uncomfortable show to me rather than being relaxing. Stuff that I did enjoyed was Non non Biyori, Tanaka-kun, Yuru camp, Barakamon, etc. |

lmao hell yeah. All of my 10/10's are either slice of life or iyashikei anime. Which is just were nothing but relaxing happens. I like them, but if I love all the characters like in Hakumei to mikochi, or Natsume yuujinchou? I love em. |

These cute Slice of Life anime are so relaxing to watch and just perfect to watch an episode or two perhaps after a long and hard day of work. Don't forget K-On!, Anima Yell, Anne Happy, Endro~!, Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka?, Kiniro Mosaic and several others. There are so many of them you could enjoy. Also feel free to drop by Cute Girls Doing Cute Things club & the Comfy Camp Club. We got you covered. ;-) |

there is already enough relaxing episodes on battle shonens like the beach episodes or the slice of life episodes so thats enough for me dont want to watch a dedicated anime for that although those iyashikei anime "healing shows" is good for mental health therapy they say |

I think relaxed anime is like a fresh breath of air, after all the other genres you watched. I started to enjoy relaxing anime ever since Yuru Campβ³. There's another recommendation it's Tanaka-Kun it's a really good relaxing anime as well. |

It's one of my favorite genres. The upcoming fall and winter seasons are getting some big releases: 3rd season of Gochiusa, 2nd season of Yuru Camp, and 3rd season of Non Non Biyori. So I'd recommend giving those a shot. |

If I had to pick whether I liked them or didn't like them, then I would say I'm generally leaning towards the "liking" side. But it depends on what they're showcasing. Non Non Biyori was really fun to watch whereas Yuru Camp was not fun to watch |

Ah yes, my favorite genre: Iyashikei (ηγη³») is a genre specific to Japanese works, primarily manga and anime. It is a sub-genre of slice of life, portraying characters living out peaceful lives in calming environments, and is intended to have a healing effect on the audience. The word iyashikei means "healing-type" in Japanese. (Wikipedia) I also planned to watch Koisuru Asteroid fyi and I recommend such series like Non Non Biyori, Yuru Camp, Yuru Yuri, Barakamon, K-on and Endro~! I found myself liking them because they have light material and lighthearted. It suitable to watch when you're chilling or taking a break after a hardwork(?) |

I love slice of life, but that type of healing anime is too slow for me in anime form, I still like to see some plot or drama. I like them in manga though, like Yotsuba. |

It's refreshing to have once in a while. I sometimes thought this is the kind of anime people need. Just to relax and not over criticize. Also note that not all relaxed anime can be fun to watch. There are some boring one (maybe a lot). For example I haven't been able to enjoy either Lucky Star and Non Non Biyori. It felt too empty to my liking I guess. I just finished watching Amaama to Inazuma. Pretty cool and chill. Reminds me of Barakamon a lot. And since no one has recommended it here, I'll also put in Minami-ke. Chill and has literally TONS of episodes in comparison to other chill anime. |
if you want good story, read novel. if you want good graphic, read manga. anime is beyond that. |

Relaxing anime for me is when it has this sort of uncanny, eerie mood to it. Not necessarily wholesome 100 yuru camp Iyashikei, but like natsume's book of friends or kinos journey. Man, I haven't finished bartender yet because I end up sleeping halfway through it lol, which in my opinion is a positive lol. I wanna recommend Haibane Renmei to you. Goodness, its the perfect atmosphere to just melt away in. deg said: there is already enough relaxing episodes on battle shonens like the beach episodes or the slice of life episodes so thats enough for me dont want to watch a dedicated anime for that although those iyashikei anime "healing shows" is good for mental health therapy they say beach episodes and the one-off slice of life episodes aren't relaxing I would argue, or at least to the extent of actual "relaxing" anime. The character designs are just so different and aren't compatible with the genre change. For example, the common trope of having a homework episode in sports shounen. There's always that loud stupid one that complains about everything, not exactly relaxing. IDK just my observation. |

Well for me the art, animation, and the story so simple. And the classical music just make it perfect Other than that, I really enjoy Yuru Camp, Flying Witch, Sakura Quest, Hakumei to Mikochi, Natsume Yuujinchou, and Aria. In 2020, only Princess Connect Re:Dive and UchiTama that gives me relaxing vibe |

After completing School days at midnight, I was obviously traumatized. The next day I watched Gotoubun no Hanyome and it was so relaxing and relieved me from my trauma. My first Slice of life anime was lucky star and I just stopped watching it after two episodes LOL. I haven't watched any Slice of life anime so far. But nowadays I watch isekai animes and it makes me feel relaxed. I watch Isekai wa Smartphone to tomo ni at a rate of one episode per day. That's the most relaxing time in my day. Even started watching Death March kara hajimaru isekai kyousoukyoku.I don't even have to think about anything while watching and predict anything because I know what's going to happen before even trying to predict. Isekai animes like these totally relaxing and harem is also there which is awesome. These ANIME'S PLOT IS SO CONVENIENT FOR THE ANIME. So, don't care about anything, watch and relax - That's the thing. |

As long as it's interesting/exciting and funny I will end up liking the anime. That's why I'm fan of "elite" and "casual" shows. But if the story telling is to fast pacing the interested drops. A good example right now would be God of Highschool, the pacing is way to fast so the interested and excitement is not there. As the quality of the story is horse shit. One more bad adaption made by Mappa. https://myanimelist.net/anime/5420/Kemono_no_Souja_Erin?q=erin Please watch this mate if you haven't. It's a really good Slice of Life. |

They're there to laugh your throat out. Hey! Don't tell me you don't even understand what's Slice of Life. Or are just trying to act ignorant. Name i mentioned are all accurately related to it.If you can't relate, then just open up and read the genre. I think you're the only one who see them as mere comedies. Reason-You're the only one who quoted me and fun of yourself. Others already know the fact so they didn't. I know it's not your fault. Many people when they try to see comedy they forget the part that there's also slice of life and mixed up as comedy. Listen:Relaxation usually found in SOL.But it doesn't mean there's only one genre.I don't think there's any with single genre. At least two or more exist. So this time I recommended anime with Comedy and SOL. SOL and Comedy make an anime more interesting and comfortable to watch. If you still don't get it,then you're a complete fool. You need to watch more anime to understand them better. Nichijou is famous for SOL not for comedy. If you still don't get it why not try asking your friends. If my recommendation is correct or you're just being a fool. One more thing Don't text me for every trivial matter. It's really annoying.Don't you get it you're just a nuisance. If you again text me,then you're a complete dork.So think carefully if you wanna be a good boy or just a jocker. Even now,if you text me,I'm not gonna reply anymore, whatever text. |

I absolutely love the iyashikei when they're done right, their relaxing atmosphere is really unique If anyone searches for anime like this, here are my suggestions : Pure and wholesome stuff with no drama : - Non Non Biyori - Yuru Camp - Usagi Drop - Barakamon (even though it has some minor serious moments, and one arc part in the manga) - My neighbour Totoro - Ponyo - Kiki Relaxing but with some serious or tearjerker moments : - Mushishi - Natsume Yuujinchou - My roommate is a cat - Hinamatsuri Relaxing in their own way, with a really unique atmosphere : - Kino no Tabi - Haibane Renmei - Girls Last Tour Bit more generic/average but still enjoyable : - Sewayaki Kitsune Senko-san - Hitoribocchi Haven't watched them yet but they fit the description : - Aria - Udon no Kuni - Flying Witch - K-On! - School Babysitters - Hakumei and Mitochi - Tamayura - Is the order a rabbit ? I wish there were more anime in that specific genre though, especially in different kinds of environments |
