Haruno really is a charming character.

Ah yes, Iroha and her personality return. She's already bringing in that personality of hers from I remember from the previous season. That hug to Yukino lol..

Yui's scenes were pretty cute and she even finds something behind Yukino's stuffed animal.

Sister agrees on helping out w. what Yukino wants to do regarding to their family matter. Touyama-san's character helping out w. moving in to sister's house.

Wow... sister telling to main guy about not able to get drunk... does that mean giving up on hope in life is hard to get drunk?

It seems like student council rep girl wanting to hold prom and is watching a drama about it. She wants to be a prom queen, and everyone was against it. Yukino even said she already qualifies as one. Do now or never, huh.

Touyama-san's character saw the photo of Yukino and main guy went to the amusement park while helping out w. packing.

I prefer Hachiman to pay more attention to Haruno than the others, can anyone guess Haruno's words, Is it just my feeling that Haruna's oppai get nerf?

Isn't that abuse, lol. Any drama won't make Hachiman cry. Promises between girls are sweet, Yukino-senpai. Yuigahama began to realize that she had been left behind by Yukino.

The vibe/atmosphere changed so much when Iroha appeared, how have I not noticed her being such a mold breaker, more so than Yui ever was when Yukino and 8man were being edgy air heads haha.
Man Iroha stole the 2nd ep so much! Adorable when she ran towards Yukino and hugged her while throwing a tantrum about her being scary and should stop being like that hahaha, icing on top when she called her Yukino senpai.

And now I remember why I get hurt watching this... cause Yui suffers when she doesnt deserve the suffering.... oh well you can find a better man than 8man which isnt really that hard to do.

Yui's monologue about that photo(LN volume 12), if you want to understand what Yui was thinking at that time, because I know the subtitles might ruin this scene:

I should forget it.
I should pretend that I never saw it.
I can't pretend that this moment never happened, but I could at least forget.
Surely, she would do the same.
This photo was without any sort of decoration, but still meticulously placed within the
depth of her treasures.
She kept her feelings here without even thinking how she would put them into words, nor
even conceiving how she would put them into actions.
Perhaps it would be better for me to ask about it instead. I could ask her in a joking
manner, like I was teasing her. Then, I could laugh and tell her that I'll be rooting for her, or something like that.
Yet, if I were to really do that, then maybe everything would come to an end.
If I asked and questioned her, she would certainly deny it and say that it's not like that,
that such a thing is impossible, then end it as is there.
She won't acknowledge it, will overlook it, ignore it, and neglect it.
She'll pretend that none of it ever happened and forget about it, then lose all of it.
That's why I definitely won't ask her.
It is unfair to hear her feelings.
It is unfair to say one's feelings.
But, that's because it's scary to know his feelings.
It would be most unfair to blame her.
The truth is that I've known for a long time.
That there was a place that I won't be able to enter. Even though I've stood in front of that
door many times, I thought it best not to interrupt them, that I should only peek through
and listen.
The truth is that I've known for a long time.
That I want to go there, too.
That's all I've ever wanted.
That's why, the truth is…
Something genuine, I never wanted it.

Getting drunk means stopping thinking with logic and showing your true self. Haruno said that she was not drunk because she always wore a mask. She also knew that Hachiman would do the same thing. She knew that Hachiman would not say his feelings and would always wear a mask of logic and stupid reasons for acting on something, without being honest with his own feelings. Hachiman is the same as Haruno, they are stubborn

So the prom is Iroha's idea. Excited to see how this goes maybe they'll show the scene with Hikigaya and Yukino in the white dress from the OP.

But omg that picture at the end!

Well Yukino orginising a event could be interesting but it's just the person she is helping.
Anyway things are moving on and it looks like it's a good development for all the characters even if some seem to doubt it.

Yukino's sister was also interesting this episode.

Ah.. Another week and the second episode of Oregairu Season 3!! (oh yes!!)

This time we had the return of Iroha baby, breaking the mood and really being the star of the episode !!
We also had the return of Haruno and her particular personality towards Hachiman ... and yes, it seems that Yukino is beginning to gain ground against Yui ...

Very good episode, like the previous one although more dynamic
It only remains to wait for the next episode !!

It was good to see Haruno again. I always love seeing her interaction with Hachiman.
Oh, and there is Iroha as well with her prom idea. Judging from the OP, we'll be seeing a lot of dances.

The scene towards the end... I hate seeing Yui suffer like that.

Haruno as always being a total tease with our boi. An Iroha as always creating mischief and chaos along her path, now with a prom request (btw lol at her being prom queen. As if that would happen with the girls she's up against). Lets face it. Hachiman is such a big softie putting up with these women.

Perfect ending for this episode. We've waited a long time to see that picture and Yui gets confirmation of what she's sensed for so long.

Haruno was too close to 8man there lol.

Iroha is trying to held a prom at school. I suppose it was nice to see yukino take some initiative too. She's really trying hard to grow. That dance at opening kinda makes sense now lol.

Yukino's feelings for 8man are confirmed now. Feeling a bit sad for yui tho.

So, Iroha has this idea of putting up a "Thank You" party.... a "Thank You" party????/ Man, doesn't that original creator that there is no such thing as a "Thank You" Party only a graduation ball or Prom.....Man Iroha has no concept of a western prom, only seniors or juniors celebrate a prom, freshmen, such as Iroha and Sophomores were not invited. TBH for Iroha wanting to have a prom when she could have waited til next year was just too damn annoying, and frankly I would have just let her have it her way without the trio helping her......

WTf so Hikki was held back a year, so if weren't for that accident then he would have been a senior by that time.

I don't care about Isshiki either as a personal character like the main three, but her role is pretty obviously an antagonist's one, which she serves well.

her function is only as a plot device in my opinion, and according to the author himself, this kuso-onna (yes, the author calls her shitty girl lol) useful to make the atmosphere not too serious with her presence

Do some of the animators hate Yukinoshita? Her designs are very chaotic in this episode. With some derpy and unstable faces. Strangely 2 other characters like Yui and especially Iroha got very good animation. Yukino is sometimes just one frame and staring like an autistic girl. They really ruined her image lol. Hiratsuka also looks a bit strange, maybe they are bad at drawing long black hair characters or something

I felt bad for Yui at the end of the episode after she found that picture in Yukino's room. All she does is suffer, can she catch just one break for once lol. So unlike 8man, who wants something genuine, Yui doesn't....I have a feeling those opposing viewpoints may stir up some drama going forward.

Solid episode, better than the first one. That romance conflicts really slowly kicking off now between the trio. Best part of the episode was the Haruno conversation with Hachiman, glad they kept that in this episode since I thought they might have cut that in the previous one.

Also feel really have struggled with animating Oregairu yet again. Two seasons they've done in 2015 and 2020 and both look sloppy with frames and animating character movements.

Now that you mention it, I can now understand more as to why there's people who preferred Brain's Base style of animation in s1. I mean, to each his own, and tbf, studio Feel isn't exactly something like A1, ufotable, or even KyoAni (which I know you really hate for most part, btw). For a studio not really known for clean-looking frames, I personally think they did at least a hella decent job, although not having some of the animation staff from last season kinda sucks.

Finally ,a very important also interesting episode to have

"You can't get drunk" is a wonderful statement to be thrown into Hachiman .I hope this self-conscious monster starts to get better :p

and woah ,we got to see what was behind Pan san and Neko doll .Take a close look at the photo ,all you can see are Neko and Pan san ,Kawai !!!! All that was needed there is probably a can of MAX Coffe ,bitter bitter sweet !

I hope Yui will help Yukino ,like what she said once in Fireworks episode ,to Hachiman and Haruno .I hope she doesn't get jealous of her best friend . *sigh*

For someone who likes Yui more than Yukino, this might become a painful final season! Yui is going to suffer quite a bit, just like what was shown in the final scene. But even so, Yukino and Hachiman looked like a nice couple on that photo Yui discovered!

"I never wanted anything genuine."

Damn, this statement from Yuigahama seems like there'll be a big problem. Realizing that picture, she'll try to win Hachiman. But as we all know, Hachiman doesn't like the superficiality of one's self. This'll be good.

On the light side, Isshiki's organizing something that is common elsewhere in the Western world. Will be a first time to see it.

On another note, poor Yui! :-( But I was just 'bout wondering if the picture of Yukino and Hachiman on the ride would be shown and it was! So now what's Yui going to do about it? It's like all she can do is watch as the one she loves is with someone else. Even though she's spent time with him, their relationship isn't where she truly wants it to be

i love seeing yukino and yui react. it always reminds me of s1 when yukino was so cold towards everyone but seeing now in s3 how she reacts to yui calling her name or holding her she looks so happy.

so glad we got iroha this ep - i love her liveliness.

yui finding the photo though.. i just wanted to hug her ):

alsooo the preview was funny lol iroha rejecting hachiman yet again.

I read this volume

I knew this was coming

But it's still so saaaaaaaad! Being Yui is just suffering

I got super emotional when they played "Yui no Ketsui" at Yui's scene!

another good episode, I'm glad iroha showed up. Feels kinda bad for Yui, especially with that last line.

Man my heart dropped when Yui took that photo out and said that she could never get there, realizing that Yuki won (i think). Its hard to choose best girl when they’re both so equally best.
