Inspired by the other thread. Let's also make our picks for bests of the 2000s. Considering sequels/continuations is up to each. (I won't, with only one exception). 00: Digimon Adventure 02. (I really don't like it very much and it's a sequel, but I've got nothing else to choose from and I'm still fond to it). 01: Shaman King 02: Naruto 03: Fullmetal Alchemist 04: Monster 05: Mushishi 06: Death Note 07: Darker than Black 08: Kaiba 09: Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood |

This is for sure my preferred decade so far. Won't include multiple seasons for one show for those that spanned several different years, whether consecutively or not. Will just count each show once. For shows with multiple seasons, I'll just count it for the year that corresponds to the season I consider best. 2000 - Inuyasha 2001 - Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi 2002 - Haibane Renmei 2003 - Kino no Tabi 2004 -Koi Kaze; Honorable mention to Elfen Lied; sole secondary Honorable mention of Aishiteruze Baby. This might be my favorite year. 2005 - Mushishi; Honorable mention to Aria the Animation 2006 - Black Lagoon; Honorable mention to The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya 2007 - Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai; Honorable mention to Dennou Coil 2008 - Kaiba; Honorable mention to Spice and Wolf 2009 - Nothing I've seen from this year besides sequels I wouldn't want to give the nod to. |

Note: I'll be including series that aired during the years, not just ones that began during the year. 2000: Great Teacher Onizuka 2001: One Piece (If only taking into account the series' quality at the time. If talking about the series' overall quality in retrospect, then Hajime no Ippo takes the spot.) 2002: Haibane Renmei 2003: Planetes 2004 - 2005: Monster 2006: Welcome to the NHK! 2007 - 2008: Kaiji: Ultimate Survivor 2009: Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood |

2000: Brigadoon.very underrated series from Sunrise. Dont let the fact that the Mc is a little girl deter you from watching it 2001: Fruits Basket. One of the best post-2000 shojo, despite the not so good animation 2002: Secret of the Cerulean Sand. Very underrated Jules Verne inspired adventure, full of soul and heart and quality Telecom animation 2003: Uninhabited Planet Survival. Same director as series above, same quality with very good characters and scifi adventure/survival 2004: Tweeny Witches. Wished LWA had some of the charm of that series. Liked its world much better overall. 2005: Gallery Fake. Unique series about the art world and museums and what goes on behind the scenes. Reminds a little of Master Keaton, without copying it though. 2006: Bartender. Very underrated series, mostly for adults since it deals with exquisite cocktails and the stories behind them as well as personal stories of the drinkers. . Urged me to read the manga where things are concluded. 2007: Dennou Coil. One of the best kids scifi adventure series with incredible animation and character design. A series like no other 2008: Porphy no Nagai Tabi. Last good wmt by Nippon Animation. It takes place in my country too initially, 60 years ago. Back then I had no idea wmt would stop, so I nominate it as the best 2009: Trapeze. One of the good modern novel to anime adaptations about the funny and absurd stories of a psychiatrist. Reminded me of Mind Game. |

Who are you and why do you show your hostility towards a complete stranger whom you've not once spoken with before. Are you seriously asking to get blocked?
