| THANK GOD THIS CRAP IS OVER. I think it was the best decision to let it end here than to just drag this even longer and make it even worse. Really sad that one of my favorite shows got this treatment after the Shokugeki competition against the members of the Elite 10. |

| @tragedydesu: On that, Erina became a lot likeable in the later chapters though. I didn't really dislike her as much later down the line. However, the biggest mystery remained how Megumi was listed as one of the three main characters in the description all throughout with her having absolutely no more role than the 1,032 other characters in the story. :P That being said, romance aside, the story really hit rock bottom soon once the wheel of romance started to turn. There were some parallels in making Erina the trophy (oh, such garbage) but the story just got from bad to worse with random outsiders/ underworld dark chefs entering the story who had absolutely nothing to do with the academy and the whole shokugeki's becoming chores to follow through. SnS will be remembered as yet another story with a lot of potentials which failed to deliver. My anger and frustration are more because of the promise it showed really. |

| About time. Looks like even Japan couldn't stand the last arc and its development. Rumors that the mangaka was trying to get his own series axed might've been true... It's a sad end tbh. I still remember myself hyping up so much after the first season so I went and read the manga. That's why long-running series shouldn't be milked for a long time and should end when it's on a glory. RIP, Shokugeki no Soma. I'll never forget you. |

| I'm glad it's over. The last arc was beyond horrible, it's a good thing they haven't decided to drag this on. I hope the end will be at least somehow satisfying though. |

I am still not over the penultimate chapter. Oh God, I don't think any long running shounen can ever pull such a finale. The foreshadowing, the flashbacks, the twist in the story, the feels -- you name what you want. Sorachi just made himself a legend if he wasn't already. :,) No wonder why Japan seem to pick him again and again. |

| No wonder its getting axed. I watched all the anime and notice big quality drop every season. So I read a few chapters from the current manga arc and it was boring and bogus. The antagonist characters are trash! I miss the early arcs of this series :( |

| That sucks, it was all because of that stupid orphan boy, hope he gets run over by a truck. As much as I hated the last 50 or so chapters in this manga, I'd honestly miss it when it's over. They completely just brushed off the main theme of the manga when Joichiro said "The key to becoming a good chef is to find someone to cook for" and they reintroduced it too late. I think the announcement will be a new manga, same premise, different characters, but without the bullshit of skipping around and introducing redundant , half assed arcs. |
