| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- So it's around the Christmas holidays... I gotta admit, this episode was really tense especially with the rivalry going on between Mei and Matsuri. Not surprised that Mei is getting more aggressive too with her move towards Yuzu. Matsuri isn't dropping her guard either. I guess they're developing more into Mei and Yuzu's relationship considering Mei wants to be more "open" with her lol |

| I really disliked the way Matsuri was blackmailing Mei. I'm glad that didn't get out of hand. I'm glad Yuzu retorted pretty strongly to Matsuri's comments about Mei, she deserved a little more than the headbutt. Mei's conversation with Matsuri was nice and I'm glad she set her straight. Ending was good. |

| Matsuri certainly is daring in taking on Mei. Blackmail sure is a low move though. Yuzu sure had a lot of failed cakes though. Matsuri's determined to see her plan through huh. The manner of how Matsuri and Yuzu interacted for the first time though was cute. Even when knowing that she's being forced to follow her plan Mei still tried to help Matsuri eh. Its nice that in the end Mei and Matsuri were able to make peace though. Mei using what she learned from Yuzu to lecture Matsuri though was interesting. Well that was a good end to Matsuri's arc. |

| Matsuri is easily defeated after trying to blackmail Mei; there's no getting between Yuzu and her love. Mei makes an attempt to open up to Yuzu, and looks like a psychopath in doing so. I wasn't feeling the last couple of episodes, but the ending of today's episode may have won me back over. Hopefully outsiders, old friends, etc can stay out the damn way now so that Yuku and Mei can have some time to figure each other out. 4/5 |
| Matsuri is scum for blackmailing Mei, but at least things didn't get any worse. She was easily beaten by Yuzu. I'm glad things were resolved rather quickly, but I still don't like Matsuri though. |

| The drama regarding Matsuri was resolved easier than expected.I'm glad about and also that she matured a bit. Didn't really hate her before,yeah she was kind of annoying,but that's how some teens are. Line with the threesome was funny,tho xD Pretty good end for the episode. |

| Citrus is not only interesting me in terms of the yuri appeal, but in how deep the development of the two main characters' relationship is, as well as the adversity they have had to face up to this point. I'm glad this series also gives solid backstory to most of the supporting cast instead of just cookie cutter stuff. It's kinda sad we only have 3 more episodes left in this series as of right now. |

| Yuzu finally figured out Matsuri is more than just a little annoying. Thank god she spoke up and they all worked out that conflict fairly quickly. This arc was sort of frustrating but in the end, it was worth it because all three characters took big leaps in progression. Quite a happy note to end on, especially without any actual assault between Yuzu and Mei these past few episodes. I liked Mitsuri's character overall; she spoke down to Mei for her manipulation of Yuzu and accidentally forced them closer together. Don't mess this up citrus! |

| Glad this Matsuri drama is over. She was such a little piece of shit. She gets some points for the threesome comment anyway. I'm glad it ended quickly when Matsuri realized Yuzu is falling for any of her crap. The end scene was nice. I'm really liking their relationship and I'm glad Mei is going to start opening up. |

I do not understand. i wouldn't recommend you to expect serious punishments from characters in this show. they just do things and get forgiven : -yuzu makes out with mei and get caught by gramps - gets forgiven and he kinda ignored that, like whatevs -matsuri is a bitch, gropes onto mei - mei doesn't give a shit, trespasses the premises - nobody gives a shit, blackmails mei - yuzu says 'apologize' and forgets about that, because she's her childhood friend (friendship is magic!) i like the drama parts of this show, but if you really start thinking about details it'll start to disappoint you |

Hopefully the future episodes fix up  I half expected her forehead to start bleeding, like some shounen. Well, now it looks like we all are friends now... sure, Matsuri was blackmailing Mei in a really shitty way but at least this time Yuzu could realized (more or less) what was going on and stop Matsuri's antics. So no hard feelings, right?... Nevertheless, I would recomend Nanachi Matsuri visiting a psychologist but oh well. |
| Matsuri went really nasty here, but luckily the whole situation got resolved without things getting too dangerous or out of hand. Positive thing out of this whole ordeal is that Yuzu and Mei are gradually growing closer, and Mei is finally opening up a little bit and being honest with herself. Great episode. |

| Am I the only one that doesn't think Matsuri is a complete tool? I mean yeah she's a twat but her back story seems to indicate how she became that way. She's just lonely and doesn't know how to deal with people properly imo and honestly it's really fucking sad. And she DELETED the blackmail too! She's really not a bad person, just fucked up inside because she has nobody that cares for her. I mean I don't mean to rant but I'm tired of seeing just the constant trashing of Matsuri by people on the reddit and MAL threads. Her character is extremely realistic for someone in a situation like hers, and even when she was doing those awful things to Yuzu I still felt as though it was because she was damaged. I mean that doesn't excuse her actions, but it helps you understand exactly why.  This moment imo was just so heartwarming because she finally is able to understand that she does indeed have people that care about her and she doesn't have to fight for anybody's attention when both Yuzu and Mei will be there for her. When I started watching this show, I really wasn't sure what to expect. I hadn't read the manga so I was expecting somewhat of a SOL with a lot of humor and fanservice, not something deep on emotional levels. Which is exactly what this is - it truly is a great romance because it feels real, doesn't over exaggerate much, and really explores what the characters are feeling at any given moment, why, and how. It's definitely not shallow and it touches my heart and I'm highly considering reading the manga. Yeah, the show started off at a pace that was way too fast, but it has gradually slowed itself down to a realistic pace and I am really enjoying it. |

| Matsuri is still a bitch, but I don't hate her. She was good for adding drama into the show, and Mei become more open because of it. Mei was really prepared to go far with the mysterious guy just to teach Matsuri a lesson. She seems really happy that Yuzu has feelings for her, even though Yuzu hasn't said anything all that directly yet. The chest touching scene was pretty intense, and it should lead into an interesting start for next week's episode. |

| I would have preferred that Mei resolved the case of Matsuri by herself instead of Yuzu taking care of the situation, but what Yuzu courageously did to stop Matsuri was pretty awesome though. I wonder when Mei will be there to protect Yuzu when the time comes though, will it even happen? :p |

| This episode was amazing. So the blackmail shit was stopped which was good. Matsuri did call Mei a bitch a lot during the episode (slut in the english localization and dub most likely) which was funny because Mei isn't the bitch Matsuri was. This episode concluded the Matsuri issue well and I'm glad they all got along in the end. That fucking threesome joke was great. Mmmm spicy. (Ferris Bueller Oh Yeah theme plays). The end was a good thing as Mei is becoming more open. But the tits groping was a bit too much for me. Hey at least it isn't as bad as the sex scene in End of Evagelion. That was uncomfortable. I like Matsuri now. She reminds me of myself from when i had a bad addiction to hentai. I was a creepy yet adorable acting perv who was a gamer, and would be a bit too flirty. Oh and i once tried to blackmail someone who bullied me so yeah. Man I was a bitch. Also my friends are a bit.... flirtatious too so yeah. Citrus but male and no incest = my fucken life |

| Everyone is so quick to find problems with (read: despise) Matsuri when Mei has been an absolute pain in the ass for the past eight episodes. | Lots of cucking going on, but Yuzu pulls through once again. Well at least Mei and Matsuri have come to a bit of understanding, so I guess the rest of the events in this series will just be some teasing and getting Yuzu to open up. Not gonna lie. I almost teared up when Yuzu began telling Mei to talk to her if she needs help. Yuzu's most likely going to be my favorite female character of the season. |
