| Long time ago I didn't really care about tattoos or piercings but recently I became very fascinated by them. I got my first piercings over a month ago and during this summer I'm planning to get my first tattoo on my right arm...I'm even considering head tattoo :P So what are your thoughts about them? P.S: before you post "you won't get a job, lol" comments I just want to say that I run my own small media company so I don't give a shit. |
| Well, I've got 2 piercings on each ear and planning to get more later this year. I personally won't be getting any tattoos and the only piercings I'll do will be on my ears. Tattoos and piercings look great on other people, however, if it's not too excessive... like piercings all over their face or tattoos covering the majority of their body.. But yeah, they're strangely addicting. |

| The only Tattoos I could consider getting would be a Cowboy Bebop or Music related one. I'd get my ears pierced though. |
| I dunno know, I don't really care if you have a piercing or a tattoo, if I don't like you I don't. Done, although having too much tattoo or piercing is a bit too much and I see it as a mess. But 1-3 or something that doesn't make your body like a crumpled paper, it's fine. |
| you won't get a job, lol I'm not really big on piercings but I was when I was in high school. I got a ear piercing but after seeing how BAD it looked on me I took it off and the hole closed. So I got lucky there. I have nothing against piercings, it just looked horrid on me. Personally, I like all tattoos but for my own body I'd probably just get a full arm or my forearm if I can manage it. But I want to get a tattoo from somewhere like Argentina where street artists are lauded as some of the greatest artists in the country. I know that a few of them do tattoo on the side if they're requested and they feel like it. |
| I remember seeing a thread about tattoos on MAL a while back and a good portion of the people replying hated tattoos which surprised me haha. I have 12 piercings and 3 tattoos currently, with another appointment in March to get my hips done. I'm planning on just a few more piercings (most of these are on my ears) but a lot more tattoos. They're pretty addictive, especially when you follow artists on Instagram and see all the beautiful art they create. My main artist does gorgeous anime/manga tattoos. The idea you won't get a job is completely outdated now, at least here in the United States. There aren't many spots you won't be able to cover with clothes, and employers are becoming more lax with this rule as the popularity of tattoos increase (they don't have much of a choice). No one has given me those BS arguments yet, but I'm not looking forward to getting grabbed when I get my arms done as majority of tatted women have that experience. |

| I did my own piercings in my ears (with the proper tools of course), at one point I had 5 in my left ear and 3 in my right but most of them have healed closed now. I now have 1 in my left and 2 in my right. I plan to re-pierce my ears again but buying the equipment is a pain. I have two small tattoos on my right hand and one on my left wrist, but that's going to be laser'ed off soon. |

Just take into serious consideration the placement, design and how it wears overtime/how it could possibly look in the future (wish I told myself this when I decided on the design of mine). As for piercings I have 3 on my left ear and 1 (used to be 2) on my right. I also have a bellybutton piercing which I got in high school. I don't bother with it anymore though. |

| I like tattoos that are meaningful to the person wearing it, or if the tattoo is a beautiful/cool work of art. The generic and uninspired ones are trite and boring. I'm a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to piercings, so I mostly approve of ear piercings, but I guess I have one exception when it comes to navel piercings, which I think can look cool if you have a slim or well-toned body. The piercings I like the least are septum piercings; something about them just rubs me the wrong way. |

| It depends on the location and style and quality. I dont really like meaningless traditional style flash tattoos. I would have piercings and tattoos myself but im too indecisive on what and where and if i could tolerate how a piercing would feel on my body. I also like scarification on rare occasions. Oddest piercing id consider for myself is a finger web piercing but that is kinda pointless and might get in the way. |

| Tattoos look good on other people (sometimes) but I'd never get one myself. Too permanent. I know I'd regret it. I LOVE PIERCINGS. I have 11, but 10 are on my ears lel. The only piercing I don't like is the septum piercing. They just look bad on nearly everyone imo, sorry. And genital ones. Ew. |

| I have my ears gauged, I'm at 4g currently. Might move up to 2g but won't go any bigger than that. Tattoos and piercings are beautiful to me, it's a classic expression of individuality. Some people go overboard with them, but it's their life and I won't judge them for it. A lot of tattoos are quite attractive to look at, imo. I'm not a fan of tribal designs though, those are overdone a lot. |

| tattoos and piercings are very aesthetically pleasing imo. i just get a bit irked when people get their brow bone, tongue, or lips pierced. i think ear, belly button, nose, even nipple piercings are cool. really interested in this!: i change my mind very often so i dont think i'll be getting a tattoo any time soon. |
| Piercings are a major turn-off as well as large tattoos. I don't mind very small tattoos -- especially if they are in inconspicuous spots (ankles, shoulder). Zero of either is best, though. |

| I highly dislike them. Lip piercings are about the only thing that can look moderately attractive. If someone has a bunch of crap hanging off their nose or ears or they cover their entire bodies with ink then I probably do not want to be around said person. It reeks insecurity to me when people feel the need to put all their interests and such on display for everyone to see. |

| I quite like them if they're done in moderation. On girls they're pretty attractive sometimes. I like punk/emo girls if it's not too extreme :3 Don't think I'll ever get either myself though as I just don't know what I'd get. |

| It's your body, do what you want with it. One thing to have in mind, if you decide to have a tattoo/piercing, be absolutely sure that you're doing it because of yourself. Because if you do it just to look cool or awesome or whatnot, what's the point? You're cool and awesome without them. Also have in mind that you'll live with it for the rest of your life. If you're okay with that, then go ahead. |

| I love ear piercings and that's why I buy fake piercing earrings lol I've got my upper lobe pierced on both ears but never had the courage to go for the helix part. I'm content with that though, so no more piercings for me. As for tattoos, I've always wanted a tiny little star on the back of my right shoulder, but later on put that idea to the side. I had it done with henna a couple of times, though, but I guess that doesn't count. |

| ya, they're pretty cool, just don't overdo them. something so minor like a piercing can make someone look a lot better imho, it's just up to what people can and can't 'rock.' Tattoos are great too! They tell you there's a lot more to a person than just personality, they're stories/experiences on a human canvas. I've considered something small like a Phoenix near my wrist.. I would probably still want it. |

| I currently have 3 piercings on my right ear, and 2 on my left. I find ear, nose, and belly piercings attractive if they're done right. I was never a fan of tattoos, so I doubt I'd ever get one. Smaller tattoos that hold some sort of meaning to the wearer are nice though. |

| I have thought about getting tattoos on my forearm before. My job didn't mind me getting a tattoo. Maybe because I was at the job for a while and wasn't new or I wasn't interviewing. But the reason I backed out was because they will stay on you for the rest of your life. Unless of course you get tattoo laser removal but who wants to spend more money and pain. Also I have heard that getting tattoos gets addicting, so I didn't want to end up getting my whole body. |

| I dislike most of piercings and tattoos, usually they make person look rather ugly than attractive in my eyes :v I don't really care that much though, it's just the matter of personal preference. The only place that looks good pierced are ears imo. |

Insecure also isnt even a bad trait because it only effects the person with it unlike being overly secure which effects others. |
