Awesome divine sword, and it used solar energy before it was cool. Loved the interactions between Shichika and Togame, she's smart indeed o_o |

Emonzaemon picked my interrest. He's really cool and pretty powerful too, he killed that turtle without any saber. Also, did I heard right that those guns were one of the katana's? That episode was really good. Shichika changed a lot since the beginning and now he just seem to have understand that he's not only a katana but a human too. That puppet was also kinda sad, she almost looked like a human. She was really strong too. Princess Hitei look like a real bitch. I don't understand why Togame sent her Kanzashi, she's her enemy, no? Also, I already like Togame, but she just grew in respect for me there. She was really clever to understand how the robot worked just by looking at it. |

This serie does a lot of interesting stuff. Though the main characters are starting to annoy me. They have many quirks. Also guns, in shows centered on swords it always means that bad shit will go down. |

"I may be a sword, but at the same time, I have a human soul!" This is the embodiment of Shichika's character development. The interesting part is how this line relates to the Deviant Blades, which were themselves said to be imbued with human souls. In becoming both human and blade, Shichika has surpassed the excellence of the Deviant Blades and has become the perfect sword. He is both sword and swordsman, cutting and deciding what to cut. It was a pretty brilliant moment, to be honest. It also solidified his devotion to Togame, who is now his partner rather than his master. Speaking of which, the romance in this anime has been handled far better than it even has in some I've seen that are totally devoted to romance. The changes in interaction each episode are subtle, but, as in the ED, Shichika and Togame grow closer and closer with each episode. If the narrative continues as well as it has been, they'll likely be my first favorite anime couple. Really, though, I'm just marveling at Shichika's development. Who would have expected it from a semi-formulaic anime like this? This is such excellent writing, and right after that wham episode just before it, too. How cannot more people appreciate this? Ah, but perhaps I'm getting ahead of myself. There are still four more episodes, after all. However, at this point I'm thoroughly impressed. |

Hahaha.. it's refreshing to seesome humor again after the last episode. Togame look more serious with her new short hairstyle.. but can still cute when she acts childish. It was funny the way she wanted a piggy back but was too embarrassed to do so.. damn you lightbulb. Emonzaemon isn't just some pushover character it seems.. can't wait to see him in full power. I see the main focus this time is Shichika finally found his human soul as a sword. They seem to be getting pretty intimate.. Shichika discovered the art of teasing. I'm just glad the artstyle is back like before.. thank heavens for that. Owh the next episode seems like my cup of tea. Cheerio ! |

I'm still pissed off at the spoiler i read in the last thread, and im now VERY reluctantly trudging my way though the rest of this series. Still a beautiful show, with beautiful visuals and interesting ideals and conversations, quick but cool fight scenes and plenty of cuteness. |

This show keeps topping itself episode after episode. The fight in this one was so good (Shichika vs. the Doll) and I loved the soundtrack that played during part of the fight. The Doll was quite amazing, probably my favorite sword so far. I am also loving Shichika's personality. While justified, he was quite bland in the beginning and he has become way more likable after eight episodes and so has Togame, although I think she will eventually betray Shichika or something. |

I like Shicika's development so far. He now consider himself not only a sword, but also a human being and have accepted that he has soul and it's not only a disposable object. Really liked the battle against Biyorigo, probably the uniquest Deviant Blade seeing so far. And togame's plan worked there. I also felt some pity for the doll at the end, strangely. And... another Maniwa died. It seems the series has something against them or something :/ Emonzaemon was badass though. I like princess Hitei. She has a bitchy personality, but in a very entertaining way. Her greeting with Togame was funny. Without counting the Deviant Blade of Hitei (those guns), Togame and Shichika only have three swords to find for the moment. Let's see how the story will go. |

Yanoflies said: The blacksmith is kewl, he was thinking about global warming etc. Solar power is the way to go. Best comment :> On a serious note, Shichika definitely received good character development in this episode, and it's easy to see the change in his and Togame's relationship here as well. Idk though, I'm not a fan of the way Shichika's epiphany was shown, it was just so straightforward. And perhaps that's intentional, given that it's a very Shichika type of thing to say, as he did in the first step when out of nowhere he states that he had fallen for Togame. Still, I'd prefer if the delivery was a bit more subtle. I also still don't personally feel the chemistry between the two. |

That trap idea looked like something team rocket would come up with Just as effective too lol For real, a doll is a sword now? I found it weird when an armor was a sword but a mechanic doll? At this point Princess Hitei probably has a sword too, and it's her Louis Vuitton fan Good episode nonetheless. I love the humor this show has and how Togame and Shichika are much closer now, it gives more development to their friendship :) |

Hello Ali Project and farewell to summer. With this eighth episode, we have the continued growth of our main pair, a few uncoverings of background plotting, and information about Houhou apparently not being a pushover compared to all the other Maniwa Ninja Corp heads. As previous stories were closed, new mysteries keep arising, raising new questions about where this story is all going. I'll keep my guesses to myself, but if I may raise an observation, I'll assume that the character designs of Togame and Hitei will come into play later on in the anime. I'm still trying to figure out what Togame's eye change is supposed to mean beyond indicating when she's being either analytical, serious, or cunning. This was made even more pondrous when Shichika compared Togame to Hitei. Something's going on. Anyways, this marks the beginning of the last third of Katanagatari. It's hard to believe it has been 8 months since I started watching this, but despite being the final stretch, four months is a long time. |

Togame might just prove to be a lot more useful in the second half if this trend continues. I loved the juxtaposition of Shichika with the doll, and he made a great point about the last episode, how he wouldn't have been able to defeat Nanami if he hadn't acted on his own volition. A sword that thinks for itself is better than one that doesn't, obviously. Hitei and Eamon's dynamic is pretty fun, acting as a foil for Togame and Shichika. Now I really want to know why Eamon is so loyal to her. Surely he wouldn't put up with her sass without a good reason. |

It was about time they introduced that smarmy Princess. Or you know had her and Togame interact face to face. I still don't really get her goal. Or why she hates Togame so much. But their interactions this episode were priceless. I'm guessing purely based on the brevity of the series. That the Hime-sama will not have a change of heart. And will be bitter enemies with Togame until the end. But their interactions are interesting. And seems reminiscent to me of some will-they-won't-they tsundere type relationships where they argue but actually like each other. Couldn't say with certainty yet though. The sword of this episode was one of the most interesting. Not because they were a sentinel robot. You get used to such anachronisms in this series. But because of how they used the robot as a clear metaphor for Shichika. And perhaps more importantly how far Shichika has come. In the beginning when he was trained only to be a sword he was like a lifeless doll. Created specifically for one purpose. But now he can think for himself and feel his own feelings and make his own judgments. Shichika's growth as a human is a rather obvious part of the series to track from the jump. But this episode really drove it into you. |

Another Maniwa bites the dust xD Doesn't matter what Shichika thinks of himself He's always a human, only have pretty weird emotions.. since he have to learn them by himself Or.. That's how you define this anime, "Katanagatari" If that's what it means.. then it's pretty clever.. I guess that's obvious xD Please let me take that box, they're golds right? xD |

These deviant blades never fails to amaze me with their weirdness, as for this one to run by solar power and can detect & separate human presence to other lifeforms, I must say it's way too advanced for the era this "blade" was created but who gives a fck just my small nitpick. Anyway as usual Shichika and Togame's interactions in this ep never fail to amaze me, especially with the one with Emonzaemon like that dude just smile at how sweet these 2 are. Man just seeing Shichika self-reflect on who he was before as he see himself with the doll is the icing to this ep, I'm glad that he finally learned what it means to be human. Also kinda agree with this dude Togame w/ short hair > Togame w/ long hair 1st OP >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 2nd OP |

Shichika has reached that point of humanity that he managed to sympathize with a fellow sword, specifically a doll who follows absolute commands without considering other moral factors, as something he used to be just like. Just 3 Maniwani left tho. The greetings between Princess Hitei and Togame made Shichika further discover the enigma of woman interaction. Despite their clever schemes, how they managed to miss both the gun swords and the golden blades made me die a little inside at their potential loss. All signs point towards Togame not wearing anything down there except for the delicate parts of her dress. Her hair won't be able to cover anything once another scene happens so she's have to rely on convenient background elements from now on lmao |

Another awesome episode indeed ! I feel like this episode was different from the others however, but in a good way As usual, the scenery and the backgrounds are gorgeous, and the character development in this episode is really great The animation quality increased too, and the fight with the doll was really impressive, the best so far in this anime Nice OST too, and, unlike what seems the vast majority of people here, I really like the 2nd OP. Ali Projects fits really well with the tone of the series. 2nd OP has stunning visuals too ! I'm currently catching up with the anime, but I'm not watching it really fast tbh and I appreciate that rhythm Waiting a month between each episode would be too long, but I started watching the anime at the end of June, so I'll be finishing it within the next week I think. It will have taken me 2 months to watch the anime, that makes 6 eps per month so more or less 1.5 eps per week. That's a nice rhythm I think, if I watched it too fast I couldn't have had this "journey" sensation alongside the Togame and Shichika ! |

I laugh when Shichika's talk bad bout Togame' house. The new opening was good, better than the first opening. Togame and Hitei's greeting was way to long than I expected. Togame has a cute side too, when Emonzaemon looks it makes me smile. Biyorigou's appearance is not what I expected, I thought it would be sea creature or something like that, other than that it looks cool having four swords and it is the 8th sword. Maniwa Umigame has lost against Smonzaemon who looks like is out for a revenge against Maniwa corps, it was a quick fight amd was easy for Emonzaemon. Shichika seeing an image of him on the 8th sword is nice, along how he compare it to the past and present him. The battle between them is basically about who can endure the fight longer, but since the doll loses fuel it loses. |

How... how could Togami have possibly predicted that the robot is also a helicopter? There's a point at which a character "predicting" things gets too ridiculous to ignore, and frankly its below what I would expect from such a well-regarded author. |

Am losing interest in this show fast and actually skipped a lot of this episode when I realize I was neither caring nor actually paying attention to what anyone was saying; it just drags out for too long. Really it hasn't necessarily declined in quality by any significant means, but I mean once you have a rather climatic event in that of fighting your sister was like the most powerful character in the show, everything else to me at least just feels lacklustre now. I kind of see what that one guy meant when he said it's only good for about half of the show. I think it would've been absolutely fine to watch this in monthly increments as that's how it was released while it was airing. But I'm watching this from day to day, and it just feels like it's beginning to stretch on for a bit too long at parts. I'm going to finish the rest of this series still, but not exactly. I'll be skipping ahead in 5 second or so increments with my handy dandy right arrow key and just trying to get the general idea by reading whatever comes in on the subtitles. And I think that will be pretty easy, because unless I'm wrong, the writing style is actually so basic that one character can say one line of dialogue and they just hammer in on that one line and talk about nothing else for the next five minutes. Like legit give me one line of dialogue every five minutes and you could basically watch the whole episode without having to watch all this other stuff that makes it drag on. Maybe I'm completely wrong but that's just how it feels to me at this point. The last post on this discussion thread was literally in 2020; I think it's safe to say that not a lot of people are watching this and that it will be quite some time before anyone comes across, let alone READ this. And if and when that time comes and you the reader happen to be triggered by anything I said, well idgaf. I'll have moved on and be long gone by then with Katanagatari sent far back into the recesses of my distant faded memory. Anyway, time to "watch" the remaining 4 episodes. |

Well, I had to take four months of healing before I could return to EP 8 for this anime, and after watching, I thought it was nice to get something that felt more calm and wholesome when compared to the previous one…, ngl, I loved this one!! I think the last episode is still the best, but I loved this one because of a realization I eventually found out, which made me very happy! But, I'll get to that when we get there… Right off the bat, NEW OPENING!!! So, obviously, the visuals look beautiful!! The opening shows us two new characters that we'll soon encounter, bits and pieces of how their journey went throughout the months, hints of one's past, and some moments that seem to foreshadow a critical moment later down the road… the lyrics seems to be a message from Togame herself, saying how her meeting with Shichika seems to eventually bring such a fate for the two, hints of how her past was but still had something that's deeply hidden, and how she's currently in a battle to obtain her goals and will have Shichika deliver the final blow if needed… Basically: Visuals = Wonderful Lyrics = Deep But how's the song itself??? Well, the first few notes were quite epic!!! Then it became a Code Geass song once the singers began to sing… Yeah, I saw several give complaints on how the song doesn't fit the vibes for this anime as a whole… Lyrics and visuals are definitely spot on; it's just the tone of the song that feels as if it belongs to another anime… That might be my first complaint for this anime, wow… That said, just because I believe an OP song to be weak, that doesn't mean it affects the overall score for this anime. I still think it's an excellent anime, and OP/ED songs are more of a preference for those who would either love it or not… Now, onto the episode itself, it takes place in Owari, where Shichika & Togame arrive at Togame's house. The house is meant to be extremely flashy, which doesn't fit in with the rest of the houses within the homeland. This idea makes Shichika tease the house, but Togame herself doesn't let that slide and makes his teasing a big deal. It's a funny moment, and it shows that Togame tends to make a big deal of small situations, like that whole "Cheerio" situation in EP 5… but here's something to think about: Togame herself has been doing this a lot more than she did in the earlier episodes… Back in EP 1, in the scene when Togame began introducing herself to Shichika to explain who she is and why she's a big deal, Shichika then comments on how Togame sounds like a silly name… Sure, Togame makes a slight annoyed expression, but she chooses to continue with her introduction and shrug off his comment… meanwhile, in this episode, Shichika makes fun of her house, and Togame doesn't let it slide this time and even gives a deeply annoyed tone and expression when he needs to stay watch at her "gaudy" mansion… this shows that Togame has been getting a lot closer to him that, if he here to tease her in anyway, Togame would now easily get annoyed because she would prefer if he said something that she'd love to hear instead… which, wait a sec… *remembers end of episode* Whoa, dang!!! I'll go over that, though I'll mention everything later with how Togame herself has become much more vulnerable when being with Shichika… Anyhow, Togame's house is empty, showing how she truly was committed to the journey she made for herself... and then Emonzaemon appears out of nowhere to tell Shichika that Princess Hitei wants to pass information on some blades that he came to get Shichika for it… …and, apparently, it was a plan for Togame to no longer have an excuse not to see her in person… …and, yeah… Princess Hitei teased Togame for now having short hair… Huh??? After three months, she's still onto that??? See what I mean? Making a big deal of small things… Ah, gotcha… Clearly, the two have quite the rivalry that they go over an argument about trying to expose each others intentions & who'll eventually end up with all the glory in the end… and, well, something tells me Princess Hitei may have tricked Togame with a false idea of what Cheerio meant sometime within their past… Obviously, Togame puts on an act to not show any signs of vulnerability towards Hitei, but DOES tell Shichika now to show any respect towards her at all, since she believed he might fall for Hitei as well… Anyways, Hitei gives information on how the swordsmith of the swords has a workshop located at an abandoned lake that is guarded by a mechanical doll known as Biyorigou, and the workshop possibly contains information on the few remaining swords… before the two decided to leave, Togame notices how Hitei has guns on display, though Hitei tells her not to worry about it… But Shichika sensed something from them anyway… (And, well, EP 1 literally showed us that a pair of Guns are Swords…) We then cut to a scene with the Maniwa… 😳 MOMMY MANIWA!!!!!!! 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵 So, Emonzaemon leads Shichika & Togame to the abandoned lake, where he then disappears from the spot, and it becomes just the two of them. Take note: Togame comments that it's finally now just the two of them… only for Shichika to reply with, "What?" and then Togame gets disappointed… Once again, I shall say that this moment & Shichika's comment on her house are two moments that should be remembered… The two then encounter the Biyorigou, who happens to hold several swords in its hands. Ngl, I think it has such a cool-looking design! The way it has four legs to help always make its 90-degree turns, the way it wears a nice Kimono, and its face includes makeup of a Geisha, the way the gears look from within to make it look as if from the future but ancient at the same time, and those eye designs look so dang haunting! (Also, Demon Slayer copied this eventually??? I mean, the doll in that one literally reveals that it contains a sword from within as well, so, hmm… and it takes place in a sword-smith village, so HMMMMMM…. Also, that season of Demon Slayer has one similar recommendation, that being KATANAGATARI!!! HMMMMMMM Honestly, I get the feeling that Demon Slayer has several inspirations from this one, and I could pinpoint each instance, but we're not here to do that now, are we??) Anywho, Shichika realizes late, once about to strike the Mechanical doll, that it itself is the entire eighth sword, meaning Togame has got to think of a strategy on how Shichika should take it down without causing any damage. We then see the two at an inn having some pickles and discussing what makes something a sword. If I understand correctly, the swordsmith is creating these unique designs to achieve perfection, as if trying to create a perfected blade. It gets revealed why the doll was created as such, and why it's a perfected blade on his eyes… but I get the idea with Shichika being a sword himself… the dude grew up to be like a weapon, but isn't at his fullest yet… he's someone who, in each episode, obtains a new moral upon himself to become a better fighter… in a way, it's like sharpening your sword a lot more until it reaches its perfect state, meaning that Shichika will soon become a perfected fighter as well! Speaking of Shichika, during the following few scenes of his interactions with Togame as they plan on how to defeat the Biyorigou, I loved seeing how much more expressive and playful he's become toward Togame! Togame gets Shichika wet because she got jealous of his curious questions of Princess Hitei, despite his curious nature… but then Shichika decides to flap his hair so that the water drops would go onto Togame for playful revenge! The next day, Togame is under Shichika's shade because of how hot it is as she checks the entire area to see how the battle should unfold. Still, then Shichika decides to act all playful and tearful by getting his shadow away from Togame so that she'd try to chase down his shadow not to feel hot!! While Shichika gets some fun, Togame shows herself getting annoyed despite the tease. At the inn, Togame shows some blueprints to Shichika to show what to do, and Shichika randomly decides to tickle Togame's waist for fun!! These are such small moments, but they show how much Shichika has been sharpening throughout this journey, and it's so wholesome seeing him want to be a lot more playful towards her! Now, compare this relationship to Hitei & Emonzaemon's… Early in this episode, it's revealed that Emonzaemon wears a mask so that he hides what is know as his gloomy expression, making him keep his emotions completely sealed… but on the scene when Emonzaemon goes against the Turtle Maniwa who is out in search of a sword, it's revealed that Emonzaemon used to be a ninja himself back then, hence his ability to quickly appear and disappear from any place… he was part of another corps in which the Maniwa corps took down his village… he is shown to have some recognition against Houhou Maniwa as being one who would be the strongest within the corps. Still, Emonzaemon nonetheless kills off the turtle Maniwa to avenge his ancestors… or so that's what we believe, even though his report to Hitei is to show how he no longer has a grudge anymore, that he only did what the princess has told him to do… Deep down, Emonzaemon does have such a long grudge against the Maniwa, but he's not gonna show his genuine emotions because of how they're hidden underneath his mask… It's also interesting to see how Emonzaemon is 100% loyal to Princess Hitei; when Shichika made a statement including Hitei's name as "Princess-Whatever," Emonzaemon corrected him sternly to show he does not tolerate any hint of disrespect toward her at all… That's the big difference between these two duos… Togame is slowly teaching Shichika how to be more human, so he has become more playful and expressive towards her while still being loyal to her anyway. It shows quite a human connection slowly forming between the two, as well as making Shichika sharpen his personality to become an improved human being, while still being a sword as well! Meanwhile, Hitei keeps Emonzaemon completely sealed, so that he does not show any hint of emotion towards anyone at all, making him less human and more of a secret weapon instead. This makes their relationship more of just complete loyalty and deep respect without any fun interaction. Basically, the sword becomes more human while the human becomes completely expressionless, as if to be seen as just a weapon… (Also, on a side note: I find it funny how my brother believed it was Aura when Emonzaemon just went, "hmm" in one quick moment, but moments like Gintoki being a badass in Gintama & Lelouch giving an epic inspiration speech in Code Geass don't make him say it was at all…) Speaking of Shichika obtaining morals, during the fight against Biyorigou, Shichika learns that he can't just fight without a reason; he needs to have his own free will to decide why he wants to fight. For half of the anime, Shichika has been fighting others because Togame has ordered him to do so… but now, Shichika is fighting because he wants to… he's part of the journey. He truly needs to want to fight for what he wants, instead of doing it because he's been told to. Shichika believes in Togame, and because of this, he wants to truly protect, obey, and help Togame throughout their journey because of his own will! Great stuff with him! Very proud of how he's coming to be!! :) But during the fight against Biyorigou, it eventually shuts down because its solar-powered energy finally runs out… As they pack it up in a box, Shichika sees how pretty the doll looked, and Togame gives out a quote that, "When the eastern wind blows, let out your scent. Plum flower without a master, don't forget Spring." The quote itself is about longing, loyalty, and the enduring power of nature. It's a reminder that even in the face of misfortune, beauty and connection can endure. It's revealed that the doll was modeled after the woman the swordsmith loved when he was young, so it's possible that the swordsmith made the model based on her. After his absence, the doll was expected to continue blooming no matter what… and this is probably why the swordsmith made this doll as a perfected blade in his eyes… …and then, near the end, we see how Togame wants to hear Shichika say the line, "I believe in you!" once again, cause it's something she wanted to hear… which is what those small instances from earlier reflect upon this moment: 1. Togame didn't want to hear Shichika make fun of her house. 2. Togame wanted to hear something meaningful from Shichika when she said the two are finally alone, but failed to come up with a good comeback line, which made her disappointed. 3. Shichika says that he believed in Togame that she insisted on wanting to hear it again!! So, overall, this was an episode that just had many great moments with the characters! We now get an understanding who Emonzaemon is, we get an idea of how the sword smith wants to perceive swords as, and Shichika has been developing so much that not only is becoming much playful and expressive, but he's also having his own free will and coming to an understanding why this journey shouldn't just be something he goes through just because someone told him to come along... ...and yet, my big takeaway for this episode wasn't from those characters... it was actually from Togame...! I'm gonna say this now, but this is the first episode in which I start to see who exactly is Togame finally... Throughout her journey, she's come to slowly open up to Shichika because she's gradually been trusting him even more than at the start... but you also got to know that, back in her past, she had to go through betrayal that what she seeks from a companion is for someone to cooperate with, but to have someone to see her for who she truly is... ...and the episode, you notice more that she's showing a lot more of her vulnerability while with Shichika! She doesn't let Shichika make fun of her house slide that quickly; she asks to be carried by Shichika without letting Emonzaemon know, as he's leading them to the abandoned lake, Togame makes a big deal of believing that Shichika might suddenly fall for Hitei, that she gives out a sense of jealousy, and she asks Shichika to say the words that made her happy that she wanted to hear them again! But here's something that clicked onto me about her, and it's in the same scene in which Shichika randomly decides to tickle her as she's trying to explain her plans onto Shichika on how to defeat Biyorigou... she gets annoyed after being tickled, despite Shichika showing his playful attitude during this moment... but a few moments later in that same scene, after she explains her plans, Togame asks for Shichika to hold her, as if wanting comfort... This was the moment that made me realize... Togame is someone who wants someone to see her for who she is, someone who tries to act tough and serious in front of others-yet still wishes for comfort from the ones she gets real close to, someone who makes a big deal of small moments and doesn't easily let it slide, someone who despite failing tries again, and overall someone who is just emotionally sensitive... and, idk... after thinking so much about who she is, I then stopped only seeing Togame... but instead, I began to see... me... Togame has several aspects that I, too, have. Not being extremely weak physically, of course, but more so in how we feel emotionally. We both have been betrayed at one point, and we wish to be with people who would like us for who we are.. I'm someone who also acts stern and serious when in public, but when I'm alone... I just want comfort too... and, I'm not ashamed to say this, but I too can be emotionally sensitive... Togame is probably the only character that I can say I truly see myself within... There were many whom I say I can relate to, whether it's with the goals they have or how they act in person... and there are those I connect with their story on an emotional level... but Togame?? She's someone who I now see myself within... and I'm gonna be honest; this realization made me realize that I no longer just like her as a character, but I now love her as a person... and, if I love Togame because she reflects who I am... then I have to learn to love myself, too...! And, yeah... there's been many times in which I do a stupid decision that I end up to hate myself for doing so... but now that Togame has become a self-reflection of myself, it made me realize that, if I love her as a person, I should do the same to myself... even with flaws, I should just forgive myself, choose love, and live bravely... and ngl, as someone who discovered this anime back in 2020 and it got be interested because of my vast interest in Togame back then, I'm thrilled to see that Togame ended up as a character who would be a self-reflection onto me... and because of this, my love for this anime deepens even more... :) Because of the realization, it's precisely why I have to say that this is now my #2 favorite episode for this anime... and the order overall is now 7>8>4>3=1>6>5>2 And, of course, I got to mention that I love how the ED song reflects on what has happened in this episode overall, reflecting mainly on Shichika and how puppet strings shouldn't be attached to anyone, but instead have them without them and fly within their independence!! It's cool to consider how that's something Shichika is now going through while Emonzaemon is on the opposite side, where his strings are still tied to Princess Hitei's. Oh yeah, the preview!!! Er, HOLY HECK!!! MOMMY MANIWA FINALLY GETS HER TIME TO SHINE!!! 🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵...er, wait a sec... *remembers that each Maniwa always gets killed off* ...WAIT A SEC??? AH HECK!!! (... Here's hoping she somehow survives in EP 9... It's still a 1% probability... I CAN'T LOSE THIS MANIWA!!!!!!) P.S.: Whoa, Houhou Maniwa got a new arm??? O_O |
