Ehh. It didn't seem so bad in the last episode, but the way Oda went about things in this episode was too much. Lying to the group and deliberately sabotaging the trip... I mean, it's one thing to encourage Ai to confess, but you can't force someone to do so, and the degree of pressure he was putting on her wasn't appropriate.

It made me annoyed with him more so than sympathetic to him.

Also, I hadn't thought about it this way, but even though we as viewers know that it's highly unlikely Takeo would betray Yamato, Oda doesn't know that. Intentionally throwing a wrench at someone else's relationship is really in bad taste.

For once, I'm actually glad someone didn't confess.

Just went to Tokyo Disneyland one week ago, this MM Land is exactly the same, lol. Future Zone, tea cup ride, everyone wearing nekomimi...

Well, this episode didn't match my expectations. :( It's getting really boring.

Another great episode!
Hayato is a sly person who is very good at planning and setting-up things!
LOL at Takeo easily spooked by those scary kids stuff!
Ai was always cute and flustered when she's alone with Takeo.
LOL at the centrifugal force that Takeo thinked of...kinda useless!
After all that solo time of Ai with Takeo, she really didn't have the courage to tell him...or maybe the timing is wrong cuz of that damn announcement speaker...oh what a moment! That scene when Ai almost told him her feelings, the BGM was perfect and really suits!
Nice one Suna! always ruining the moment of the two!
5/5.

Finally an episode I can say I [somewhat] enjoyed. Mostly because of the older sister though, the rest wasn't THAT great.
Just need to find out how to quote this every time so I can dodge the stupid 30-character limit.

I feel for Ai's part on this episode. This one hits home.

But to my part, I confessed..

It was the best thing I did. I was happy I was able to do it, The whole story would be worthy of a new thread lol but long story short I was able to hold her tight and say the words "I love you".

No it was no fairy tale. In fact, we never happened, but I was honestly thankful I was able to do that. Holding it in like that would kill you, saying it and knowing the answer is much better.

I didn't wait for an answer though, through the years my feelings went away themselves and in the end maybe my love wasn't strong enough.

Lol why did I write these things down, this is an episode thread lol.

Naww that was cute! I liked the love boat ride. But darn it Suna! Why'd you gotta ruin the mood like that, let Takeo and Yamato kiss!

Although certain parts of this episode were weird, like Yamato caring about the jinx but then dismissing it, and Takeo being like "it's okay, I have plenty of time before I have to see Yamato again!" Like wut

GOOD SUNA MOMENTS IN THIS EPISODE!! LOL, I love that since there were 5 of them (3 when Takeo and Ai were alone), he was always the one left out on the rides!! It was SUPER CUTE when Suna had a -_____________- face and two popcorn containers around his neck. :P LOL when Suna ruined Yamato and Takeo's potential kiss moment. <3 HAHA <33

I like that Ai acknowledged that she loves it when Takeo laughs and treats her like an older sister, so there really is no need for her to tell him her feelings. :)

I do like the fated feeling in this episode when Takeo and Yamato searched and found each other. <33 Same goes for when Oda found Ai. <33 <-- Where was Suna in all of this? :P

ANYWAYS! LOVELY. <33 It was just wonderful to see Takeo and Yamato in their own world, Ai watching over Oda, and Suna watching all of that... :P

I literally LOL-ed when I saw the two MM characters do the Titanic pose and then next thing you know...it's Suna and Takeo sitting together in the boat :P

Basically, it made sense for Takeo and Yamato since they're a couple, and Oda and Ai since Oda is pursuing her... Then, there was just Suna. :P

How does one drop a hot dog lol

I don't think it's a surprise that Ai couldn't confess. She wanted to but couldn't bring herself to possibly ruin their relationship.

Such a great couple those two are. So close to the kissing and then out of nowhere Sunakawa appears.

This was a great episode. Unexpectedly got me in the feels and then Suna ruining the moment again while being all, "don't mind me, just watching the parade," actually made me laugh out loud.

I think some people are being unfairly critical of this show and missing the point. Not every anime needs to have some huge contrived drama or a deep, over arcing plot. I mean, everyone is entitled to their opinion and I can understand if you, personally, feel like the show would be more enjoyable with more drama, but I think you also have to admit that it is successful in what it sets out to do. The type of enjoyment this anime brings to the table may not be your cup of tea, but I think that's completely separate from whether or not and anime is 'good' or 'bad.'

I really appreciate how the characters in this show are all likeable, but avoid being cliche. The characters are all simple, but also somehow layered at the same time. I thought I would hate Suna from my initial impression, but he is quickly becoming a favorite. I thought Yamato would be a very typical moe girl, but I love that she has a reoccurring inner conflict over not being 'pure.' I enjoy that the show is just a fun, sweet, episodic romance without the tired will they/wont they, grave ~misunderstandings, love pentagons that seem to be so prominent in the genre lately.

I will say, however, they need to tone down the LOL LOOK HOW MUCH OF A SIZE DIFFERENCE THERE IS!! thing. It takes me out of the anime more than anything. The parade scene where her entire hand is the size of his thumb was just distracting and uncomfortable. Like, we get it - he's a large guy and she's a petite girl .. but the exaggeration sometimes is just too OTT.

This is pretty much how I feel about the show in general, minus the size difference part from the quote haha. Yes, there's a lot exaggerating, but I just find it amusing due to being very appreciative of couples with large size differences. I'm still enjoying this series very much and I'm one of the people who love it for what it is.

I'm still not feeling Oda, regardless. With anyone having doubts (and someone called him creepy), I'd say they weren't wrong to feel that way. I mean, take Ai, who already rejected him. So instead of accepting that, he pursues her again, only to try and know more about the guy he was rejected for. After that, he plans to get her into confessing to her crush, something she was clearly uncomfortable and not eager to do. (I mean, Takeo is in a relationship now so there'd be no point if the goal was to cause some damage between them and maybe even Takeo and Yamato when she comes around again) Note, Oda is too concerned about Ai whereas he's still thinking of himself. He says it to himself in the beginning of the episode. "How will I ever get a chance, if you don't settle this?" I understand he wants her to find closure and have her head filled less with Takeo, but either way he had his chance and she declined him, so end of story. That's legit creepy to keep going after her, but some people aren't seeing that so well. They're a bit too clouded by him showing his own selfish desires under the disguise being 'considerate' and 'nice'. The intentional act of him making sure Takeo's phone would be dead later wasn't even cute, imo. Ai's right, he's kinda horrible to that degree. I don't hate Oda or anything. He's just incredibly shady and doesn't really deserve to be with Ai. He came back to dig into business that didn't even concern him. His feelings are one sided anyway and she just sees him like an acquaintance.

Personally, since Suna is supposed to be so perceptive, I was kinda waiting on him to call Oda out his shit, but I guess things would seem dicey with Yamato still being around so he decided to keep quiet and not get into business he likely didn't feel like getting in between. At least that's what I imagined, anyways.

Aside from that, Suna might seem like a 3rd wheel at times, but I guess if Yamato and Takeo are perfectly fine with him being in their company (minus the accidental times of them about to share a kiss), then I've got no complaints. People stating he needs to find a girl though....haha, please no. He seems fine just the way he is and since he stated relationships are a hassle to deal with, that's that. It's rather uncool to want to shove a character into something they clearly have no interest in dealing with. I feel a lot people tend to forget about the types of individuals who aren't interested in relationships, romantic/sensual love and all that. Even a character who can be suspected to be asexual, people still wanna cram them into pairings or having sexual relationships with others character who showed even a little interest in them instead of it being a mutual interest on all sides.

Wow, this got long, but I don't get to see enough people talking about certain things enough so reading certain comments so far just made me uncomfortable.

remember what Oda said to Takeo when Takeo asked what will Oda do if Ai's crush did reciprocate her feelings? he said that it'd be for the best and he'd just be happy he's not trying to be the rebound all he wanted was for Ai to have closure on something she's never gonna get. do you want Ai to forever be alone pursuing some unattainable thing for the rest of her life?

Oda wasn't even forcing Ai to confess, all he's doing is providing her the setting she needs the confessing part is still decided by Ai.

can you tell me what part Oda did was "forcing Ai to confess"? did he kidnapp Ai's mom and threatens to kill her if she didn't confess? did he threaten to eat her favorite chocolate cake if she didn't confess? that's what forcing is..... what Oda's doing is only creating the setting for the confession, he's not forcing Ai to confess because her confessing is still her unbiased choice.

Haha there's a such thing as someone not having intentions to confess to the object of their desire when they're already in a relationship. She was strong enough on her own to get over it when she needs to. If she doesn't decide to have closure, then that's her decision. She didn't ask for his help about it in the least as that was all his idea, taking matters into his hands without even trying to make sure she was comfortable with it (I've stated this and her discomfort & nonacceptance was clear as day). I'm not sure why there's people that think him getting his way isn't at all harmful/disrespectful to any party.

what? Ai wasn't strong strong enough to get over it on her own she clearly shows she's not, shewas fooling herself saying she's gotten over him when it's clear as day even from suna's perspective that she isnt

Ai was hurting and Oda saw that when he saw Ai was crying as she was saying Takaeo's name in the hypnotism that's the whole reason why he even went there..... with your logic you're basically saying what Takeo did to Yamato by slapping the mosquitos in the forest when they got lost was wrong? Yamato didn't ask for Takeo to do all that, Takeo knew that those Mosquito's are going to harm her hence he took the initiative likewise Oda saw that Ai was hurting/crying when she remembers her unrequited love in the hypnotism

Ai DID have 100% of the decision whether if she wants to confess or not in Oda's plan, HE NEVER FORCED HER TO DO THE CONFESSION because all he did was make the setting she needed.

Allow me to clarify that you're replying to me several months after this episode even aired and this series has been done with, so pardon me if some things I say sound like they're inaccurate because I have to re-remember details of this episode.

When I say she was strong enough to get over it, I don't mean she wasn't hurting because it was already that clear. I mean, she's at least strong enough to not confess or get some real closure while Takeo was in relationship because she has respect for him as much as what he and Yamato have. It actually takes strength to stay respectful of others and keep their happiness in mind, whether you wanna be with them or not.

Yes, it's all too clear why Oda bothered with trying to handle Ai's pain, but I've already mentioned that it legitimately wasn't his business. It's sweet he cares, but again, she didn't request for him to even talk about it with her. And you're applying that logic to the wrong thing, so don't. The huge difference between Takeo and Yamato & Oda and Ai is that the former pair is in a relationship. The latter is not. You don't have to ask your partners to do anything to help improve your safety/well-being. They just do it sometimes. Oda and Ai are acquaintances so it's easier to overstep boundaries when you are not even friends with someone. If someone I was acquainted with was making plans I didn't agree to help me get closure with someone I liked who was already in a happy relationship, I would be super uncomfortable too. It's a little cute he cares about her, but he didn't have to do that. He was more concerned with trying to get with Ai so she could have eyes on him and think less about Takeo.

And I know, I've already stated it was all her decision to confess or not. I don't know where you think you're hearing that she was forced, but kindly step back and listen because I never explicitly said she was forced at all. All I said was the little things he did to put his plan in motion was shady and made things his concern that shouldn't been. You don't have to don't have to use force to make someone feel uncomfortable on any level. The set up and his encouragement/suggestions to confess tempted her a little, but she still wasn't all for it because she didn't go through with it anyway.

Aww, what a heeartwarming episode! Every ep is like that, but this one was special, mostly because of many emotional scenes and of course a huge amusement park! :D

Poor Ai, but that's how the life works. A person she fell in love with loves somebody else. Good to see this anime handles that kind of things pretty realistic, despite epic, but still unreal, "Takeo's superpowers". And it's nice that it shows a woman being rejected instead of a man.
Ai is a good person by the way. He doesn't have negative feelings towards Yamato nor she's not being annoyed by her in general because she is Takeo's girlfriend.

Oda was trying so hard, but he partially failed. Partially, because it seems that Ai found peace in her heart. His machinations were mean though, I stopped liking him. xD

Yamato falling into Takeo's hands after they found each other was priceless.

Suna once again accidentally ruined their moment. xD

I'm actually quite disappointed with how Ai's situation was handled. Now, she'll never get the closure she doesn't know she needs.

P.S.: Yes, I still think Takeo x Ai would be a more interesting pairing.

This past few episodes have been a massive drop in quality both animation-wise and in terms of plot.

When Suna's sister first appeared I didn't really mind, it was an arc that opened and closed rather quickly or so I thought, because the unrequited love arc is back and it feels really really forced.

Setting aside the fact that it's tremendously inappropriate for a grown woman to be crushing on a 15 year old, this arc brings back a storyline which we all thought was closed, lacking the basic decency to give its characters some closure.

It's rather disappointing considering how much I liked the show coming into this arc. Hopefully it can recover.

Another amazingly sweet episode! Too bad they split up and Takeo & Yamato missed out on all those rides together at the end.

I've been there as the 3rd/5th wheel so I felt for Suna.

Poor Nee-san, at least she got a little bit of closure with the pajama story.

I died at that face swap in the next ep preview!

Takeo, miss Yamato, Suna, his sister Ai,and her college friend Oda all go to a theme park. At first it seems like Oda is a manipulative dude. Though it turned around and Oda is truly trying to help Ai get over Takeo. This anime is so wholesome a d bubbly! Scratching something nothing else can! Love it!

Again, another annoying pushy character with irritating voice showed up, and for some reason the author dont give what he deserve, like kill himself.
I dont like this kind of character, you can also see his variant in couple of cuckoos and dangers in my heart. Well i cant do anything though but just low the sound if not, im sure i might also hate the voice actor.
