It's about 100k difference I think. Actually Snk beat One Piece in first half sales last year and NnT beat One Piece this year in first half sales so One Piece got beat twice in a row. Though its only first half sales. The overall sales will probably end like this. #1 One Piece #2 Nanatsu no Taizai #3 Shingeki no Kyojin or SnK at no.2 and NnT at no.3 ..its only first half who knows what the overall sales will be. |

Nonetheless, congratulation for nanatsu no taiza for getting. The #1 spot for the first half and also the same for assassination classroom for getting the #3 spot. I've look into the top 100 individual sales and fairy tale is getting some anime boost effect as well. Tokyo ghoul is also doing pretty well, that backlog boost! If they were to include both re and prequel together, Tokyo ghoul would be in 5th position. Food wars doing pretty good as well, I hope when prison school anime airs, prison school manga will get some boost. It being in the top 20 would put a smile on my face. Overall great sales for most manga even owari is doing pretty good. |

Damn, SAO still proving it's a hot seller in LNs. Only one novel was released for both the regular series and Progressive and it sells enough to make the top 10 competing with other series like Oregairu and Danmachi which have airing anime and even Mahouka which had its anime wrap up not too long ago. I'm even more surprised at GGO Alt. Has to be one of the best selling spinoff LNs I've ever seen. |

Sword Art Online and Progressive didn't even release any volumes this year and it still ranked #7 and #5 respectively lol. And Alternative only had 1 released volume in 2015 and ranked #11. The franchise is OP. Oregairu, Mahouka, and DanMachi were the obvious top 3's. |

I'm already seeing the drop in sales for the backlog sales. Though I heard that nanatsu releases a volume like every two months, so who knows? Being honest though, I would like to see another series getting the #1 spot for the full year for once. You're a one piece fans so it doesn't bother you that your favorite series is always #1 every year. But to others it gets pretty dull, and just to see something else at the top for the full year would be a good change for once. |

The only one with the highest potential to beat One Piece at #1 spot is Shingeki no Kyojin. @2013 - 2mil difference @2014 - 100k difference @2015 - probably at 3rd spot Next year, SnK's Season 2 of Anime will start and the Manga will get crazy boosts again and it might dethrone OP. |

So this is safe from cancellation for the forseeable future right? This series has so much potential in the long run and so much careful planning for those future events ill be so happy to see it actually have the time to follow through on them without worry of it ending abrutply expected this to be higher TBH, especially with it in its final stages and all |

Great news for AssClass. It's a wonderful manga and show. Also glad to see Fairy Tail and Nisekoi doing well for themselves. Hoping FT will break the top 10 this year. As for LN's, yay DanMachi is doing well! Season 2 soon please. I wish DRRR, Amagi, and The Devil Is A Part Timer would sell better. Looks like Shinmai Maou, World Break, and Absolute Duo are doing well for themselves after their anime have aired. Looking forward to the next season of Shinmai Maou. |

Great to see NNT at top, probably won't last but still nice. Magi dropped a bit. Good to see Tokyo ghoul still selling well. Fairy tail 12th, well that's not too bad. DanMachi 3rd in light novels, that's good. Looking at the volume sales, Boku No Hero Academia was almost top 30 sales with it's first 3 volumes, pretty good. |

Sad that Magi is doing so bad. It dropped a lot. Then again we don't get as many frequent chapters and not sure if they count adventure of sinbad and Magi separately though they should not just like they should not count TG and TG:Re separately. Does not make any sense. Congrat to NNT for being #1 for the first half though I expected it since I was following the weekly sales. Anyway OP would be #1 for the whole year most likely since NNT's sales are dropping. Their huge sales was because of the anime hype and they don't have that anymore so their sales would decrease a lot for second half. Though OP has to sell 2 more volumes to beat NNT if not NNT would win. |

The Parasyte boost has to be because of the live movie(their BD sales tanked so badly). NNT number 1. TG is on AssClass level, that is impressive. But Both are still ants compared to SNK. |

Look at the Magi sales again, 25 did better than 24, which proves the Alma Toran flashback was the worst thing to happen to the series, it almost killed it. |

^ I am not sure if anyone else has noticed this but to have two manga from the same author in Top 30 is quite a feat, even though it's been a while since Strobe Edge ended (must be because of the Live Action). Other than that, I am surprised that Nanatsu no Taizai took the first spot from One Piece. I wonder if it will be able to keep it until the end of the year. Rest are expected. Glad to see the following names in the list: Shounen: Gintama, Shokugaki no Souma, Ansatsu Kyoushitsu, Koe no Katachi, Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun, Kuroshitsuji Sports Shounen: Haikyuu!, Ookiku Furikabutte Seinen: Otoyomegatari, One Punch-Man, Uchuu Kyoudai Josei: Chihayafuru Shoujo: Natsume Yuujinchou, Orange, Kimi ni Todoke LN: Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru., Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata, Hataraku Maou-sama!, Durarara!!, Log Horizon, Amagi Brilliant Park |

This series has so much potential in the long run and so much careful planning for those future events ill be so happy to see it actually have the time to follow through on them without worry of it ending abrutply The mangaka has been suffering from ill health in recent weeks & as such the series has been given a "regular" spot towards the back of the Shonen Jump anthology. I'm not sure what this means but I'm hoping it means they are giving the series some form of protection while the mangaka recovers. |

How MAL presents the different sales list (Top 100 Bunko, Top 100 Books, Top 20 Literature, Top 20 Shinshou Novels, and Top 50 Light Novels are the lists i'm talking about) from Oricon Youtaiju is very confusing for people who don't follow sales closely, so I don't blame you guys for being confused here. It ranked 2nd on the "Bunko" Top 100 sales list by the way. So obviously it won't be on the Top 30 Light Novel Series, unless it is also a light novel. The light novel list is a compilation of the Bunko and Book rankings which are also light novels. EDIT: This happened last year as well, so really that should be a sign for MAL to change how they present the data here. It seriously doesn't take much longer to present it according to how Oricon Youtaiju releases it. |
