| Damn, this is entertaining. So well-animated, so clean-cut! Never thought I'd be into naval battles. The song at the end was so perfect! This is it. I didn't want to but I am in, more than willingly. 9/10 from me. |

| I'm watching as someone who has never played the game so it's a little confusing. I found myself running to wikipedia often to look up ship names and classes etc. Pretty cool though if you like history, seeing old destroyers turned into anime girls haha. I'll stick with it I think. A little more explanation about the various kinds of ships would be nice, maybe they're assuming a viewership that has played the game before? |

However, for an anime adaptation of a web browser naval battle game, the story looks quite decent and it was surprisingly entertaining. And the fact that it has actual animation during action scenes doesn't hurt either. |

| I never like settings with girls only, I personally feel like that is always the most disturbing thing you sometimes see in anime/VNs if it had at least 1 male chara, (like ichika in Infinite Stratos) this would easily be on my watchlist. That way I could start making romance theories at least. But without that, I think this is just a homage to those who play the game in Japan. Too bad, since I'm sure if the game was available for the rest of the world the anime would also have much more faithful fans. |

I knew he wasn't female, but from the way he acted around the girls, I wouldn't have called him male, either. Also, the only male character in this anime is the Admiral... i.e. the viewer. You. They are YOUR ships. YOUR waifus (if you decided to marry them). I dunno about other TTKs, but I don't want some filthy random male lay hand on MY Haruna. He'd get a cut-in attack right to the kisser |

| That was...interesting to say the least. It definitely reminds me of Strike Witches in the sea. The concept of the different ship parts serving as their armor/weapons is interesting and the action is pretty cool so far. The characters themselves aren't really doing anything for me yet and the interactions feel a bit bland as of now. Most of the humor felt like tons of inside jokes and I'm not sure if that's just something that will make sense later or was meant for the fans of the game. It's also discouraging that the director has worked on several works that I didn't enjoy, but I won't over think it and say that it at least served to be a fun first episode for the time being. |

They should be kept in your mind tbh. Thats really the truth. I guess its like a stinky armpit but that only implies to negative comments. No one ever likes negative comments. I always keep my negative comments to myself because I know that no one really wants to hear it. |

| I told myself I won't pick up any shows this season until I finish my Fall backlog. I tried really hard to stay from this. I can't, I lost XD First thing I saw was Wo-chan. I knew it was going to be good. Then I see one of my favorites, Haruna. And then best girl Nagato, and then OTP shippers' paradise (pun intended!), and then...and then... Yep, I was smiling the whole time I was watching. When Fubuki and Mutsuki commented about having a scary person in the fleet, first girl I thought of was Tatsuta haha. I actually thought the show would be something like the 4-koma "Fubuki Ganbarimasu!" but I see (hopefully) they're going the more actiony route. I kind of hope nobody sinks though. Great episode. POI is justice. Hibiki is love. Hoppou-chan when?! |

| I keep getting spoiled on the anime I plan to watch (when the series are finished) so I decided to watch this today. Lots of things to say. 1) Their teitoku is shit. This idiot doesn't know how to balance fleets, that 3CL 3DD fleet was a freaking suicide mission. But then he decides to place 4CV 2DD in another, and then leave off the BBs for the third? Stupid faceless admiral! At least give him a voice and make him Producer-san from iDOLM@STER. 2) Don't worry Fubuki, if you're Teitoku doesn't descend into further retardation, you'll get your kai ni. Speaking of kai ni, it's ironic that she and Mutsuki (useless trash) were talking about scary people before they went to the Nightmare of Solomon. Too bad no Shigure though as a counterpart. 2.5) Don't bother firing your useless 12.7cm guns DDs... you have torps for a reason 3) Shoukaku, but no Zuikaku? Get your crafting right shit admiral. Speaking of CVs... Yes you do need to improve Akagi, you're still completely statistically worse than Kaga. Speaking of Kaga... I'm disappointed, she doesn't carry on the same monotone charm that she has from the game. 4) Best girl KTKM gets a spotlight, HURRAH! I'm guessing at this point they won't bother implementing the Kai Ni art for any of the ships. 5) Melon-chan gets no lines. Sad. 6) Jintsuu why did you order your CL/DD fleet to go into Line Ahead formation?!? More baka than yasen-baka. |

| Looks good! It's kinda weird how they have all these weapons being attached to them. I really thought it would be them commanding the ship, but them being the actual ship :O Yeah i only heard of the game and not played. It looks interesting and i can see why it became big in Japan. In any i'll watch along. It's good to have some sea battles once in awhile ^^ Can't wait for the next episode. |
| So I'm watching Kantai Collection because I've read some doujins... in some... website... And as of now, I'm enjoying it! Oh, it's Fleet Girls vs Abyssals. So this revolves around Torpedo Squadron Three namely Fubuki, Mutsuki, Yuudachi, Sendai, Jintsuu, and Naka. And Fubuki's first battle involves Carrier Task Force One, Support Fleet Two, and Torpedo Squadron Three. Can't wait to see more Akagi and Kaga. (^_^) Also, seems like the Admiral told Fubuki some things to make her want to do her best and become Akagi's escort. |

| What a strange premise, and there was hardly any character development (so far). It's likely not meant to be taken too seriously. The animation and action were amazing, which is probably the whole point of this show. I loved the arrow-planes. :D There weren't any LOL moments, but it was a good time overall. And I'm glad they didn't force magic skirts or fan service to the point of awkwardness; they found a decent, realistic middle ground. 7/10 |

| Decided to watch this after recently getting into the game. Well, I knew it would be pretty plain, but that's part of what allows me to enjoy it more (basically, lowering my expectations). The other big part is that I play the game, so I like seeing and hearing them. |

| Oh wow, it's so weird seeing the game mechanics in animated form. It's hilarious, enough so that I'm not minding the awkward CG. Seeing the equipping and sortie mechanics, the way they skate on water, the the way aircraft works, ship damage, and character gimmicks lasting for more than singular sound bytes isn't bad per say, but they're so off putting that I can't figure out how to react to them. It was a terrific choice to play the game first before watching the anime adaptation. It looks like that was supposed to be a combined fleet, having Akagi as the flagship for a Surface Fleet and Kongou as the apparent flagship for the Escort Fleet. I'm not sure what Jintsuu's fleet was supposed to do besides to get wrecked, and I'd question the Admiral's decision in sending Fubuki out there like that. At least, he could have put Fubuki as the Flagship so everyone would protect her, but hell, this is an anime, so I'm just gonna let it roll. So far, I'd hesitate to call this accurate or even good as a standalone anime yet, but it's sure as hell fun. |

| OMG THAT CG (half of episode) WAS THAT AWFUL, THAT MY EYES HURT SO MUCH. MY GOD, WHY?! Seriously, I hope that it will be sol series, because CG is unbearable (and action in general is boring). That fight looked like shit and those pantsu shoots are not compensating this shit. 3D is just fuckin bad. |
