| Slow? the episode was not slow. Big screentime and development for Nishida and Komano, and you gotta love how Taichi let her play Ousaka. Great episode, next week should be intense. |

| I did a happy little wiggle when Nishida thought about Tsutomu during the match after his realization about his opponent. I had the same reaction when Nishida asked if he was playing named time, ahhh. X3; Ended up laughing when Chihaya was in agony and even teary about not playing the aces though. xD;;;; |

| lol @ Shouyou -> Show you! But they are strong. Chihaya is being considerate with megane guy, and Nikuman-kun couldn't understand him until during the tournament. lol @ the kimino girl. Fortunately, they won. Fortunately, Arata is safe unless they write the "apology" form (?). lol @ the Chihaya and Taichi's eternal rival team, so many pressure from Nikuman-kun's sister. Both Taichi and megane guy know that the team order for opponent might change. |

| Porky started some drama that felt awkward and a little unnecessary but I guess it was done to highlight how hard Desktomu-kun is working for the team's sake. Arata still can't meet up with his friends from Tokyo, it's like the author is doing this on purpose for some kind of suspense effect. Overall, decent episode. |

| Chihayafuru's back in its stride with this week The previous two episodes weren't bad but they lacked "Chihayafuru punch" that made me fall in love with the show. At the beginning I thought Porky's drama felt a little contrived and forced but as the episode went by I saw that he just didn't understand how Desktomu has always been helping the team his own way if not more so than the people playing the match with his data. As a student in university/college, I can 100% agree with what they were saying about data gathering, research when you're actually trying SUCKS : P The character drama was very well done this week For me the reason why the show lacked the oomph it had was that there was very little risk of Mizusawa losing in the beginning of the tournament. We barely knew anything about the opponents beforehand unlike the teams they are facing now. The semi-finals opponents have had seeds of their rivalries planted in earlier episodes/season. The all girl highschool team is looking to be a particularly tough team in the same tier as Hokuo. I liked how we were left wondering if the opposing team didn't think much of Mizusawa or if they thought so highly of their ace. I think the latter Looking ahead my personal hopes are for the show not to forget the Hanano and Tsukuba. They had nice focus(if a little too much) in the first 5/6 episodes but have kinda fell by the wayside recently. |

| These episodes need to be longer T_T Not as much kurata as expected this time, but lots of focus on the work that Komano does and how it helps the team. We haven't focused on him for a while so I thought this was really nice. I can't imagine the effort that he brings to getting information on the opposing teams ... thank you! :') Plus he's playing in the semis ... YOU GO BEAT THEM! Such a nice touching moment with them winning and the group hug :3 Thought it was a little abrupt how they just burst out saying they won though ... I mean they obviously turned the tables but yeah, thought something was missing there :P Loved the pun ... Shoyo ... show you! LOL XD So all Arata has to do is write an essay of apology? That doesn't seem too bad ... he gets to play too! :P Next match should be tough ... battle of the aces! I can't wait to see how this one's gonna turn out ... Mizusawa has to win! Right ...?! Loved how "it was so according to plan it was sad" ... haha XD It was nice of Chihaya to offer to be in the second position though ... ah, how she's changed :') |

| First weak episode of the year. They resorted to a cheap gimmick to produce some false drama. Well, two gimmicks actually. First hiding the extent of the conversation about who would play; second, the imagined significance of Nanase's position. Oh well, still not a horrible episode and I'm confident that they'll crank it up again next week. |
| amazing episode :D i can understand porky wanted Desk to play due to wanting his team to play till the end. but you have to consider that gathering data is not an easy task!! come on now Porky!! lol porky ate too many curries!! "Show you" :P good thing Chihaya put Desk out for the mean time. since she notices how hard she got all of these data, and feels desk is too tired to play! love Kana chan's pout :) porky should thankful to Desk that he remembers what he said about the enemy and how he guesses only. he really loves to play as a team huh!! lol Za Queen using Arata's clothes after being drenched from the rain, and his phone XD how the hell did Chihaya forgotten Megemu during the match between Yumin last year!!! Sudo san is watching you tokyo team!!! Mizusawa Fighto!!!! don't screw this up!!! let's see how Megemu plays against the future Queen Chihaya!!!! argh i want the next episode now!! |

| Now is time for Chihaya to show she really leved-up. Timer to use those stuff about playing like the master and Shinopu to full effect and show that she mastered them. can't believe how anxious i am for a game of karuta to start. | episode seemed slow. but yay for another victory! It sucks how Arata can't cheer them on anymore if he wants to stay in the tournament. But the next episode should be good since it's chihaya versus a girl we already know is super good! |
