| Of all the things I don't want to see in a kyoani anime, this ova had all of them: a dull and boring fanservice episode, annoying characters, dumb plot and set in a swimming pool. If this was featured in the main series, I would have dropped its rating by one point, regardless of how future developments would turn out. 2/10 |

| I watched it as a LQ rip by mazui. It was barely watchable. pixels everywhere and permanent water marks blocks the view. regardless of that, they should have thought of a better mystery for them to solve. it was too plain and simple. ill definitely re watch it again when it have a proper release just to see chitanda on a bikini. POOL EPISODE! of out 10. |

| That horrible quality... Me eyes are sad. Especially because it was a fanservice episode :/ It was an okay episode. The mystery was way too easy. The fanservice parts were good, and I'm happy KyoAni didn't go overboard. It was funny to see Oreki checking out Chitanda the whole time :D I didn't like how depressed Oreki was. It was understandable since it was after ep11 though, but to put him in that condition into a special fanservice episode wasn't really the best idea imo, it needed way more life. So yeah, for these I'm gonna give it a 6/10. |

| That's a nice and lovely ova and so good to remember the time i speend watching Hyouka... (Nice times) Just hear the same songs on the ova remember me from the anime :p So i think that a 2° season will be very good. |

| Oreki sneaking glances at Chitanda was just too funny. Not much of a mystery but I don't think that was the point of the episode. Oreki overcame his slump and is back to his old self! ^^ It wasn't as good as other Hyouka episodes but it's certainly something I wouldn't have minded watching as a main ep in the series. Oh well. |

Houtarou isn't the only one that was aroused out there xD Chitanda can make him do whatever she want so easily :P Houtarou is slowly changing, even though he kinda went back because of the last episode. But I think that what Mayaka told him gave him a good shock, and she was right. There is two tsundere in that show, Mayaka and Houtarou : ''I don't want any flattery...'', yeah, yeah, keep saying that xD |

| Just saying but that translation is as wrong as it can get. 持つべきものは is from the saying 持つべきものは友だち roughly meaning "things to have are friends" so 持つべきものは is "things to have" most likely referring to the saying about friends. |

| Our obligatory swimsuit episode, I see ... we finally see a little of Houtarou's sister! :3 Which results in him doing some work eh ... a bit of fanservice with the swimsuits, but not too much. Yeah, he WAS pretty quiet, even for him ... so I guess the others had to find a way to get him to loosen up a bit eh? Though I gotta say that "mystery" was kinda lame XD Oh well, and even Chitanda admits that he's special to her (the other two too, of course ;P) ... loads of "embarrassing can't spit it out" moments lol XD Pretty enjoyable, but nothing amazingly special. Of course, the awesome animation and music (dat intro cello hnnnggg *_*) was great ;D Back to the main series I go! 7/10 |

| Tasteful fanservice. This is how every fanservice episodes/OVA should be done for every non-Ecchi shows. It doesn't violate the characters in any way and it leaves some for your imagination. Good stuff. Also, damn Chitanda is so pale. If she wore a black bikini, it would have been the end of me. |
