| Mmm, nice ending. This arc though, was NOT as good as the Benizakura Arc, but BETTER than the Itou Arc. There was a whole lot of action in this one, but a lot of still frames with moving backgrounds kind of thing, unlike Benizakura where there was a lot of action action. But it was still better than the Itou Arc. |

| Interesting that Kamui/Kagura's dad (forgot his name atm) says that for the Yato clan, one moment of hatred ruins everything and they don't hold on to love, like humans do. But isn't that what Kagura is doing? If she, like her father says, still wants to save her brother no matter the hatred in her voice -- isn't she just like humans in that respect? She loves him. Anyway, awesome arc. Kamui is great and Kagura, like always, was the best. |

I really hope there'll be a fight between Kamui and Gin-san, it would be one hell of a fight (but I do hope Gintoki would win of course). It would be super epic :) |

| Yay! Abuto survived! How could I ever doubt him! I liked the arc, was exciting and moving, some annoying parts, but many likeable and impressive characters (Abuto, Tsukuyo, Housen), and I thought the story was very well told. That's what I thought. But then, Housen obviously loved Hinowa even after she ran away, and Gintoki seemed to have hit the spot when he said Housen was a friend of Umi Bouzo. Who probably also still loves his son. Abuto and Kamui have apparently fought at least once, and Kamui helped Abuto up instead of killing him even though he kept saying he had no interest in weak people. I'm not sure about the last example, as Kamui seeems to be batshit crazy, but it still seems the Yato are kinda bad at recognizing feelings, and judge themselves more by legend than by their actual actions. Every single one of them has shown some kindness and Yato-untypical behaviour. Maybe Gintoki's "everyone and everything can change"-speech applies here too. Edit: Oh, and just as I was thinking that I was kind of missing all the other characters and it was time to see a little bit of Madao, Gorilla, Zura and so on, bam! the preview promises an episode full of Gintama goodness. Ayup. 8) |

| And it's over. This is one of my least favorite arcs in Gintama. Housen and Seita's stories just didn't interest me, the only good part was the action and boy was there a lot. Perfect for my shounen needs. Oh the new characters are awesome as well. I love Tsukuyo, Kamui, and Abuto. Ginpachi-sensei also served for a good laugh :3 |

| I wonder how Gintoki escaped all that without any visible injuries... :o Man, things look alright for now but looks dangerous for Gintoki too with Kamui preying on him! Anyway this has certainly been an awesome arc! With the action and all! Would love to see more of Kamui soon... WIsh i can see him with Kagura (fighting or just to make amends)... Anyway this is "The Blaze of Yoshiware 1st Chapter"? So i suppose there will be more later?? Hope so! XD Ginpachi-sensei's funny as usual! |

| My favorite Gintama arcs so far is this, the Shinsegumi Crisis arc and the Benizakura one! (The latter two being the best imo) There was a bit too much melodrama, but it was great overall! What i'm really interested in seeing more of is Kagura's brother! What a creepy ass stalker villain but also really cool! I know it's an anime-cliché to just have the bad guy searching for a worthy adversary, but Gintama doesn't have that yet and it's gonna be awesome seeing them duking it out! I'm also glad they didn't made him a "not-so-bad-after-all" bad guy like what usually happens with Gintama villains. This guy is freaking nuts and he's got the taste for Gintoki's blood xD |
| Boo, I wanted to see a real battle between Kagura and Kamui. Gin barely won, and only with the help of everyone else, and the sun. But the real problem will be when Kamui and Gintoki fight each other, Kagura will not forgive either one for killing the other...that will probably unleash the real beast. Kagura = WIN, always and forever! |

| A nice end to a very nice arc. I just wish Kagura's brother didn't want to fight Gin-chan so much. It can't be helped it's in his blood to fight strong people. Back to jobs and random punch lines! |

| Tsukuyo is amazing. And my new favourite. Decent enough arc. Loved the quick snap back to comedic moments. Friggin' toy store. L o L. Saw that coming. Gunna be interesting seeing the outcome of the fight later on. Kamui is pahrettty crazy. |

| This was a pretty great arc, though it felt like it dragged on a little as it progressed. The first half of the arc was the best in my opinion. This is still one of the better arcs in Gintama. But of the "Big 3" action arcs so far, this is probably my favorite, or my second favorite (behind Shinsengumi Crisis arc), it looks like things will be back to normal next ep! Also, I like Tsukuyo, can't wait to see more of her! |

| I really liked the last scene between Gintoki and Hinowa. In the end, he got that sake served by the most beautiful girl of Yoshinawa with a smile on her face :) Those two last question to Gintoki-sensei, so spot on xD We'll see for sure Kamui again. I didn't expected Abuta to make it out alive. It was pretty cool when Kagura appeared saying she would kick his brother ass :P Well, it was a nice arc. A lot of family related problem and the black market of prostitution. But Gintama always no how to put great humor in dark subject. |

| Nah, I still don't feel bad for Hosen at all even if the beginning of the episodes had FEELS moment. Hosen was a fool. Guess Kamui vs Gintoki will take some time. Sigh, this is just like Takasugi's case; they both didn't fight Gintoki at all. Abuto was alive and he says Kagura is stronger than Hosen? Holy shit, doesn't that makes her the strongest person in Gintama then? Umibouzo's conversation with Gintoki!! That unexpected foreshadowing!!! Gintoki vs Kamui might happen after all! Kamui is so gay for Gintoki lol, he won't let anyone else have Gintoki. The conclusion this arc was nice, nothing's changed except Hosen is no more and there is sun in place of him. "Give me back my first time!" ROFL that poor guy when seita tripped and shoved the dildo in that big dude... way too late man, you already lost it! XD This has to be the longest arc of Gintama. 9000/10. Such BAness by Tsukuyo, Gin and Kagura. Loved that scene when Ginpachi sensei rejected those letters ROFL. I guess that's how they do it irl too XDXD Finally Zura appears in next episode, I need some breather refreshing eps too, Yoshiwara in Flames arc was so intense. |

| This arc has been way better than Benizakura -which after a very engaging mystery storyline ends in a clusterfuck of uninspired shonen tropes and a fight scenario that makes no sense- and the Shinsengumi crisis -with the Yorozuya being inserted just because and Gintoki hogging the final fight- but still not a top favorite. I guess I prefer the arcs that combine serious and comedy instead of relying too much on the first, but the thing is that I have found various emotionally engaging and powerful moments in this arc, so in the end it felt way more than the previous two as a wasted opportunity to make something truly and completely memorable. My biggest issue here was Kamui. I'm quite honestly getting tired of this shit, Takasugi is enough as the top tier villain who appears and hypes the arc only under the promise that he will be back soon for a real fight. I am the first who wants his issue with Kagura to be explored and dealt with but his presence in here seems to be only for the sake of hyping. At least, I would have liked some interaction, and some further presence of Kagura's bloodthirsty nature in the story. It was really fine when it was shown and was easily a highlight (Kagura and Shinpachi vs Abuto is probably the best part of the arc, along with Tsukuyo's heroic resistance against the Hyakka and the last moments of Hosen), so I kind of expected more screen time for this. Next episode has Katsura, Otae and Madao. Good ol' times are back again. |

| Perfect ending for this arc (espacially with the recap and the ending song). We heard a lot of interesting things. So it's like I assumed that Kamui wants that Gin get stronger to fight with him. Was nice to see Umibouzu again. And of course the typical Gintama funny scenes xD Omg that toy store and when Shinpachi and Seita ran from this big guy haha. I hope we will see a lot more from Tsukuyo. I would love to see her and Gin more together. So next episode back to the roots with good old Madao, Otae and some more. :) |
