Daisuke is a badass..the way he found through those punks.

They went with a lot of action this episode for the operation. Even Katou got some screentime as he works with him to escape. What a penultimate episode, almost felt like a series' finale. Lot of action and thrilling moments.

Katou finally getting over his fear. I think Daisuke's father is headed to the laboratory that they've been searching for. Looks like everything's going to wrap up soon.

This episode was... conflicting. Especially in the second half. I wasn't sure whether to be concerned, laugh, or cry. And I was wondering actually if Kambe Shigemaru knew what they were talking about. Like before they met face to face on the ship because Shigemaru has more authority over HEUSC right? So he totally could've been listening in on all the planning they did on the ship. So it makes you wonder why didn't he do that?

Also, yay Kato! He got over his fear and was able to shoot. I doubt he expected something Daisuke to say something like that to him lol

I was internally making jokes about Katou getting to stare at Daisuke's bum. I was chuckling when he asked Daisuke to stop for a while since it felt like he wanted to get a better look. But, they were just jokes. I didn't think Katou's face would end up there! lol. This anime puts Free to shame with its fan service. (I wish it wasn't just fan service, though.)

Seeing Daisuke getting kicked oddly turned me on. WTF! Σ(っ °Д °;)っ

Why was Daisuke surprised when his papa used HEUSC? Isn't that guy the original owner?

Hoshino is back to acting like a Katou fanboy as if, deep down, he had never truly stopped. I am having a hard time accepting that because he had been rather disrespectful and uncooperative to Katou throughout the series, and nothing big has happened to change it. The letter-scene at the police station last episode was too short to change someone so much.

Sometimes, the technology in this anime really takes me out of the story. This episode, it was the flying bike.

The scene where Daisuke was about to arrest his father felt like a nice conclusion to the episode, but then I remembered that one more episode was left, so there was no way that would work out. I really respect the creators for not plotting the episode in a way that ended with a cliffhanger during the arrest scene. The way they did it here was more interesting.

The independent dynamic of Daisuke continues to hurt Haru's advancements, and if they don't work effectively together, it'll be the end of the both of them.

In the seeemingly excruciating ""firefighter" independent roles of both Daisuke and Haru, the fight of father-and-son grows with exponential uncertainty.

Only one thing remains: Haru's overcoming of his fears to properly shoot his gun and be a hero of justice. And Daisuke's action clearances are not done yet, his business with his dad must be dealt with. I'd imagine Haru from Day 1 that he paired up with Daisuke, he didn't know what he was getting into, but subsequently he did.

At long last the final battle between father and son, but with HEUSC control? The final episode to go, let's see how things will end up at the family mansion.

Dang, this episode was a bit too cheesy for me and that's a bit disappointing seeing how much I loved the show and it was ramping up.

Those two guys with weapons that just watched Haru hanging onto the ladder, I can't. Make your dramatic actions scenes at least slightly believable. 11/10 scenarios Haru would have just been shot down and he was completely exposed to their bullets, but I guess we have to let the guy with the fancy hand have all the fun.

Flashbacks during action scenes are also something that I'm sure everybody loves and Shigemaru just feels like such a BLAND character and there's only one episode left, so it's not like we're going to be blown away by his motives or anything.

Edit: just to add a bit to this, we're nearly at the final episodes, if the storytelling is doing its job, we wouldn't need mid action flashbacks to remind us that Haru is scared of using his gun.

After so many episodes Haru finally becomes somewhat useful. I honestly dont even know why he's even in the show since he barely works with Daisuke and hasn't been useful these past couple of episodes. The writers did him dirty.

Finally, all Kato needed was a big push in order to fire. Daisuke being Daisuke. Too bad, his father has access to HEUSC as well.

OMG! The fanservice is real in this episode XD I felt bad seeing Haru constantly getting beated by Daisuke lol That ungrateful bastard... if he wanted to hear a thank you, he should have thanked Haru first. Simple as that -.-;

I was surprised to see PS5 Controller. Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this little promotion >w>

Well, of course Shigemaru wouldn't let himself being arested that easily! The final chase will be next episode and I can't wait! >-< I'm happy to see Haru get back to being a hero :)

Great episode! Daisuke was a baddass as always! Sadly it will end last week ;-;

Without a doubt a Great episode like the rest. However, this felt too rushed.
It was just BAM BAM BAM. Something suddenly happened every second. They were here now they’re here and here. It’s like they just wanted to get over with it. I wish it was more elaborate. Felt like too much. But don’t get me wrong. This was still amazing and bad ass!

It's just absurd that Daisuke and Haru failed to catch Shigemaru when he's just sitting there, alone. Yeah, he has control with the HEUSC but come on they should have handcuffed him right from the start they cornered him.

Some of the dialogue was pretty fucking cringe like that hero shit that Daisuke was spouting. I love his show but the cheesy dialogue and intentional but vapid fan service thrown to the hungry pack of fujoshis that hound this series for any morsel of BL can be exhausting tbh.

I'm not gonna lie, the part where Shigemaru escaped seemed so stupid. He's an old man and two young, fit cops couldn't capture him? Also that silver-haired guy looks like Victor from Yuri on Ice, guess that's what happened to him after getting dumped by Yuri.

That was such a ride, most of the scene made me go all “Oh shit, please be alive” though all of these wouldn't happen if Haru could just shot him in the previous episode. If he shot him, they could quickly go to the engine room and faced Shigemaru later on, they could've even arrested him successfully...

How did Haru climb up there so quickly without getting shot or getting noticed, that kinda looked so impossible to me.

I think that “Hero” thing doesn't really suit this anime, just that made it so weird. Got so used to with typical shounen anime doing the hero things.

And that obvious fanservice...i guess they put that up since it's gonna end soon.

That Victor looking guy, he's so annoying, there's the original Victor who's so elegant, this guy makes me want to punch him.

aw, daisuke being in awe of haru... yes haru the best boyಥ﹏ಥ
tho that moment would have been more impactful if they actually had more interactions as a duo/partners.

such a pity that it's the last episode next week. would have loved to see them work together as partners and not haru always just being the lamer one of the pair/being a decoy while daisuke is off being bad ass by himself lol. and tbh this arc for me is mad boring, i couldn't care any less for it at this point, daisuke doesn't seem to give 2 farks about his dad either, and what more can they squeeze in to one last episode

suzue and her bbt lolollllll that was cute

Whew, that was an intense, action-filled episode! I was so proud of Haru for overcoming his trauma and saving Daisuke. As Hoshino said; the hero has returned!

This ep showed how much Daisuke has changed too; he's finally thinking about other people when he takes action and he's not shutting Haru out anymore; they're a team now and Daisuke treats him as such!

I'm gutted there's only one ep left. I don't know much about the novel it's based on but hopefully, there can be another season because this has been awesome and I would love to see even more from Daisuke & Haru!

Hilarious to see they used a PS controller to shoot those drones xD

I was also surprised Daisuke choose justice over revenge and by the looks of it, it also surprised Haru.

The way Daisuke fought the enemies is so cool! Of course, with the help of Haru. Haru overcame his trauma because Daisuke believes in him. And Daisuke is acting like a real police, serving justice instead of wanting to get revenge. It's good to see that Daisuke and Haru are working together as actual partners. Unfortunately, Shigemaru escaped. Next week will be the final episode. I'm excited as f!

People are complaining about fanservice and fujo-bait (there barely is any anyway, just 2 dudes interacting with each other) but these same people would probably be completely fine with two females being in the same situations they're complaining about lol

Anyway, I agree with other problems people have with this show though. Daisuke and Haru don't have the greatest chemistry, there's some cheesiness in the dialogue like the "hero" talk, just okay animation and art, none of the characters are very compelling. It's had some good moments though. Hope it finishes strongly at least.

i feel like good chunk of character development between earlier in the story and this episode has been simply skipped. their current dynamic looks pretty forced, and frankly, even watching them get randomly wasted in pajamas made more sense.

It feels very much a "by committee" designed show, it's clearly attempting to capture multiple audiences at the same time without committing to anything. as a result the interactions come off as extremely sterile.

Compared to something like, let's say, Tiger and Bunny were you could feel the passion from the staff, this has none.

The animation budget tanked for this episode. Close ups and medium shots of characters looked ok but anything further than that was janky as hell. Frame rate for action scenes was abysmal. A lot of scenes that should have happened on screen were just cut away from to avoid animating it entirely. eg: Daisuke jumping out for attacks, the helicopter rescue, etc. Hope they fix this for the bluray or something. This is really bad for such a high stakes episode leading up to a finale.

So underwhelming... I can't tell if it's because only half an episode's worth of content is stretched out to fill blanks or because the end is rushed and a failed cliffhanger (cutting at the scene where they first meet up with Shigemaru would've been so much better), but it feels so utterly bland. The interactions seem forced and I'm not sure where they're coming from? It was more logical and natural when they were drinking in pajamas. The fanservice/baiting is so blatant oml I want to unsee please how can they bring down the characters to 'hot bois that are also v kewl hehe also cash and tech uwo'. Disappointed. Opening and ending still slap. Speaking of which, animation quality in general just went 'not stonks' so there's that. Pretty cheesy dialogue at times and awkward interactions: it feels like since the authors suddenly realized they had one episode left, they just rushed everything. Hope the finale will be alright, but i doubt twenty four minutes will be enough for a good solid resolution AND providing Shigemaru with an actual motive/personality (because yes, worst and most bland villain I've seen in quite some time). Also, why is Daisuke always shooketh at the most logical things? Like,,,of course his father can use HUISC too -_- Literally anyone coudl've figured as much. I'd wanted more action and less slice of life up to episode 6 but now I regret getting what I wished for, because clearly this is not what I had in mind.

I am a fujo and the only thing that could be classified as a fanservice for us in the whole damn series, is the literal headbutt in this ep.
If there were so many instances of it, that it could be called "exhausting", I would for sure enjoy the mains relationship way more than I do...but I honestly don't give a fuck about it because their chemistry is pretty much zero.

Sanjis voice. Surprised to see him here. Kambe's dad giving a dude 100 Million to beat his son lol, we can see where Kambe got it from. Happy to see haru being able to shoot again! That suit is overpowered.

Kambe meeting his dad was nice. Sucks that he is a murderer. Wonder how they will end this series. The dad def looks like he is dieing next episode.
