Three episodes were streamed today. This third episode had the best art imo and actually felt kinda realistic. I mean, a woman living in a creepy apartment with that cliffhanger? Hmm..

seriously the live action bits so far are the dumbest yet hilarious things ever. at least this episode was somewhat scary now they just need to cut back on the narration.

since only 3 episodes came out I can already say I'm not going to like this season but I'm at least hopping it's better than seasons 2 and 3 but with the constant narration and lack of scare's as well as no creepy ending theme I can't say for sure but at least it's not making me laugh like season 2 did so that's an improvement. I also hope they do something with the old man like they did in the previous season where the kid turned out to be the old man and explaining how he became that way.

Glad they got three out at once today. I am enjoying this, as expected by my personal tastes. That being said I wish they would have gone with a less perky sounding end song. Doesn't really fit the mood.

poor episode!!!

The first night when you change of house is complicate, but if you find a scisors, orations in a paper and a human hair under the floot, begin the nightmare!!! xD

Excuse me lady, did you see the top part of my head?

Well, summarize all three episodes. The 1st (for me the best), that twist at the end was unexpected. 2nd meh, you definitely wouldn't see me going near that fishtank. 3rd was alright again, but still pretty predictable; first thing you do when you enter a new house dispose of the hair that is wrapped inside some charms and pierced with scissors into earth.

The episodes had an eerie/spooky feeling to it, what was good, just the narration (is there to make more realistic, with asked man going around and telling creepy picture stories) was of putting and really Tokuto sings the ending, so not fitting. Makes me wonder if this one will finally be the end considering they show masked man going home.

Did anyone notice how the narrator was different each episode? There are 13 people on the official artwork for this season, so I think we'll get 13 episodes with a different storyteller everytime

And in the last episode they'll tell us how everyone is connected

Ok, after three episodes:

-I prefer the old narrator but it doesn't matter much.

-Sometimes there's too much narration.

-The art generally looks cleaner but in exchange for less frames and live action portions that I'm really not a fan of. Not particularly grievous but something of a step down. If there's something I thought season 3 did right was it's animation so it's a little disappointing but w/e.

-Way better than S3, probably a little better than S2 so far.

Looking forward to the rest!

I could guess what was gonna happen judging by the scissors shown at 1st. Bt that jumpscare was nicely done. At the end though! Now thatss the yami shibai we love.

I liked the episode compared to the first two released... but I feel that the constant narration and random real life scenes just take away from any suspense that could've developed over the episode.

Seeing as it is only the third episode, I'm going to give it a chance and hope that this improves.

Is it just me or does the narrator's voice change per episode?
does this mean there is more than one of them?

The art this season is a lot better than the previous ones, but the content just isn't that great. Seasons 1 and 2 were the best imo, had creepy stories and genuinely spooked me out without jump scares. Also I could do without the narration throughout each episode.

More lame stories and a narrator who never shuts up, destroying what was left of the atmosphere. Great...

Less narration and more atmosphere please.

I miss the old narrator.

And I honestly didn't like how the art changed. I prefer the style of the old one, this one is....too "clean" for an horror story.

The narration just kills this for me. After three episodes, it's pretty clear that it's not going anywhere, this is the theme for the fourth season. The narration totally divorces me from the story, destroying any sense of immersion or atmosphere making it impossible for me to get even a little unsettled by the story. Perhaps the live action portions are there to counter-act that, easy to be more immersed if it's tangible people right, but it's just jarring and off-putting. At least here, I kinda liked it in the first episode.

If you're right about the different narrators each episode (I couldn't really tell myself but I wouldn't be surprised if you're right), then I'm pretty positive the finale will bring back the Storyteller from the past three seasons (well, mostly one & two).

*sigh* I hope they stop narrating the episodes soon, I'm gonna be kinda upset if it's all season long. It really ruins the atmosphere that it's trying to set up. Like this episode's story was fairly good compared to the other ones thus far, but there's no need to tell me that there's a floor board that's different or that there's a pair of scissors in the ground because I can already see that.... >.>

The narration was implemented better than before, there was a lot of mystery and the real life footage of the talisman and hair gave me shivers.

The only thing I didn't like too much was the ending where someone called her in the middle of the night, it should have been an eerie voice, or silence, with a jump scare in the end.

Overall a pretty good episode, still can't get over the crappy ED though

No but that was a good episode though. In one way, the student is in the wrong, but on the other hand, she's just doing something she feels she ought to.
I have a feeling I'd probably do the same thing. I mean, if I realized right away that it was possibly a talisman, then I would have probably left it there just in case. If I had only realized it was possibly a talisman after picking it up like the college student here did, then I also probably would have just thrown it away, put it on the table, or try to but probably unsuccessfully try to put it back.
And I gotta say, this college student sure is brave. I wouldn't have opened the board when the noises were coming out-- or I guess nowadays I might have to figure out what;s what then get some sleep.

I guess overall, there was something one could relate to with this; I plan to move out one day and who knows what will have gone on in wherever places I end up living. They could have told the college student a little something about what went on though.;;

There are two lessons in this story. Never buy cheap apartments and stay the fuck away from talismans.

The ghost reminded me of Corpse Party, which is a good thing and the live action blended in well. Nice episode~

Decent episode. Actually felt like it could be in the first season, though the live action parts are REALLY starting to detract from this.

NARRATOR-SANS VOICE IS CHANGING EVERY EPISODE BUT WHY DO THAT UNLESS IT'S SOMETHING LIKE THE NARRATOR IS HYPNOTIZING KIDS TO BE THE NEXT NARRATOR (PLEASE DON'T TELL ME THAT'S RIGHT).

Those irl/live-action shots are truly creepy but do feel out of place sometimes. The scissor lodged into locks of hair and a talisman is some cult ritual type shit. If I ever see something like that I'm definitely staying away from that place.

I really don't like this season's narration, and not to mention, the narrator for each episode seems to be different.

These irl shots do nothing for me. They don't really add to the show whatsoever. The narrator also ruins the mood by talking about every little action the victims do. Im also surprised people like these few episodes more than s3. While s3 was not good, the monsters were horrifying sometimes.

I don't think that the story itself was bad, but the excessive/bad narration and the dumb live-action scenes ruin the mood.
