| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- So we get screen time between Cecil and Natsuna this episode. Not bad I'd say even though they're still not the best of friends yet. I liked the bonding though! I see Natsuna in a slightly different light now with this episode. Not too shabby although I'm still not a fan of her personality yet. Dat gun. I think Natsuna respects Cecil a bit more now too. |

| Hehhh, so Natsuna is finally accepting Cecil. I loved how she stayed up all night contemplating Cecil's determination to save her mother from death row. Bet she also flogged herself mentally for her completely unnecessary behavior towards her; it's about time she realized Cecil is more than she looks. |
| Lol so much emotion and character development in this episode. At the end that shot scared the shot out of me. I thought Cecil got shot in the head! |
| Nice character development.. Some screen time between Natsuna and Cecil. Finally Natsuna is accepting Cecil..kinda glad she was up at night thinking about Cecil's motives for becoming a wizard barrister.. finally seeing Cecil for who she is. After this episode, my view on Natsuna has changed for the better. That escalated quickly, and it also finished quickly. |

| Cecil does a pretty good impression of the Nana Genie :D Nice to see Cecil and Nattchi spending some much needed time together. Nattchi seems to finally accept Cecil now, or is at least starting to. What are the odds that they run into the prisoner and Shibuki and Kiba , oh well. Interesting turn of events though. |

| Since Cecil has only 17 she looks like childish, but it's good to see that natsume finally connecting with her, that was a nice develop. Don't know why the anime has such a low rating here on MAL, I'm enjoying. I think the art style and the whole thing of lawyers put some people away from it. |

| Why should Umetsu have to write a plot that actually flows when he can instead center the narrative around nonsensical coincidences? First, there was the hitchhiker. They're in the middle of nowhere in the Northern U.S., so who should they happen to pick up? Why, a Japanese woman who wants to become a mage lawyer, of course! And then they're eating at a random diner and right after they've finished eating, who happens to be robbing the place? The fugitive! And who saves them from the fugitive? Those guys from the other Japanese law firm that NOT ONLY HAPPEN TO BE IN CANADA, BUT ALSO HAPPEN TO BE AT THE SAME RESTAURANT AT THE EXACT SAME TIME!!! GAH!!! HOW CAN PROFESSIONALS WRITE THIS SHIT?! I'M GONNA LOSE IT!!! |
| Lots of character development this episode. Anyone else think the hitchhiker is Momo or her freind/cousin? Chessy ending :/ for an othetwise good episode. Wow her hair is naturaly that color unless her dad dyes his too. |

| Is it wrong of me to say that I love the character designs of this show? They're unique, unlike a lot of other anime I've been watching lately, and the colors aren't too outrageous. I don't want to try to over-analyze it but they all look clean even though you know they have rough interiors. |

| This was easily the best episode so far with a good pace I liked the length of this trip which has the air of "Eden of the East" Nana genie tagging along was so nice to see along with his quirky remarks, bon bon bon Natchi really got on my nerves with her moods she needs chocolate or a p*nis which turned out to be the latter with her sobby crush Anyway some great bonding has been shown and what's going to be shown next is interesting as well with Cecil meeting her father Oh and that Helsing name drop, would have loved to see Alucard appear with his trollface xD |

| They fly to Boston, and the highway signs at the checkpoint were for "Hollywood Freeway" "Ventura" and "San Pedro". Clearly all locations you'd expect to find in Massachusetts. Speaking of the checkpoint, that has got to be the most blatantly obvious foreshadowing I've ever seen. He was quite the pushover though, considering they had checkpoints up 500 miles from where he was... Apparently that successful law firm only owns really old classic cars, and then they don't take care of them. They would have been better off in a rental, except Natsuna wouldn't have been able to poke around the engine. 72 Octane. They went to Wal-Mart (or clone thereof). It was very accurate. I wonder what route they're taking? They sure seem to get off the beaten path... Sorry, I make long drives like this pretty often so I got pretty into it. Interesting Fact: The main 4 islands of Japan are about 1200 miles (as the crow flies) from tip to tip, or about the same distance that Miami is from Boston (or how far San Diego is from Vancouver). But they're only about 150 miles wide. Ok that's enough geography. |
| That was a pretty good episode with some nice character development... The trip to USA did seem a bit random and what is the chance that they stumble on a wud on the way to CANADA :3 coincidence? I smell something about Kaeda. |

| 4/5 Except for the plot, I see that the anime is going to ruin, but what the hell is going on? Drawings and animations really disappointing too. Narrative that is saved in extremis, but not 100% convinced. Finally there is a bit of insight into the characters, but the part with the thug was not who knows what! ^ ^ " Really good party, the anime is falling, but I keep it hard, I want to see how far they want to go. |

| So many coincidences, it isn't even funny. Seriously, A Japanese WUD Wizard Barrister hitchhiking in the middle of nowhere in a foreign country. Still, I guess shit like this could happen, even if there's really really small chance. But also, the Shark guys are also in Canada? I guess every Japanese wizard loves Canada, but who wouldn't. Anyway, 5/5 only because of Canada. Can't wait till they go to my home province of Ontario (if they do; but Cecil is from Ontario anyway so I'm guessing they will); I really want to see how the anime represents Ontario. |
