Hi there! Just wanted to apologize about spoiling TTGL for you due to the forum I posted about my cousin. I felt it was my responsibility to apologize for everyone that suffered a spoiler.

I left them a reply under ask aynonimosly, but they did not answer it.
Sorry I misspelled.

HI! We have a medium-high anime compatibility so, YAY!

Hmm I like season 1 and 2 of Pokemon a lot though but I will try XY once I complete more of my watch list

Card Captors Sakura seems really promising. Classics<3

Hi I ran into your profile when looking on discussion about Youkai Watch(I want to try the game~)

So you like Pokemon XY and Cardcaptors Sakura? I haven't seen the first one yet but that childhood friend interest me

Indeed. Well-said.

Same for me.
Too much series to watch, but don't have the time for any of them. It is kind of frustrating.

Hey, it's been some time since we've last spoken. :)
I agree with your post on the forums regarding the MAL's community. Not much we can do.

Anyhow, I've written a quite lengthy Clannad: After Story review.
Perhaps you'd like to check it out?

I hope you don't misunderstand, I don't mind the preview so soon, but I wouldn't want the Moderators to bug you later on. ;)

Just want to say that Kineta understands the Guidelines more as Rules than Tips.
Have already had a chat about with her on the matter once.

"Two episodes should be enough to bring in an initial review for this series."

Not really.
Do read the Review Guidelines. Previews for 1-cour series can only be made after 4 episodes have aired. All sooner previews get deleted.

This is only a friendly warning. :)

I decided to post a copy of my reply to below comment here for my own reference...

When I'm much younger and anime was occasionally available on mainstream TV, I just watched anything that I liked. Back then, the anime was better than whatever they are offering on children TV right now.

Now that I can be more selective with whatever I watch online, I'm pretty picky on these aspects:
1) Humor - tasteful ones, bonus if not sexually explicit
2) Action - decent animation quality and fight sequences
3) Story - has to be interesting or exciting, bonus if there are clever twists that you never saw coming. The best ones are those that you can't wait to watch next week
4) Philosophy / Knowledge - tied to story, with bits of wisdom inside. The best ones are those which leave you thinking about life long after the episode ends.
5) Music - the music has to be effective.
6) Characters - you have to be able to relate to the characters somehow, or have some sort of emotional connection to them, be it liking or hating them / having mixed feelings about them. For example, if the villains (if any) mean nothing, they are not effective.
7) Art Style - I can often tell whether I will like the anime just by looking at the art style alone. Bonus if it is unique and looks good by my standards.

There are also certain genres that I gravitate towards. I like fantasy, action, magic, adventure, slice-of-life. Shojo romance is acceptable depending on how well-done it is.

I don't appreciate mecha, deep psychological anime, over-sexualization, gore, excessive killing. I also don't really like harem type anime. There are still a few exceptions to these rules if I can overlook any of these. (e.g. Kill la Kill, I dislike the henshin costume but I really like everything else about it, including the music.)

There are also some genres that I got tired of due to the industry's practice of refreshing them with new characters every year. This is the case especially with Sentai/Magical Girl Series (i.e. Precure). This is also the reason why I don't really care for the card fight series anymore.

I understand. Even though I'm not one that thinks reviews should be done until at least the first arc is completed, it's fine. Both the series and review. I haven't seen the original with Seiya and the others though, so SSO is my first exposure to the Saint Seiya world.
vxnderground Jun 2, 2012 7:28 AM
Hi. I just read your review of Saint Seiya Omega and think that its the best one there. Dunno why no one else has voted it as helpful.
It’s time to ditch the text file.
