| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Nice OP song, might not skip it. It reminded me of The Idolmaster in a way. The performance was kinda weird though..it was almost in 3D:   The designs of the characters are rather simple but being an idol is hard. Anyways, not a bad episode overall and that purple haired girl found something interesting at the end seemingly. |

| I don't even... Okay, in the first place, I went into this thinking that it would maybe, just MAAYBE be like Idolm@ster. Of course I was wrong. Why the 3D dancing. It felt so annoyingly random. And the story felt way too simple. :/ I'm giving this a couple more episodes. This also reminds me of the Barbie movies my sister watches. Well, like I said, I'm giving this a couple more episodes. |

| I wish the dancing was not in the 3D style personally. I am a fan of idol shows, mainly to see the performances animated, but this effect doesn't really move me at all. If I was playing the game and these graphics were in there, yeah I would probably like it, but not for an anime. Other then that I like the gist of it. The card idea is very cute, and I'm excited to see how this will progress. |

| Just watched it, it was easy to understand even with just 4 weeks of Japanese :P I liked the show, I love idol shows :P Kyobotte said: First episode and she is almost an idol, so fast, huh. | Not bad, not bad at all except one this those CGI Like Fresh Precure had way better than this... and it was in 2009. Still will be following it - it's silly, but I like it. |

| The idol CG did look like crap, but it was still a lot of fun to watch. The lolzy moe moments were surprisingly nice. XD Idol drama foreshadowed at the end, looking forward to that. :) |
| I'll still stick with this a little more to see if it's any good enough for me... The CGI is horrible, reminds me of pretty rhythm. Well atleast the audience are audience compared to PR's lazy work of cut out paper. |
| Ep 1 was pretty good. I don't know what's really considered "good" in 3d CG models in anime because I've been spoiled by watching iM@S 2 performances and the models on there are flawless. I wouldn't expect that quality from any anime, but from what I can tell, it's the same quality as the cg models used in Heartcatch! Precure and the other Pretty Cure CG models after that. All in all, it's pretty nifty and since the story is more along the lines of a PreCure style, I'll stick with it. <3 |

| It's like a cross between AKB and Smile Precure. Catchy OP and ED. The card system is an interesting one. |

| CG stuff aside, I was a little annoyed at how fast everything developed. She decides to be an idol, trains for like...two days, and then passes a very competitive entrance exam? And why would the top idol want some girl she never met to catch up to her. I was expecting more of a rivalry building up. With 50 episodes I guess it will have to slow down eventually. |

Well, like I said, I'm giving this a couple more episodes. No.. no way. The Idolm@ster was far more entertaining, and yeah, this was far too simple, it almost felt like it's aimed for kids. How lucky that both of them passed while the others might worked tons harder but failed, how lucky that she was able to do that love thinggy on stage on her first try, how is that top idol asking MC to catch up to her quickly (spoke in low volume), and just wow everything is so simple.. But I'll continue to watch for the songs, might drop it if there aren't much singing.. |

| It was a fairly cute episode... but... that CG was just awful. It made it completely impossible to enjoy the performances. It's so bad, there is just no way I can continue to watch this. I can tell Sunrise allocates their money to mecha... |

| I'm not liking the 3D dancing, imo it's too distracting. Also it was pretty predictable that those two would pass the exam. I'll continue to watch it since it's pretty relaxing, but hopefully it improves. |

| Well it was high time for me to step out and explore what kids idol anime has to offer. I really like the music and so far Ichigo is an amusing MC. Aoi looks exactly like Makoto from AKB0048 so that was a bit amusing. The CG dancing is a huge turn off and honestly doesn't feel that exciting to watch but if it really gets better then I'll just give it more time and see if my eyes adjust. Obviously not watching for an intricate plot and so far it's delivered the simple fun I was expecting. |

| Been wanting to watch this but the episode count scared me away. Got into precure so pretty sure I can get into this. About the CGI,not to worried about that since I've seen screenshots that show that it clearly improves throughout the series. Main concern going into this is that I wouldn't like the music (which is kinda a big deal considering this is an idol show),didn't like Kazaki's song but did like Ichigo's. |

| I'm watching this in a wrong order because I started first with Aikatsu Friends! and Aikatsu on Parade!, but oh well. I guess it doesn't matter. It was a good start. Ichigo's first performance was beautiful!  |
