Intense episode.

Seeing that little dragon suffering like that was tough to watch. Auctions are terrible.

Looking forward to the next episode.

Glad to see that Chise actually got something out of selling herself, as awful as it was - at least their are positives popping up in the future. The wandering Jew is def one of my favourites in this show, and that dream (although it was more than a dream clearly) must have been terrifying. I'm interested in seeing how this new dark lady figure adds to the plot.

LOLZ! more hilarious characters from The College!
another bad dream of Chise and she dreamt the dreaded Cartaphilus!
Auction bidding huh...
lol at the awkward confrontation of Elias & Renfred! such tension going-on especially if Chise is the one involved!
Damn! the dragon that Cartaphilus experimented became corrupted! and Chise felt it's emotions thoroughly!
nice to hear Maaya Sakamoto from that hooded woman and lolz at the three dudes saying "that day"...it's like they are implying something lewd! lolz!
5/5.

OKAY WOW... So the comedy in this anime is just plain bad, and I've known it for a while now, but this episode is probably the worse I've seen so far. I'm reffering to the bit introducing the college people with the drinking. It's not that the skit itself was bad, but the music ain't good, and coming up right after that beginning bit with the dragon... just down right horrible timing to start messin around like this. Usually the comedy just falls flat or just feels inappropriate, but that just felt bad, it actually made me feel worse. Anyway, thats the only real flaw I have with this anime. Most of the episode was good.

I felt so bad for those young dragons who no more than kids having to go through something to traumatic and horrifying. This was a pretty sad episode, but it did have its comforting parts.

Elias is a pretty big cunt huh. Over the last five or so episodes I've really started to hate him, and I don't know if that's shitty writing or the actual plot and if the reader is supposed to start to dislike him. He's actually becoming pretty annoying and obnoxious imo

I don't think that's it because Elias starts by mentionning her frail body, nothing major happened to her during the tantrum. But then again Elias might start talking about something and Chise talk about the tantrum to counter. Not sure.

I’m certian she’s refering to the tantrum. The others though think it was something else much more related to doing things to certian stone fruit!

She s refering to Elias Tantrum.(THE BITING >__<) xD since Elias mention her frail body, she mention that Elias himself hurt her (its a love bite >_< hes marking her ) xD
Tho her word can lead to missunderstanding. ^_< LOL

The beginning of the ep. with that baby dragon was brutal. I teared up a bit. And then during the auction itself. Also, I don't trust this woman who speaks to Chise. I hope she's on Chise's side but one can never be too careful, especially in this situation. I wonder what happened to the other dragon... Also, the drinking scene felt really out of place.

Completly forgot this anime can be intense with the addition of its cliffhangers, the start of the episode was fairly brutal with those wired black things coming out or getting put in the dragon. Also what happened to the other dragon, I haven't read the original so I don't know but I got a feeling it's dead, then again I have a doubt that this anime would have that kind of death in it.

I wonder who is the woman Elias transformed to be? There is so much about Elias I'm curious to find out and I hope he was human and will turn back. I wish this form he took was his though it looked charming and very awesome.

Episode was intense with the dragon evolving (can't remember its name), the auction. Got to admit the humour was defiantly out of place here and Tory was just annoying. And the creepy white guy...split personality I'm saying. Next episode should be pretty good with the fall out from this.

That intro was really disturbing :/

I know Elias isn't human so his character and actions are hard to understand, but he's been a bit of a dick lately. I wonder if he has some sort of plan on how to keep Chise alive yet. Or maybe he's been frustrated that he's been hitting dead ends? I'm sorta just taking shots in the dark at this point though. Hopefully, we'll get a clue on this before the season ends. Right now, they need to take care of Cartaphilus >:(

The first part was full of bad comedy and needless reverse harem hints with lots of out of place SDs and one awful dream with probably the most annoying antagonist of this show. The worse, they even tried to make him look like he's just victim too, pretty bad use of this trope. Cartaphilus certainly doesn't work well as main villain.

The second part with auction was very good, although it did feel like the anime skipped some prior vital events and that those newly introduced characters did have some history that was omitted in anime.

Also, one has to hate it how this series always puts in convenient plot device just in the moment when it's needed (the money this time). They don't even bother to introduce those elements before to make it more believable. It feels really cheap when they are always using this story shortcut.

As far as we can imagine that the episode revolves around the character of Cartaphilus, but not so much, it turns out instead that it is quite Chise centric narration, but there is so much meat in the middle of this episode: we finally discover what is the " college ", we know aspects that were ignored, and there is also time to talk about speeches made previously and then set aside. But in the meantime of all these events, there is no lack of comedy; great characters.

So much for dying with no regrets, I guess the young dragons still don't have the mental fortitude to keep that in mind. Honestly it was their faults for getting abducted. They were warned so they got what they deserved.

Such a great episode and man I feel terrible for that kid dragon right there. That dragon just wants to be home with their friends and family, but instead was stolen, tortured, lost a fellow dragon who was stolen with them, and had to suffer through tons of fear and misery to get to where everyone were at that auction. It's cruel, its inhumane but sadly that's what happens a lot in life for centuries now for a variety of reasons. Chise hearing the voice of the dragon and the outcry due to a result of all of what that dragon experienced, broke down into tears too. Cartaphilius/Joseph is back again with this shit. The final few minutes were excellently done and just flat out creepy as an experience when seeing it at night.

Phew, almost thought they were going to give Cartaphilus a sympathy card.

So... why did he poach the dragons? To sell them off? Did he corrupt that dragon before selling to kill the auctioneers & people who deal with them? Didn't seem very effective, they got away.

Confirmed again, Elias in his new human form is creepier than with his bone face.

Dragons were the sole creatures we didn't see suffering, until this episode. Not to mention that surgery in the beginning, already was a big red alarm about the content awaiting us ahead.

Also I felt like Elias was a whole lot more sharp-tongued in his human form than what he is in his original form lol.

It was really painful to see the dragon being treated like that. The moment when Chise cried and understood the emotions the dragon was feeling broke my heart T--T I hope they can all save and bring the dragon back to Lindel.

Also Elias looked many times more fierce and menacing in the form of this long-haired woman. Who is she and who was the woman who spoke to Chise?

So, this dragon turned into something similar as Elias. I wonder if this happens to creatures that are pushed to their limits or if Cartiphilus had a hand in it. Either way this has to tie into Elias's origins somehow.

Elias new form is interesting, he behaves quite different. As i agree that lately he's been an ass, seeing him like this is refreshing, even if in the end all he cares is about *having* Chise, and not much else. She's not his bride, not his apprentice.. if he's in a good mood, he treats her like a pet, if he's in a bad mood, it's like she's nice furniture.

Also, in the dream about Cartaphilus in London, Ashen Eye was briefly visible. While it's too early to say that Cartaphilus is just a victom or whatever, there's cleary more going on, and Ashen Eye is obviously the one who ultimately pulls the strings.
