Not counting things i didn’t know were anime when I watched them like pokemon, yugioh, and like 2 episodes of naruto shippuden one time on adult swim my first anime was black butler and I got onto anime in middle school. I like some genres more than others like mystery and action and drama (if it’s not done super cheesy/cringey) but I like most genres as long as it’s done well enough. The main exceptions are sports anime and most magical girl stuff. I basically just don’t watch sports anime and magical girl has to do a lot to get me interested.
