Saiki Kusuo no Ψ-nan 2 is an anime that is an anime which is an anime so it's an anime. The anime is an anime that is an anime so it is an anime. The anime uses very anime looking anime to be an anime. Overall the anime is an anime that is an anime which is an anime. This anime uses multiple anime to show how it is an anime and sounds like an anime because it is an anime. The anime has multiple enjoyable anime episodes that are quite anime like which makes it different from other anime. It really feels like an
anime. Therefore, this is an anime.
Well I can say that Saiki Kusuo no Ψ-nan from season 1 is a good anime in comedy genre. Of course not because of the story or plot but the characters and personality make it a color of a story.
Instead of finding some good plot and story. I can say that this anime is worth recommended for those dying fans in term of Comedy well it's because it maintain the strategy of making people laugh.
Yet for those who want to watch this anime, yes you can understand why the character always give a big role tho make a excellent rating for this anime
I will make it short so that you can also give your own opinion in this show.
If you enjoyed the last season, you'll love this one as well. If you're new to the series, definitely start with season one. c:
Each episode consists of approximately 3-5 *disjoint* short skits. This is a comedy anime, so there is less of a focus on the story, art, and sound, while the jokes can be like gold. With how short and disjoint the skits are, it's honestly impressive that there is even a story. lol
Of the first episode, the first three skits are more to reorient you with the characters, so some old jokes and tropes from season 1 are reused without variation
as the characters are reintroduced. After you get past that, it's new content and/or new variations on old tropes which will get you hooked again~ Basically, everything you could ever want for a second season! :) Seriously, it makes me want to re-watch season one while I wait for more episodes.
Just awesome! Each joke builds up pretty well for a great payoff. Humor can be pretty subjective - I personally find the humor in this show beautiful. For reference, other comedies I like include Cromartie High School, Sket Dance, Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge, and Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun. Of these, I find Cromartie High School the most similar in humor.
Opening & Ending Songs / Sound: 7
Just to start, both songs are jokes. The opening song is incredibly dumb, as it's a joke on if Kaido, the chuunibyou, took control of the opening song. While the ending song has a super bubbly feel and is a joke on if Teruhashi, the school beauty, took control of the ending song. For me personally, I like the ending song and dislike the opening song. Regardless, I hope to see every character get their own theme song lol. All of the songs in this anime are jokes really so it's hard to rate on how "good" they are.
Somehow there is a plot...and it keeps advancing...again somehow? lol. But yes! The romance continues as more complications ensue. Who will become a couple in the end? I personally am rooting for Teruhashi. Unfortunately, this is not a romance anime, so alas, the chance any romance gets fulfilled is low. But geez, with season 2 so far, the author sure keeps my hopes up. Unsure if anyone else is as invested in this aspect as I am. The show can be enjoyed even while ignoring this after all...
And ignoring romance for a minute, I think what makes this show work is that while Saiki, the main character repeatedly states that he just wants to be alone, he spends an awful lot of time looking out for his friends, subtly helping them with his super powers to achieve their daily goals and dreams. Perhaps Saiki is a bit of a tsundere in this regard. Anyways, the concept is interesting, and there are a lot of clever ploys with the setting, so gave a 9 for the story.
The art is kind of bland. At least I'm not a fan, but it's not to the point where it ruins the show for me. I will mention that between skits there is usually an awesome drawing that beautifies each of the characters. It makes one think, is this even the same character?! Yes, the drawings between the skits are that good in comparison haha.
There is little to no character development - I hope this changes! - but anyways, each character has one or two distinctive characteristics that actually grow stronger and stronger throughout the series. Mainly since they are the most well-used tools in the author's toolbox for setting up great situations and jokes. Really, the worse the writer makes Teruhashi's personality look, the more I like her lmao.
Frankly, between the art, sound, and characters, this show is pretty average. But honestly, it does not matter much, since the humor and jokes are what the anime is all about. This show is especially great for when wanting a quick bite of humor without having to sit through a whole 30-minute episode of an anime. Definitely highly recommended! :)
