Pretty much all you need to know is that this is a slasher. Normally you'd call this a slasher-horror, but this one is just a slasher.

Most of the work is focused on gore, violence, dismemberment and body parts flying around, at the same time the characters are fairly well drown, with obvious focus on drawing pretty girls when possible. The story is technically there, but it doesn't make sense, and character aren't realistically portrayed or developed.

Meanwhile this is quite different from other works which focus on heavy violence (as in Pumpkin Night, Kichikujima or Children - by the way, I do NOT recommend reading read more

Ugh.

5/10 for art, 2/10 for the story, character, enjoyment and overall.

This is a gore fest going for dismemberment, torture, extreme violence and general shock value right from the first pages. Honestly, it is best described as stomach churning.

The story... there's not much of story told, as due to manga focusing on gore it largely only gets a two pages or so per chapter to put a hint about this or that character's background. While there's a story progression, due to gore taking most of screen time, by chapter 8 it didn't advance quite far.

The art is average, and characters are not exactly believable, although read more

This is poorly done.

It is a "reincarnation in another world" isekai.
The problem is that it is rather generic, pretty much goes through checklist of all the common tropes, protagonist is generic.

Also, female lead is annoying. It is obvious that the author wanted to make her a star, but tried to hard making her attempt to act cute, and instead her antics which were supposed to go "aww" look fake and as a result they are cringe-inducing and annoying.

I'd recommend to skip.

Details:

Story: 3/10.
Generic, slow moving and resembles checklist of other isekai. After reading 7 chapters I didn't really find anything that would set this read more

This is approaching Uzumaki in term of quality.
The mystery keeps bigger and bigger, and eventually reaches an unorthodox conclusion.
There are two issues with this manga, however.
First, the beginning of the story (first 10+ chapters or so) is MUCH stronger than the rest of it, as plot starts unfolding, at some point it becomes less coherent and deals less impact, which is why it is 7 and not 9.
The second thing is that the art takes some time to get used to as it rather unusual. The manga heavily uses lineart drawing with minimum shading, which is different from many other works. As a result in read more

As somebody said... it went from 100 to 0.

This is manga is about survival of black company employee during zombie apocalypse and trying to fullfill list of wishes.

The art is decent, the story has shounen tropes in it, meaning protagonist being naive/saintly, villains being on occasion nearly comical and inhuman and so on. It was a decent read for duration of manga, touching on tougher subjects, not overly silly and with plenty of black humor in it, but around chapter 17 they introduced a story turn which, as far as I can tell, flushed everything they were building for down the drain. A pity.

It is great. And I'm a bit sad that it ended.

The anime sort of starts as a slice of life comedy like yuushiki. Cute girls doing cute things..... in a VRMMO. But. The protagonist approaches the game in a very unorthodox way, acquires odd and unusual abilities and, suddenly, there are fight scenes. Amazingly done dynamic and well animated fight scenes. So starting with a simple premise we have a bit of comedy, amazingly well done battles, and at the same time non of this has any dark drama, because it is a game.

And that makes the anime outstanding.

In greater detail.

Story: 7/10.

This is one of the kind work that you probably should check out because there's nothing quite like it. It is a comedy, a tragedy, slice of life, horror, sports and bunch of other genres mixed in, with a rather complex overarching story and fairly large cast of characters. Art style is quite uncommon too, and in the age of simplified visuals, child-like or teen-like characters, the visuals are different - while this is certainly manga style, it heavily uses black, it is a bit messy, and on realistic side. It resembles works of Nihei Tsutomu (Blame!, Ningyo no Kuni, Sidonia no Kishi) due to read more

This is a weaker, less entertaining, less fun Konosuba, with actually capable knight, less interesting protagonist, no aqua, no megumin, and some incredibly generic heroine added to the cast.

Basiclaly, in 12 chapters the story meanders about and tries to make fun of male lead's situation, then it tries to throw in a bit of fanservice, and then plot sorta starts moving.... but none of this is very interesting.

The art is okay-ish, it has same proportions like konosuba (meaning leading characters are teenage proportioned or even childlike), but the story isn't fun, and attempts to joke fell flat.

It might be worth checking out for the art read more

Adult audience only.

It is actually fairly decent or even good, but you need to know what you're getting yourself into.

This anime feels like somebody combined together Heterogenia Linguistic(manga), Centaur no Nayami (manga) and.... Ping Pong club (Ike! Ina-chuu Takkyuubu).
In this particular case we get to look at uh, sexual part of lives of fantasy races with their fetishes and all, but all of this combined with fairly rough jokes some of which can gross out unprepared individual. The show is about group of buddies that decided to "taste the rainbow" and get acquianted with brothels made by other races.

Amusingly, this is somehow not hentai, read more

This is.... well.... some sort of erotic ecchi horror fantasy thriller thing.

We have a mystery, we have a mysterious powers, we have a cult, mentioned in the official description, we have ecchi/perverted elements (it is not on hentai level) and even lovecraft references.

But.

This is poorly done. The male from the main duo is being a total idiot, to the degree where it is irredeemable. Looking at the story as a whole, it is a mish mash with elements that feel forced, namely crazy antagonists, the whole cheap excuse for erotic/ecchi elements, and so on. Then there's matter of characters not being really believable. It read more
