It is decent.
The premise is, again, reincarnation. But there are multiple souls in single body, and sometimes they take turns.
it does start incredibly interesting and with a bag, but over time, it sort of turns into a slog, and from the initial adventure, transforms into a manga about warfare and politics.
At the moment I'm 75 chapters in and I can say that I'm losing the interest.
The artwork has its own style, but I have a feeling that compared to even beginning of the manga it is slowly deteriorates. The author uses sort of sketch-like style for characters, but earlier chapters have more details and
...
are drawn with the gr eater care compared to the later ones. I'm unsure what happened.
During the journey, and especially in earlier chapters there were many powerful and memorable characters, but now, 75 chapters in, only a few of them remain in spotlight, t he rest are somewhere on sidelines, and the whole work sort of became dull.
It sort of reminds me of what happened with World Customize Creator where an amazing potential somehow devolved into politics of the court or something. This title isn't as bad as World Customize Creator, but it definitely lost a lot of steam, along the way, and the (perceived) reduction of art quality didn't help this impression.
At the mometn I'm unsure if I should continue trying to read it. It updates infrequently.
The final verdict is that it is certainly very interesting early on, but along the journey something happens and it becomes less fun. So it might be worth to check it out and see if this one is for you or not.
So, 6/10 story, 5/10 art, 5/10 character, 5/10 enjoyment, 5/10 overall.

It is decent.
This work definitely has shoujo/jousei overtones, meaning it is highly likely female oriented (no offense intended), due to accent on interpersonal relationship between female lead and likely male lead. If you want action, then this one is slow paced. It slightly reminds me of Seijo no Maryoku, except that Seijo was HEAVILY focused on relationships, compared to this tile, which only accents them.
Instead of devolving into heavy handed romance with people completely engrossed into thinking about their feelings, this title takes its time to take a look at the world, and tries to paint details of it, although in rather broad strokes,
...
plus some of the things are handled in a bit heavy-handed moralistic fashion. The female lead is a bit of a ditz, but she is a happy/cheerful/energetic title, and not a stereotypical "weak female in glasses" you can encounter in some of the other works. So she is interesting to watch, she has her opinions, and although the loves to occasionally hint on someone's internal conflict, this is not too annoying and is not done too poorly.
The art is on better side. Detailed characters, although many of them transform into chibis for comedic purposes. Their personality is... passable. it is not awful, but some of them do not get enough screen tim, or spent a tiny bit too much in their "inner dialogue", which makes them not so lifelike. Overall it was interesting to see hints of the world, although I wish the author put more emphasis on it.
In short... not bad. You'll likely like it more if you're into josei/shoujo titles, but this might be worth checking out if you have free time. Aside from odd dark elements in the story this one is rather peaceful, and female lead dealing with alchemy is sort of interesting to watch.
6/10 story, 6/10 art, 5/10 character, 5/10 enjoyment, 6/10 overall.

It is quite different from the first manga and anime adaptation. The adaptation was almost whimsical, and nearly calm.
This, though? This is DARK. I've seen 18 chapters so far, it looks like the author is weaving the plot, mixing menacing, deranged or villainous characters with very stereotypical anime/manga behaviors. So you can have a total lunatic from protagonist side doing something cruel offscreen, or people getting stabbed onscreen, and then someone goes into chibi mode and starts impersonation of a pouting hamster.
All I can say that the resulting work is very odd, but at the same time it is quite different from anything else.
...
For some reason it reminds me of "Somali to Mori" in places, with the dark part that wasn't present in Somali.
There's an overarching plot, but so far it is unclear where it is going. The art is delightful (especially compared to low detail anime adaptation which had very cheap backgrounds), characters are drawn well, and it is pleasant to read. The mix of serious tone with stereotypes is also interesting, but the result is not for everybody.
I'd say this is largely worth reading if you enjoyed Black Joke, Murcielago, although this title does not have that level of gore, and I don't really recall "onscreen" sexual content. This also does not really feel like shounen title either. So, basically a darker fantasy world where stereotypical behavior is mixed with serious tropes.
I'd recommend to check it out.

In early 2000s I've found an amazing anime caled "You're under arrest", loved it, watched sequels all the way till they drove the show into the ground and ruined it.
So upon seeing "Hakozume" I hoped it would be something like "You're under arrest", "Patlabor" and the like.
I was mistaken. This is not You're under arrest, and the whole thing is a mixed bag, with serious ups and downs.
The problem here is that the anime mixes comedy with dark gritty events of real life. The slice of life, light comedy, jokes, everyday events - those parts are entertaining to watch and are interesting. They're not, unfortunately,
...
on "You're under arrest" level, but they're genuinely entertaining, even though the characters are not exactly the most believable characters around. 6/10 material, pretty much.
However, after that the anime switches to hard and dark topics, it handles them in awful manner, with a subtlety of being hit with a sledgehammer. It gets very preachy when darker aspects of life are touched, characters stop being lifelike, start rambling on and lecture the reader, and it starts looking like some sort of propaganda. It is thoroughly awful. Around 3/10 material, I'd say.
Another problem is that while You're Under Arrest featured adults, this anime even though it is well drown and adult proportioned seriously look like a lot of those characters are late teens at best and not adults that went through the academy. I'm not sure what's up with that, but it does throw me off while watching it.
The visuals are nice. The characters have highly detailed faces, the show is heavily in realistic style, but as a result, there isn't a whole lot of detailed fluid movement going on. They don't go overboard with cost cutting, mind you, I've seen far worse. It is just don't expect something like parkour here.
Speaking of story, some of the story devices are simply thrown out, like the initial premise that "when I met her, my trouble started". That's bait and switch, never brought up again.
In the end due to ups and SERIOUS down in the story, I'd say it averages around 5, because some moments are nice, but when it starts preaching it becomes bad. Mightbe worth checking for the visuals, though those are not on masterpiece level either, just slightly better than average.
5/10 story, 6/10 art, 5/10 sound, 5/10 character, 5/10 enjoyment, 5/10 average.

There are only 9 translated chapters available at the moment, but this one is extremely promising, and in places resembles freiren.
It is slice of life, of sorts, and there's plenty of world building. It is rather calm, but at the same time it occasionally takes more somber tome, as the main character goes through the world and his actions leave an impact.
I would say that this is more suitable for slightly older audience, as there are no harems to collect, no super powers, and while the main character is an odd being in the world, it is interesting to watch how his journey slowly unfolds
...
and how people and things around him change, over time.
I say it resembles freiren because the work occasionally touches on aspect of main character's species being different from humans, and thus having difference in perception of things, and that alternative perspective for me was fascinating.
Still, there's no danger looming over the world, no impending doom, just an oddball elf moving through the world looking for his interests.
I liked it and recommend it. It is unfortunate that only a few chapters are currently availbale.

It is a gimmick reincarnation isekai. Meaning Main Character is reborn in another world, with some gimmick ability.
Key points and things that stand out:
* The art is nice.
* The MC isn't overpowered.
* MC is weak/cowardly, but not in an annoying way, rather he looks extremely life-like.
* It doesn't waste too much your time explaining systems and introducing obligatory grass quest.
* Many "beautiful girl" pictures, but i'm not sure I would call it fanservice.
* The art is not stereotypical, many adult proportioned characters.
Basically, the manga has its ups and downs. MC is interesting because he's lifelike, and while he is weak and cowardly, somehow he
...
is not annoying. It feels like "this could be a real person". The art shines, and it is obvious that the artist loves drawing pretty girls and women. The pages where the manga shows the world are well down, while it isn't super-thorough world-building, it was interesting to see shops and the like. It is also nice to see a character that is not stupidly overpowered, and doesn't instantly go on some sort of chuuni crusade, power trip, revenge and so on. It is rather peaceful. However, the manga becomes rather uninteresting when main character tries to interact with women (poorly handled), and includes at least one annoying plot device from other works of this time.
Overall, I'd say it is interesting and is worth checking out.

This is a very monumental and very adult work (no sexual content here though), with somber undertones, many dark events and serious events. It has amazing visuals, carefully crafted characters, and it does not use stereotypical modern manga visuals.
Here's the problem though... I've been following this for a long time, at some point it went on hiatus and as a result around the end, I COMPLETELY lost track of the events. Who is who? Who are all those people? What the heck is happening? I mean, I still remember the gist of it, but it feels odd.
If you read Durarara before, you remember the Durarara
...
storytelling where they keep introducing characters, then amass events and keep adding more and more characters, and events keep piling up and explode in conclusion? This manga kinda tried to do something similar, but BECAUSE of the hiatus, because of the structure of the story, because of certain plot device the author used, rather than feeling some sort of conclusion, the conclusion led me to complete confusion. It feels like the last chapters shattered in a million pieces and every piece has ran off giggling in a different direction. It doesn't help that due to the visual style some characters are different but look nearly identical to each other, so I had very hard time keeping track of who is who.
It feels like to piece this thing together, and I'd need to reread it 3 or 4 times while investigating every page with a magnifying glass and taking notes, but I honestly do not feel like doing something like that.
So in the end it is:
Story: 5/10 It is monumental, but confusing close to the end.
Art: 7/10. Really good, really thorough, it is not on berserk level, though, and didn't make my jaw drop, but a lot of care was put into those pages, carefully constructed backgrounds and so on.
Characters: 6/10. Life-like.
Enjoyment: 6/10 It was interesting.
Overall: 6/10.
Confusing ending didn't help me, and the story didn't feel very coherent. It feels like the author wanted to make many points, but it is not quite clear what he was trying to tell. May require deep analysis and multiple rereads.
The author, however, also wrote Oyasumi Pun-Pun, and if you liked that one, you'll probably like this one as well. The unusual art style and careful drawings stand out, and as a result I recommend to check this one out, if you have an opportunity.

I'm not quite sure why, but I'm not having any fun while watching this.
I'm familiar with the source material, and, to be honest it is quite weak. But this.
The main issue here is that pretty much every action feels forced, drawn out and occasionally cringe-inducing, as a result it isn't any fun. We have a cute female* lead, yes. Her design is interesting. But premise of tension between gender-flipped character and his friend doesn't click for me and is not very interesting. There's no fun banter between, no fun dialogue, no amazing interactions, it all feels very dull. It simply isn't written well.
In six episodes
...
so far the only scene I really liked was the beginning of the sixth episode where certain character appears, and that lasted just a few seconds. For a second there's a glimpse of something that the series could've been but never became.
Overall, this sort of just feels forced all the time, and even though it tries to make fun of various cliches and tropes, it was, for me, very unenjoyable. Maybe it is just not my kind of humor, I don't know.
One thing that does stand out is visuals. For some reason designs of female characters that appear (few minor characters) are well done. But that's pretty much the whole thing that I liked.
4/10 story, 6/10 art, 5/10 sound, 4/10 character, 4/10 enjoyment, 4/10 overall.

The most important thing is that this is one of the Chinese Manhuas that are GOOD and are worth reading. It is also quite hard to review.
"Nan Hao Shang Feng" is an episodic comedy about two friends, the friends of those friends and their shenanigans at school. The comedy is on ... over the top side, revolves around absurd situations and occasionally becomes surreal. There are misunderstanding, people doing ridiculous things with completely serious face, overly dramatic poses, there are occasional easter eggs in background, and if I were to describe it in a few words, it is a comedy of absurdity, where people often
...
try to do something ridiculous while trying to look serious. There isn't a lot of dialogue, actually, it is more of "show, don't tell", characters talk little and the dialogue is to the point.
If you saw Tamen de Gushi (another good chinese Manhua), this one feels very similar to the funny episodes of Tamen de Gushi, although it doesn't have Yuri in it, and serious episodes are very infrequent.
The art is obviously anime/manga influenced, but it is on realistic side, and most of the characters are adult proportioned. No chibies here, and no tiny teenagers. The guys look like they're 18 to 19 years old.
The structure is episodic and revolves aroudn ridiculous situations. As a result the characters are believable in their ridiculous acting, but there's normally no "deep psychological" stuff going on and next to no overarching elements.
I highly recommend to check it out, because it is funny and entertaining.

It is thoroughly average low budget anime that is focusing on making fun of various "masked fighter" and sentai series and tropes.
In detail:
Story: 5/10.
Highly stereotypical characters, not downright horrible, and may produce a chuckle or two, but overall it is not incredibly interesting or eventful. By the episode 4 it had some nice moment, but usually it is trying to do the "slow joke" kind of thing where they're forcing a somewhat absurd situation and take too long with it to makei t fun. I'm not sure how else to explain it.
Art: 4/10:
Low detail on characters and backgrounds. In many cases background is flat
...
or missing. Individual designs of female character is cute. Frankly, for some reason this reminds me of Disgaea - both level of detail and style. It may step from the characters themselves, as they have "Disgaea proportions" which are halfway between teens and full chibis.
Sound: 5/10:
It is okay, and it is not awful.
Character: 4/10:
They're highly stereotypical and behavior often feels forced. Then again, this anime is trying to be a comedy, so maybe it is its point.
Enjoyment: 5/10:
I didn't hate it and didn't love it. Some characters are cute, but the story often feels dull or somewhat, I don't know, forced or prolonged. There are some slightly amusing moments, and cute scenes, but overall it kinda lacks punch.
Overall: 5/10:
This is an average quality time-waster show which you could check out if you have time to spare and nothing else to watch. It is not the worst, it is not awful, but it isn't really good either. However, if you're a fan of "sentai" anime series, you might find it more interesting. They did try to do some interesting things, like certain processes related to creation of monsters, which is not something those sort of shows often cover, at times it sorta looks like "office life" kind of anime, but in the end it lacks punch in it. It is not awful, and might be worth checking out. However, if you skip it, you won't lose much.
