First they try to pull the Goblin Slayer intro and start the series in the worst way possible. Then they forget about it all, and spend time making pretty much slice of life with a cute mascot. Then few people get slaughtered in graphic fashion. Then bunch of characters act in completely idiotic way, and then they try some awkward fanservice.
Honestly, the only good points about this are nice backgrounds and decent music. Everything else is mostly wasted potential.
The main issue is that I've found main character to be insufferable. He is incredibly powerful, but most of the time is acting in silly or incompetent manner, and basically he has the same problem as Kenshiro had in Fist of the North Star. Meaning when somebody is in trouble, he has ability to intervene at no risk, and he doesn't do that and patiently waits for sufficient number of people to get hurt. It is pretty much impossible to watch without facepalming.
It doesn't help that source material wasn't great to begin with.
By the way, this anime uses CG, and main character due to complexit of his armor is often portrayed with a CG model. CG is far better than what was present in Goblin Slayer, but it is possible to notice it.
So, long story short...
2/10 story, 6/10 art, 5/10 sound, 2/10 character, 2/10 enjoyment, 2/10 overall.
The main issue is poorly done characters and poorly done main character who does not exactly act in reasonable way and instead is infuriating.
I do not recommend this, and I'll be dropping those series.
