Western Restaurant Nekoya is a popular eatery located on a street corner in a Tokyo shopping district. Serving both traditional Japanese fare as well as Western dishes, this eating establishment is popular among Tokyo's residents. But this seemingly ordinary restaurant is also popular with another type of clientele...

While the restaurant is thought to be closed on Saturdays, the truth is that on this special day each week, its doors are instead opened to the inhabitants of other worlds. From dragons and elves to fairies and mages, this restaurant has no shortage of strange customers. Nevertheless, the enigmatic chef known only as "Master" will be waiting to serve up their favorite dishes with a kind smile and keep them coming back for many more Saturdays to come.

I like anime about cooking, even though I can't cook. And this anime is one of the anime that makes me like this genre even more. They don't make this anime exaggerated, and you can still understand the setting. The story given is quite unique and not too forceful. You are not forced that their food is the best in the whole world. Each character in the anime also has a very unique story background that is different. And the most interesting thing is you feel like you know them, you wish you could get along with them. even though you weren't there.

Mixed Feelings

As far as Isekai anime goes, this is somewhere in the middle of the road.

The show's Isekai restaurant premise has already been done once before, but this one is a step-up from Isekai Nobu.
The animation and character models are great for what the show tries to do but nothing that stands out so much to make this a "Top tier" Isekai anime.

The show doesn't have a plot line, only episodic tales that only gives insight to how the fantasy world works through each characters personal experiences with the main character (If we could call him that) the chef of the restaurant, offering each ...

I went into the anime expecting a good anime which it is in a way just it left a lot to be desired whether it be in my opinion lack of story besides the fact that hey it's a magic restaurant from another world and people love the food which is ok but if you have 12 episodes of pretty much the exact same thing it's not good
In the words of vaas from far cry 3 the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results
Then oh boy the Big ol Inconsistency it's like a man threw a puppy ...
