Great & wonderful episode. This restaurant is amazing. Free refills on bread & soup. Nekoya is literally a life saver.

Great to see Aletta working. Sarah & Heinrich enjoying their minced meat cutlet & fried shrimp puts a smile on my face. The food looks so good. I'm hungry.

Love the respect everyone gives to Tenshu.
Looking forward to another episode next week.

Yeah Im afraid this is gonna be repetitive, but I hope that doesn't happen.
And I like to know if that door appears on the same other world everytime? Or many differents worlds? Or in the same world but in a lot of different locations at the same time?. I think this last a idea could be more accurate.

I just watch this anime to torture myself and make me hungry D:

Honestly I don't know what to say except that I really enjoy this anime.
There's no detailed explanation or stories about each character you just watch them came and eat at the restaurant. That's it lol

Yet another great episode with exquisite food and likable characters. For now, my only worry is that these scenes don't get too repeated and that is all.
Free refills of refreshing water, sweet bread and delicious soup along with the heavenly food.. My, this must be Paradise!

This anime is so relaxing. Cannot relax if we haven't eat yet though. Sarah is so beautiful, like her already. And i love all the characters, they all have normal fun personality. I wish restaurant like that exist in real life, delicious food, cool chef, cute waitress, and free water, bread, and sauce. I will definitely attend the restaurant once a week XD. This is a nice warm up show before watching Shokugeki no Souma S3. Hope the story will improve though.

"My comrades are dying to monsters and poison...! But, man, I'm hungry."

"I'm in a rush to deliver this message to save the duchy...! But, man, that shrimp."

That aside, I feel bad for William Gold. He should've hired people to get takeouts for him in his last days.

Day of of the busiest days of the week in most cases, though don't know if that also applies to the number of doors in the other world appearing all at once or one at a time.

This makes me interested in the way the door works now. Would be it possible to go in from one location, and later leave together with another customer who came in from another location and instantly be transported to a distant territory? Otherwise, I would assume a single customer leaves from the same door they came in through on the other side. If I were a peddler/merchant, I'd try to exploit this feature somehow by trying to get the other patrons as collaborators. Or if it's not possible, then just take my chances, follow another customer out when they leave, while carrying enough food and water for a week in a worst case scenario until I can get back in on Saturday and try again...all the while enjoying good food once a week.

I'm not sure if this is an oversight or just how the door works, but in the first episode Aletta entered Nekoya after Tenshu had served the dragon queen and gone to sleep; since the door only appears in their world on Saturday, that means she either must have left the restaurant on Sunday (which suggests it will automatically send the person opening the door back to their point of entry regardless of the day, otherwise she would have stepped out into Japan) or Tenshu hid her there for a week until Saturday rolled around again.

Maybe the LN goes into more detail?

*Such a tasty treat to welcome our usual customer every once a seven days*

Fulfilling that their hunger already filled with such savory taste.. that can also bring a happiness to us and felt even more relaxing ^_^

It's very plain, but at least the isekai angle makes it slightly more interesting than if it was just a normal food porn show. Still not as exciting as it could be, but this was an improvement at least.

It's unfortunate how repetitive it'll be whenever a new customer is introduced. I noticed the bill is never stated, but they always tell you what's free. The language of the menu you receive is a need to know as well. Let's not forget your always told to add a condiment or two to improve the flavor of your meal. Seeing how the customers get there and their reaction upon entering makes up for it. Normally, a person with a weapon in hand would be consider a robber. Instead, our chef tells them to put it away and welcomes them in to order.

More people coming to the eatery and telling their stories.
The food reminds me of Shokugeki No Souma.

I love the cast. Pretty decent episode.

So far so good, it seems like Shokugeki no Souma with alternate world background and less overboard reaction.

I wish we had more character designs like hers across all anime in general.

If every anime was made like that we they wouldn't have below age 13 viewers
I completely agree, although we know that's not happening with all the fan-service and oppai-obsessed people basically funding the industry. Apparently, the character designer for the show's source material and Baccano's are the same.

If every anime was made like that we they wouldn't have below age 13 viewers. and in terms of fanservice it should fit the character

This series is the real life equivalent of a cold day sitting next to a fireplace, feet elevated on a cushioned stool while reading a good book. It's so comforting and really just warms the heart. I fucking love this!

I'm crying? I honestly want to eat all the food they're eating in the show. Ffffff. I'm glad that it's not like Shokugeki no Soma with characters getting naked once they ate a delicious food. Hahaha!

Great episode , It's always a pleasure to see food in anime it just looks so perfect that you need to have a taste but you can't :(((((( , Well anyways Aletta's getting used to work there and that's a good thing and the customers are loving the restaurant's food and the best thing is that there's a variety of customers from different places with different cultures , I like that sort of story setting it's really great ... Anyways , A great episode with delicious food and i like how they added the mystery vibe in it it's really fitting in there and i hope they reveal the secrets in the last episodes because it's gonna make things more thrilling to me so yea I'm ready for more , Looking Forward !!!!

This is a heartwarming show, I've never seen something like this before, love the setting very much.

I still feel insulting that some other animes this season have a highest average than this one.

I always get hungry when I watch this show.

Day of Satur must Saturday right?

Grandpa Gold seems like a cool wise grandpa. The cutlet sandwich she received must be the same sandwich she had been eating in her childhood. Quite a touching moment.

I came here to say the very same thing! So glad I wasn't the only one to think that.

I can say that I didn't know what to expect from this show. I also can say that I don't really have any idea why I like this show so far. I don't know if it will get better or worse, but I think I've decided to stick with it at this point.

Agree with the guy above me, though I did know this was gonna be one of the better AOTS.
Overall episode was an 8.5/10
Love the vibe this anime gives off, calm and chill at the same time giving a strong sense of fantasy feels and adventure.

Needs and deserves much more attention than it is getting so far!

Ha ha ha! You're not gonna get me twice with all that mouth watering food show, I came prepared with my own chocolate bar to ease the craving. XD
.......But the shrimp and meat cutlets looked so good. T.T

I don't know... Having a chocolate bar when they're serving such delicious fried shrimps... I'd be tears when looking at the difference between the 2 XD
But I guess it's better than watching this episode on an empty stomach. Why oh why did I do that T_T

Don't know the source material, haven't even heard of it. But this is a discount Shokugeki no Souma in the way every character seems to be an expert food critic. Not very interesting for me, especially considering that it is constantly showing Japanese cuisine as the best in the universe. Don't get me wrong, I love Japanese cuisine, but saying it's the best there is is just bigotry.

I actually thought about the foogasms of Shokugeki no Souma, because every new costumer in the restaurant seems an expert, world-class food critic. Ramsey would probably say the pork cutlet was raw, and free refills of soup and bread would bankrupt the restaurant.

Really enjoying the atmosphere of this show. It's a bunch of super diverse characters from another world eating food. That's it, but its so enjoyable, and interesting to watch their own reasons for coming.

Also like the subtle hints that they drop about the current situation in the world. The blonde haired knight guy was at a fort fighting monsters, and the moon was all fucked up. They're presenting it in a way that implies there's obviously a story there, but the way it's presented sets it up so that its ambiguous enough to let the viewer guess and make up their own story...but if they wanted to show it, it would still work.

And I feel like a fucking idiot for taking the entire episode to realize that the "Day of Satur" fucking Saturday. Shit went completely over my head the whole time until they say it at the very end.

Ok, I get it now. It is literally food porn. You also have to skip the boring parts to get to the plot. But is there really any plot? Do I want to waste my time on this?
