It looks so fine! I think this adaption will be a good one. I trust Studio Wit! I'm very well excited to see Thorfinn in animated form.

This looks quite promising.

Filled with terrible 3DCGI, but I was kind of expecting this adaptation to be full 3D so still pleasantly surprised.

Wow, couldn't be more excited about this one. Have been a big fan of the series for years.

At the very least it will be a better adaptation than Berserk.

I just hope they do it with the exactly content of the manga or make it in a better way like fixing things than the author didn't like, etc.

I've heard much praise of the manga and while I don't see myself reading it anytime soon this PV looks interesting at the very least, I'll give it a watch.

It's a plus that it's by Wit as well.

Yes, yes, yes!! I love this series and it looks so good animated! It's about time it got an anime! Hope they give us an airing date soon besides just "2019". Plus the music in the trailer is so beautiful and fitting for the series!

Goddamn Vinland Saga is possibly one of the greatest series ever.

Hoping this anime does it absolute justice.

looking forward this adaptation

Looks pretty good, I'm hoping they don't overdo the CGI in the battles like in Kingdom and this could be great. Background CGI is not the biggest deal to me, but the staff does have me a little worried.

Will WIT studio make another hit?

CGI doesn't look that bad to me, very excited about this adaptation

To those freaking out about the CGI listen, it's staying in the industry no matter what so complaining about it won't do any good. At the very least the CG is being used on certain elements in the background like the boats and fodder soldiers, it's really not that big of a deal. Especially, when the 2D scenes look impressive.

the camera effects and character models on the sword fights are 3DCG

and im not complaining about 3DCG in anime in fact i want more anime in 3DCG, some of my favorite anime studios are 3DCG specialist like SANZIGEN and Orange

I'm happy with how it's looking. Yeah the CG scenes left a lot to be desired but ehh, I'll take what I can get. The 2D scenes look gorgeous, the music is astounding, and the cinematography looks nice as hell.

One can debate about how the character designs are lacking compared to the manga but, one should first learn the purpose of the character designer...their job is to draw simplified designs so they can be more adequate for animation since the more detailed manga designs are near impossible to adapt. So it's normal for anime character designs to be simpler. What boils down is the animation which from the PV looks fine.

I'm personally optimistic about this project. The Inuyashiki director, Banana Fish scriptwriter, AoT studio, and the Tokyo Ghoul composer are more than enough reassurance for me. Again I agree that the CGI could've been better (better yet left out) but it's outweighed by the positives.

This CGI looks pretty bad D:

I hope it's a good anime like manga

The AOTY is soon upon us

So far, everything looks great to me, I hate how nowadays the mere sight of CG is instantly seen as bad by the community, but from what they showed in this PV, it doesn't even look bad

But either way, I have no doubt in Wit's production skills and I for one am glad that one of Titan's CG directors is working on this too
