How I rate anime/manga
10: Truly a masterpiece
9: Outstanding
8: Really enjoyable
7: Enjoyable, around the average anime/manga
6: (from this point on, consider I haven't enjoyed it) Is not good enough to be considered 'good' to me, but it could be okay to some people
5: Quite a bad show, only watch it if you have time to loose.
1-4: Any anime in here is for me one of the worst animes out there, that is why there aren't much of those.

Also, that's understandable! I go to school out-of-state, but it's still inside of my country, so it isn't too much of a change even though the USA is HUGE. Everyone attended the science classes since those classes are hardcore at my school, and everyone attended the lectures in my Portuguese class. I was really surprised by how most students were present during my English class, considering that class was very boring (maybe because I was the only science person taking the class, so I was the minority there...). For my history class, the teacher basically linked us to YouTube videos and told us to have a blast. Granted, he was an old dude who didn't know much about the Internet but jeez...
Regarding your profile, that's fine! I usually update it bi-yearly at this point. My activity on the website switches from really active to basically nonexistent depending on what I'm doing in real life. I've finally finished my profile, but that took a bit to do...
No summer classes since it is extra money, and I also feel like taking a break from things. I'm burnt out from online courses from my high school years, so I want to reduce the number of online classes I take during college.
Also, are you ever going to finish your profile? LOL! I just noticed it has been under construction for a quick minute now~
Regarding the animations, I don't really care much about CGI. I watch anime for the story and the story's influence on me. The art is sort of a nice bonus to the story, and if it isn't the best, then I don't mind too much. Of course, there is a limit to how much I can take. I really hate the standard shoujo art style and the art style that is common with manga before the 90s.
Also, there are cases where CGI actually compliments the anime. For example, Land of the Lustrous wouldn't have been as good without CGI, and the same goes with Beastars. I think it all depends on the execution. I think the problem with CGI nowadays is that these shows use CGI to reduce the costs of producing the anime rather than using CGI to add more depth to the animation.
Also, how are you doing as of late? Hopefully, life is treating you well regardless of everything going on.
