The Fantasia Bunko Daikanshasai 2018 event announced a TV anime adaptation of Dachima Inaka and Pochi Iida's Tsuujou Kougeki ga Zentai Kougeki de 2-kai Kougeki no Okaasan wa Suki desu ka? (Do You Love Your Mom and Her Two-Hit Multi-Target Attacks?) light novel series on Sunday.

Synopsis
A new kind of momcom roleplaying adventure!

What would you do if you got transported into a video game...with your mom?? That's the dilemma facing high schooler Masato Oosuki, who has been unwittingly thrown into an RPG world with his doting mother close behind as part of a secret government scheme. As an avid gamer, Masato is eager to show off his skills...but that's hard to do when your mom is an insanely overpowered, dual-wielding, multi-target specialist! (Source: Yen Press)

Inaka launched the comedy fantasy series with illustrations by Iida under the Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint in January 2017. Kadokawa published the sixth volume on August 18. The novel won the Grand prize at the 29th Fantasia Taisho contest. A manga adaptation by Meicha has been serialized in Young Ace UP magazine since last October. The first compiled volume went on sale on August 25.

Yen Press licensed the light novel earlier this March and plans to publish the first volume on November 27.

I did read a bit of the first volume and I liked it. I was wonderig when ths was going to have an anime and I'm looking forward to it (especially Ai Kayano voicing Mamako)

I Feel like after 2019 there is not going to be much left for the Isekai genre between 2015 - 2019 almost all of the best known titles of the Isekai genre have either had anime adaptations made or have been announced to recieve an Anime adaption and while there are a couple good series left i feel the genre will really feel stagnated after that much like the mech genre is now.

Still i am excited to see this, i heard it is pretty funny and the plot has an interesting unique idea behind it that it should provide some interesting scenarios. Still J.C Staff? It seems this studio is really packed with multiple projects, my guess this will be shown in the summer season or later so it will be a while.

Reading the synopsis I am expecting a lot of cringe.. oh my god. The things that you would not want to be doing with your mom around, especially if you have a harem of lolis. Imagine the horror..

Well here's something unexpected. One thing I'm afraid about is if the mom is a bit of an airhead. It looks fun, but I hope they can nail the comedy aspect right. Also, I'm going to expect one of those moments where the son is in danger and says "save me mommy!", and the mom gets an adrenaline rush and goes Yuno Gasai on everyone's ass.

Mostly comical, there's no incest here. But since this novel tackles with mother-son/daughter modern relationship problems, there's also some drama too.

Oh well, I have a bad feeling most people will heat up or overreact like current GS going with so many same reddit post/yt video here and there with nothing new to say and its getting tiring to watch.
