I started this anime journey of mine back in 2011, when I was about 17-18 and after going through a few shows, a part of me knew I was going to keep it around as a hobby. (Though why it took me about 6 years later to get around to making a MAL account is beyond me)

Of course, anime isn't the only media I am really active with. I read manga, light novels, interact with western media like novels, live-action shows and films (have yet to experience a J-drama by the way).

When I'm not doing any of those, I try to write. I have two stories I've been dabbling around with for the past couple of years. One is an urban fantasy story and the other one is an isekai (have to get it out of my system at some point).

My ratings are more based on how I personally feel about something. Sure while enjoyment can be a factor and since I tend to go in with an open mind with whatever piece of work interests me, it probably explains why I don't give out a lot of low scores. But what can make something a favorite for me is how much I personally connect with it and of that same connection could stick around if I were to revisit in the near future.
