According to Issui Okawa's Twitter, it was announced that his science fiction novel Michibiki no Hoshi
will be getting an anime adaptation. The second sentence on the image indicating "screen adaptation to come Fall 2018" is not clear if it talks about the anime adaptation or if there is another adaptation coming. Further details regarding the project will be announced at a later date.

People on the Earth traveled through the galaxy and had a chance to contact aliens.
