It was announced that light novel Sakurada Reset will get a TV anime adaptation, as well as a two-part live-action movie, slated for Spring 2017.

Sakurada Reset is written by Yutaka Kouno and illustrated by You Shiina. It began publishing under the Sneaker Bunko label in June 2009 and ended with a total of seven volumes in April 2012. A manga adaptation of the novel's first volume drawn by Masahiko Yoshihara was serialized in Shounen Ace magazine in December 2010. The series is set to receive new editions of both light novel and manga starting September 24, 2016 for seven consecutive months, promoted as a media-mix project by Kadokawa.

Synopsis
Nearly half the population of Sakurada, a small town near the Pacific Ocean, has some sort of unique power. These powers range from being able to enter the mind of a cat, to resetting the world back to a certain point in time in the past. There is a group known as the "Kanrikyoku" that controls and monitors the use of these powers. Asai Kei and Haruki Misora work for their school's club called "Houshi" club, which executes any missions received from the Kanrikyoku. Misora has the ability to reset the world 3 days. This means that all events and any memory of the past 3 days that "could have" happened, never happened. Kei has the ability to "remember" the past. Even after Misora uses her powers to reset the world back 3 days, Kei will retain those 3 days in his memory. Combining their powers, these two solve missions issued by the Kanrikyoku. The reset - remember combo is placed on two separate person is one small interesting twist to the usual time loop premise, I'll watch this.

I totally don't like the idea of "organization to control ESP users", tho

This is confirmed trash, Time Reset is shit in the first place.

You have Steins;Gate rated a 9/10 though.

Because Steins;Gate is about focus Okabe's character growth while the rest are just plot devices.
Okabe is very humane character and he doesn't change his personality all the time in every episode.

which is not the purpose of saying this is sure to be crap just because having an argument about time travel is quite recurrent in recent seasons but for being an "argument fashionable" that does not mean that will shit I think the animes that have used this premise have been able to carry out (Steins; Gate, Erased and Re: Zero) and personally really enjoy these shows about time travel and to change course of things.

So Jojo Part 6 and Hakomari is trash according to that logic...ok

Jojo Part 6 is an exception because Araki is a genius.
My Boy Mikage is also a genius and Tappei-sensei(triggering commences...)

Instead of Charlotte, I think Kei's ability to remember the future is more like Steins;Gate's Okabe's reading steiner ability.. And Misora is the Phone Microwave / Radio Time machine :P

I think this sounds pretty cool. Idgaf if people say its a re:zero or charlotte rip off. To me the genres mystery and supernatural sound a lot better than all that isekai "otaku NEET is a hero in a mmorpg world" stuff that is being written in overload atm.

Sakurada reset was fully published more than 2 years before those two works even started anyway. So it cannot be a rip off ^^".

Although the sudden anime so long after it was published may be influenced by the current time travel fad, I suppose... If this is really a fad in japan, that is.

These kinds of works sadly never translate well into anime or movies.

If the industry wants to cash on on the current time travel fetish, just come up with your own shit and make it into a anime or live action movie, leave the damn respected works alone.

It's pretty obvious given how long ago it ended that the anime is only being made to cash in on the whole time reset fad that's going on right now.
Most likely will be some rushed low effort project, reeks of something A-1 Pictures would do.

Never in my life disagreed with a comment this much...More Time Travel means more chance of getting a good Time Travel anime which tickles my kokoro as a Time Travel fan...

Time Travel can be good if Time Reset is not use but travelling to the future to explore something is a great example of Time Travel.
Watch Noein anime if you want to see the best Time Travel Anime of all time.

re:charlotte + HaruChika mystery? Sounds closer to the bungou stray dogs agency.
Catcam should be fun.

Ever since Erased... Time Travel is now the season crave for fans. Goodbye battle harems and hello time resets. UGH!!

I'll give this a chance... I guess but I'm not holding my breath.

^From an orny teenager's pov, the cat one is definitely better. Being able to enter girl's bath certainly has more utility than the complex to use reset the world one.
